Update from Emerald Princess for anyone who is interested.... Denied entry into Colombia this morning. Proceeding on to Florida to end cruise March 15. We were told that Princess is pausing global operations on all 18 cruise ships for sixty days impacting voyages departing March 12 to May 10. All ships out after March 17 will return to first suitable port and passengers will be returned home from there. Most passengers seem to be in good spirits even though they were disappointed about their Colombia excursions. We just want to get off this ship and return to Idaho post haste.

On the Panama cruise right now. In fact sitting in the locks waiting for the water to lower. We are on the Emerald Princess. These are the precautions they are taking: Must was hands at buffet before entering. Cannot use spoons or serving devices, must be served by crew. Must not take plate, handed to you by crew. Must use Purell when entering dining room. Yesterday we entered the port for Panama City. Captain announced that we would be boarded by medical team from Panama before we could leave ship. Thirty five medical people boarded and we weren't told what they did after arriving. I figure they checked the doctor's records, interviewed the doctor and looked around. We were then told we could go ashore and had to use tenders to get to shore (no pier). We were told to go down stairs to the boats. After ascending the stairs we were met by five uniformed, masked and armed Panamanian soldiers. After passing them we had our temperature taken by nurses wearing protective clothing and masks. Then onto the tenders.

I don't believe anyone except her doctor can tell them if there are any problems seen in the ultrasound. That is not done by a tech/medical assistant even if they see it for themselves. It seems that would be a diagnosis and that is done by a physician.

Maybe they are so highly rated because there isn't much else on in their time frame. Seems like some people just have to watch TV no matter how bad the content.

Adding my vote for the book Under the Banner of Heaven. What a bloody history that so called "religion" has. This book really explains how it all came about. It's hard to believe that so many took/take as gospel what LDS was founded on. It also points out how much they are taught that they are superior to us who are not LDS. Should be required reading.

Geoffrey is on QVC most every Sunday hawking everything he can come up with that is kitchen related. Maybe he will leave The Kitchen. Sunny is just too obnoxious. I think the show is running out of gas. Don't watch anymore. Agree with the Iron Chef thing, that is long over and done with.

The response you received was more than likely a response triggered on the word ''grilling". In my experience with sending emails to corporate/business your correspondence isn't read but is instead handled by a computer. This was my experience with one of the Senators in my state. Judging by the response I got from his office it had nothing to do with the content of the email. I had to enter something in the subject line and that was what triggered the response which had very little to do with my inquiry. This had to do with emails but if you sent a letter they may have scanned it and then keyed on grilling as one of the trigger words in your letter.

Don't you think that maybe they already have a buyer before they do the remodel? I think the decor in most of the homes is too specific to appeal to the general public. Perhaps they had planned to remodel and keep the firehouse all along.

I believe this show should be over at the end of this season because their story has been told and there isn't anything left that is interesting. I'm not sure why Amy keeps talking about being alone in the big house when her youngest and his fiancee are living with her. I don't see any spinoffs because there is nothing worth following from any of them. The have had their time at the trough and it's time to move on.

I'm sure they didn't choose the restaurant and it was all set up by production to have all the dishes brought out without selecting from the menu. Remember how the subway car was empty? It's easy to forget that most everything that happens on reality shows these days is planned and scripted. We are really just pawns as viewers and production knows it. I agree Alex is spoiled and his mother is doing him no favors by continuing it. Otherwise this is a nice little family and the parents are doing their best.
