Spoilers and Speculation: Clink Boom and Cheese Fondue
LexieLily replied to BestestAuntEver's topic in General Hospital
The only reason these two have to interact or have in common is Charlotte and so what do they have to be dealing about? Laura's always going to be on her daughter's side and Nina is on Valentin's and wants Lulu to stay away. Maybe Laura goes to Nina and it's not a "deal" as it is a "you have two options here" scenario. Maybe Laura tells Nina that unless they all sit down and tell Charlotte the truth and put shared custody back on the table, Lulu will fight vigorously for full custody and is prepared to bring up Valentin's shady history and Nina's too? -
If anyone was going to be smarter about a situation like that it should be Laura Spencer, the woman that lived on the run with Luke Spencer for years and even brought up a child in that environment. But, because this is a soap opera, I was so afraid that is where this story was going or that she would wake up in that car and think she had been raped (natural, given her unfortunate history), but - nothing happened. Kevin found her and pretty quickly they came to the conclusion she was drugged, so - the entire point of it was to have her miss the board meeting and vote? Couldn't they have just given her a flat tire or a Lulu-related emergency or something happened to Spencer in that boarding school?

Before Danny, Alexis, the Davis Girls or Monica get told the news. Naturally.
-
How would Jake even know about the curse Helena put on Sam?
-
That was seriously the dumbest kidnapping plot ever. So Rudge drugged her, drove her around and then to JFK and just left her there?

You would think these super evil grand villains would learn not to tell anyone their plans and just DO IT! -

Wouldn't Liv have done her research beforehand and known that Robin is Anna's daughter? Why would she tell her anything? -
What is the reasoning in putting Franco in a JaSam scene when Jason is trying to get help for his wife and newborn DAUGHTER? (Jason better never let Franco near that little girl!) And of course tomorrow we have Jake asking FRANCO if Sam and the baby are going to be okay. OF COURSE. No need to see the actual JaSam child asking that of his grandma Alexis, right?

This would probably make more impact if Elizabeth hadn't actively ignored and dowmplayed his trauma since the day he was returned to her and made it so that his therapist and best buddy was a "reformed" serial killer. -
This must be how Robin fans must have felt. Yes, congratulations, magical Dr. Michael Easton saved the hospital with his super-potent life-saving drug money (?) and that's great for the hospital and the Q's, but has no one thought to ask Lulu and/or Kevin what could have made Laura miss a board meeting that she knew was this important?

Kids Baking Championship - General Discussion
LexieLily replied to formerlyfreedom's topic in Kids Baking Championship
I even take issue with the kids that need help frantically plating at the end of time (I swear there was one kid this season that had TWO other kids helping her) because of mismanagement, but at least that food/decoration is complete, only not on the finished plate. Kaniyah literally had Aiden whip her entire whipped cream (using the old-timey tool!) and plate it for her. -

We have in the finale a boy that can't make tart shells so he "deconstructed it" and put everything in a bowl and a girl that only got one required element onto her dish because a co-contestant literally did it for her, while the pie she made lacked in flavor and smoke. Justice has to win next week, right?- 2.3k replies

Season 24: Speculation, Rumors & Red Herrings
LexieLily replied to PhD-Purgatory15's topic in Dancing With The Stars
So this Heather Morris was a backup dancer for Beyoncé, used as a choreographer for Glee until Ryan Murphy created a character for her where she was lead dancer, and auditioned for SYTYCD. Why is she on this show? -
Is it supposed to be part of Julian's redemption that OJ took him hostage and cuffed him to a radiator so he is unable to help Sam? Because he knew for at least a day that OJ had Sam and did nothing.

I would have chosen Laura over Ann if I were Rachel. And today was just another example of how I would not handle it well to have Anne as my coach. I was totally on Mandy's side on that one in the main dish challenge stand-behind-them-and-offer-"advice" part.

Well, this is the same show that has Robert Scorpio! travel halfway around the world to go to Wyndemere and tell Laura that Luke is safe because apparently Luke is so far off the grid that he can't be bothered to communicate with his ex-wife and their daughter.

This is literally all I am hoping for out of this Valentin/Nina/Anna triangle. Though can it be called a triangle if one of the members has no idea she is a part of one?

My guess it's about Laura being missing. -
It would have been a lot more believable that Minnick is so invested in her students and residents if we hadn't seen her literally run away from Stephanie last week because she couldn't deal with the fact that she lost a child patient for the first time ever.

And how is this supposed to redeem Julian when he knows his crazy murderous sister has his daughter hostage and he isn't doing anything about it except leaving a message on Sam's voicemail?
-
Especially because now we have the subplot of Valentin being the one to find Anna and bring her to GH and worry over her. Is that for nothing except to bother Nina?
-
And he can't even do that correctly! Neither can she! (Do anything correctly, I mean). Sending it as "anonymous" via the MetroCourt?
-
And that imaginary conversation was one of the few or maybe the only times Sam has been allowed to properly acknowledge what he has done to her WITHOUT Franco or Liz or anyone trying to minimize her pain.
-
So - kind of like the same thing that is happening now? Lol
