  1. Is there any hint at the reason for the change? I see people jumping to blame MCM but no specific thing to show they had anything to do with it?

    Spoiler Discussion Thread: The Sequel

I wonder if they just didn't settle her contract yet or if there's a conflict in making the FF cast series regulars or not, since they are clearly doing FF in s8 and JDJ and BL both said they'd be back.

    That's actually so funny/sweet.

The Starling City Times: News and Media about Arrow

Marvel totally copied the Arrowverse, or specifically Marvel TV (admittedly not previously run by Kevin Feige but still CW's actual competition) definitely did. After Arrow did well, AoS (not copying Arrow but still after Arrow paved a way for superheores to go back to tv) came out and Daredevil s1 and Iron Fist s1 and the Neflix framework of having a shared superhero universe was taken from the Arrowverse.

Tbh, I would sooner guess that those scenes were extra stuff for the montage, but I don't think it would be surprising either way

    Arrow Stars in Other Roles

Pre-production begins in June, shooting doesn't happen until July. Shooting for s7 started July 6th.
  7. Reflecting on it, it looks like he kept it that short the whole time to refilm that scene with Oliver and the Moniter in 722, so not entirely SA's fault 😅

😅 Nothing, I just don't know what wanting Katy Keene or Nancy Drew to tank have anything to do with anything. It's those productions that would get way more punished than MP ever would.

He was never going to say "Please oh please, EBR, come back. We'll pay you exorbitant amount of money." or "She's definitely coming back. Do you want to know which episodes and the timecodes specifically?" He just means, if she does come back, that it's not going to be putting her in for the sake of putting her in order to honor her exiting scenes. Since he's the one who made sure she was kept on in the first place, of course he's grateful So Nancy Drew and etc. shows have to tank because of Arrow?

Is there any actual hint at a spin-off as of now? Besides the whole 716 aspect and the number of new characters and stuff. Like I totally think that was the intention, but is that still a go for I guess what would be the 2020-2021 season?

I'm going with that they were in the crowd scene when the virus drones showed up

    Spoiler Discussion Thread: The Sequel

I'd guess that 3 shows will have their Crisis episodes in 2019 (probably Supergirl but maybe Batwoman, Flash, and Arrow for Sunday/Tuesday or make it a special Monday-Tuesday) and that 2 shows will have theirs in 2020 (Batwoman/Supergirl on Sunday and Monday LoT if it returns in that slot for Midseason or also a switch to Monday/Tuesday for the special if LoT takes Arrow's spot)?
  13. That makes the whole part when she was supposed to be named Maya (and it wasn't a fake out, DR said it, and the writers and KM just said it changed once they got to 712) more interesting if that is the case XD

S07.E22: You Have Saved This City

Not directly and nothing from 722. All we know is he heads Knightwatch (the logo is the Spartan helmet), he had a falling out with JJ a few years ago, and he told Connor to watch over Mia when she was in Star City.

Beth mentioned in an interview that they would go more into Roy dealing with his blood lust and the fact that he killed 2 cops in s8

S07.E22: You Have Saved This City

SA picked one heck of a scene to visit to take that family pic, Felicity telling William and Mia that she was leaving and then likely sticking around to watch the last scene with Felicity going to reunite with Oliver in the future

    Spoiler Discussion Thread: The Sequel

To be fair, even with that info a bunch people didn't believe it until it happened and they went out of their way show and promo-wise to make it look like it wasn't the case, so it's not like the double wedding where there were actual pictures.

There aren't any FF, so it looks like they are doing like "x hours earlier" type flashbacks, yeah

Lol, not even close, it's basically the same one they usually have for the finales, here was s6-- and s4--

    Spoiler Discussion Thread: The Sequel

It indicates that the FF storyline is definitely more focused on the next gen and not on the Canary Network, so yeah, I kind of care
  22. Lol, can't think why writers would be excited to have employment and connections during a tense WGA/ATA face-off and get to write for characters they like!

Ratings and Scheduling: Hail to the Gods

It's kind of the reverse in my group. With the news that everything is wrapping up and EBR is leaving, they all want to catch up and watch all of the last episodes and the last episodes with EBR. I get that it doesn't really matter and no one really cares about anything, but it's funny with the different povs

    Spoiler Discussion Thread: The Sequel

JH clarified in another quote that it was because of tears of joy, because they liked the episode and it was a time the whole cast (since EK and KC came back and EBR is leaving) actually got to be together for a scene possibly for the last time. ETA: found the quote "We were crying the entire shoot. Not just because it’s sad, but because we know that the end is coming up and this is our last full-season finale…. It was just kind of surreal. It’s a really incredible script — everybody really put their all into it — and there is so much action. It’s very exciting, and really emotional.” So not that necessarily it was joy joy, but more of crying because of the experience more than saying the finale is sad. I don't think so. EK left. An appearance in the finale (which is one of the things Beth was referring to) is one thing, coming back is a whole other ordeal. I would sooner believe that they would have Alena """"replace"""" Felicity than Curtis. It could be a concern, but I don't think her quotes indicated it either way. She would say all of this stuff if Felicity didn't get killed off anyway. Heck, in 523, literally none of the main characters died ("cliffhanger" notwithstanding, they never were going to kill any of the leads and most of the fans knew it), and they still used descriptions very much like the ones Beth used.
