  1. Or "Survivor 51: Our Parents Spent A Lot of Time on Survivor TV Forums." *She'd be happy to know she'd start that season with a non-target target on her back.
  2. Not-so-little-anymore Khaleesi (12) watched E2 with me. *squee* David takes a backseat in most strategy conversations: Look at David, like a little Complaint Sponge, soaking up everything he needs to have things go his way later. That's how all the vets should play, because literally no one seems to be looking at David as a vet- only Aubry, Kelley and Joe. On her favorite former player rocking a handlebar: So is Joe auditioning to be the new Pringles guy? RE: the potential Wentworth vote: It's like after 150 seasons they have finally realized that people with targets on their back are good to keep around for after-merge eliminations. They should really come up with a different phrase than "she has a target on her back" because they're usually safer than people without targets on their back and really that makes no sense. Keith looks for divine guidance after his tribe has spoken: Keith, stop blowing up God's phone. God has bigger problems than which boat you take to eventually get sent home anyway. But my favorite gem was when she likened the episode title ("One of us is going to win") to the scene in A League of Their Own where Madonna changes "Some of yous are going home" to "Some of them are going home" upon seeing small-town Dottie's mental fortitude and catching skills: Careful Kelly, someone you're underestimating might seriously outplay you. Like one day soon when the-183rd-out-of-190-most-popular station Anchorman and his friend David the Complaint Sponge remind everyone of all the times they themselves said you were a big target, and convince them that it's actually their idea to get you out.
  3. Affectation implies she's choosing to speak like that, so I'd disagree. Accents don't have to be regional, if that's how she and others spoke in the place where she grew up that's her original accent. Sarah wasn't talking like that when she was sitting at restaurant speaking calmly with Michael's mom or when she wasn't fighting with Michael. She talks like that when she's losing her shit.
  4. Pretty sure this is subconscious for Sarah, like the way my original Brooklyn accent comes out but only if I'm a) liquored up or b) really angry, despite not living in Brooklyn for 20+ years and losing the regular accent not long after I left.
  5. Wayne admitted to Roland he'd never read the book before/while Amelia was alive. He also never knew about Amelia and Lucy's "children shud laugh" conversation until reading it in 2015.
  6. You don't want to know where those fingers have been.
  7. Scott, Mr. Wilson called. He wants his teef back.
  8. And fine as hell. No cabbage patch in Emmy's yard.
  9. She just stood outside the funeral home, stewing under a large Jesus Saves sign. So I took one for the team and rewatched. First Caitlin walked out of the room because Matt said it was bullshit that he never does anything she asks and doesn't support her. Then she started yelling from the doorway that he never does what she asks and hasn't for months, and he walked outside and came back (after a few minutes according to Coretta.) He sat down and Caitlin immediately left the room. He told Coretta he got out of prison and everything changed, and Caitlin yelled that he hadn't made any changes. He said he made a big change for her and she should pipe down and stop yelling over the barrier, and she stormed out and stood outside. Matt walked out and seemingly past her, and left. I have other issues with Caitlin's account of her relationship with her mom... 1, she acted like the two were estranged and didn't have a relationship when they met at the restaurant a few episodes ago- yet she was living with her mom before Matt left prison. 2, she said her mom kicked her out over Matt but pretty sure in E1 Caitlin moved out voluntarily because her formerly drug-addicted mom didn't want chronically drug-addicted Matt moving in with them.
  10. My recollection: he walked out and came back to sit and talk to them, then she got up off the couch and refused to sit with him/them. When he started talking to Coretta (?) Caitlin was taking potshots from the next room over and Matt finally told her to pipe down (which I can't fault him for, honestly something the younger me would say if my new girlfriend refused to sit in the same room as me but was talking shit from across the building in front of a perfect stranger) and Caitlin stormed out and never came back in. He finally left, and like the fool he is he left in her car. FWIW I think she says "Back up."
  11. Clint's parents don't have many compliments they can shower their son with, so "No Felonies" becomes a viable character strength.
  12. The P.O. would tell Sarah (Michael's wife by law) if she asked the details of his violation and arrest. Michael has no expectation of privacy/discretion from his parole officer. I would trust him/her far more than the P.A.s if I were Sarah, since she now knows they've been hiding this the whole time.
  13. He left the funeral home without her when she refused to talk to him. They only have one car, which is hers. When he left she reported her car stolen, so he was now driving a stolen vehicle. He didn't steal her car the way we think of stealing cars. The police probably picked him up right in the area of the funeral home, and she probably barely had enough time to pick up pizza/a change of clothes and make a hotel reservation before the call from jail. I don't feel sorry for Caitlin because I think she enjoys making a bed of shit then sleeping in it. Given plenty of options, she chooses the worst one then cries later about how she never had a choice.
  14. I think she meant Matt finally drove away without her after she refused to be near him/ talk to him/ look at him for 2 hours inside and outside the funeral home.. then she called to report the car stolen as soon as the key hit the ignition.
  15. He had her car. She reported it stolen and he got arrested. Not sure why she's shocked.
  16. Sarah's shocking discovery sends her racing to meet Megan. Tracie triggers Clint's epic meltdown. Scott & Lizzie unravel over a major blow-up. Marcelino stuns Brittany with a surprising offer. Caitlin gets a devastating call from Matt.
  17. No deep screengrab recon needed, @DarkRaichu... the runaway Amelia spoke with in 1990 was absolutely the same 2015 nun that delivered the news of Julie's death to Roland/Wayne. It's a long way from face tattoos to habits, but she found her way just as Julie did.

  19. He was the one with the arm around a girl that wasn't Kate. Oh no wait, that was Kate's husband Luke. [Fuck you, Luke.] I want Kate and Left Dude (the same gent who told Luke that Kate looks beautiful and not uncomfortable in her wedding gown) to have a weekend of utter hedonism after Decision Day. I believe Left Dude would whole-heartedly appreciate some snuggle kisses and clean countertops. Kate is to MAFS as Melissa Rycroft was to The Bachelor. Screw me once, shame on you/screw me twice, shame on me; they offered Rycroft The Bachelorette spot but she said um no you fucked me over too badly, put me on a different show with no love/marriage.
  20. I agree, I didn't get the impression they'd had a falling out so much as lost touch after Amelia's death. Wayne's ability to have a growing relationship to his daughter seemed to be deeply impacted by his involvement in the Purcell case, beginning with his terror at potentially losing Little Becca at Walmart and continuing through to the day Big Becca left the nest to go to college. I think Wayne lived most days scared that he'd seen Becca for the last time. Certainly he loved her to the best of his abilities, but memory parallels to Julie P. kept him from really respecting and encouraging her maturation. This is probably why she left the nest by 2000 miles and never came back, unlike Henry who stayed close to home/Dad (and who probably didn't live under as heavy a hand as Becca had growing up.) Becca didn't seem too resentful of her dad's overprotectiveness when she left for college; "You'll feel better when you're lifting something heavy" in response to his worrying was a cute nod to how much she knows and loves her father.
