I know we talked about this before, but how are the Game Day Girls and Abbey bear girls selected?

I think you’re right about the formations changing weekly. In that guy’s same story, Caroline was point at top when they’re in the Christmas uniform. And I remember when Bridget held point during the show a while back. The rotation is nice — I think it also gives us a glimpse into who K & J might consider for future points.

I suspect all cut DCCs were invited, unless they were cut for disciplinary/legal problems a la Erica.

If K and J were unhappy with the remaining TCCs, they should have taken a smaller squad. They’ve done it before.

Thanks for clarifying. With Covid and all, my sense of time is out of whack. I didn't remember this was Rachel's second year in that position. Can anyone remember if that position was actually ever referred to as point by Kelli/Judy? Or is that something that only we say?

I wouldn’t be surprised if Madeline M and Erin retire as well, especially since Erin lost show group, Madeline keeps getting criticized over her dancing and their BFF Taylor is leaving.

I assume positive intent from Kelli and Judy as well. I think they get more right than they get wrong. I don’t see them as mean girls — I just think they see the girls as disposable, just like every other manager in corporate America. Speaking of Cassie, though, the DCC IG showed her first tryout at prelims. Man, I’ve seen more rhythm from my drunk uncle at the family barbecue. She ultimately came into her own as a DCC, but she really shouldn’t have even made it out of prelims.

Neither do I. Makes her look older. But more than that ... the video makes me sad. Is she not dancing anymore at all? I want her to be dancing full-time.

My guess is Kat or Chandi, with Dani moved way up. Rachel will probably be on the floor in front. Here was last year's, in case people forgot (like me):

They both are killing it. Rachel is too low energy to be point. I never thought much of her dancing, but these Oxnard videos confirm it. If point isn’t Gina alone, it should be Gina and Amber based on dance ability.

I'm surprised a vet got cut from SG, considering there were so many open spots. I thought all the SG members left over from last year were fairly strong dancers. I can't imagine who it could be.

I think Gina is going to end up as G1.

I don’t know why she thought she would make it back. TPTB don’t seem to be fans of allowing the girls to return after a hiatus. Victoria, of course, would be the exception. Anyway, I agree with what someone said above — that Kelsey was probably looking to regain some of that DCC celebrity. Does she have a job or is she a full-time influencer? I hope they show the judges’ discussion about her.

Kat plays the airhead, but I definitely don’t think she actually is one. Her personality, though, is right up Kelli’s alley. Where we may see her as a ditz, I think Kelli just sees a bubbly personality, a la Victoria, Courtney Cook, etc. Kelli loves those types.

My guess is Lexie and that she’s pregnant.

The last video features Sage Greenhouse. Isn't that Mia's sister? I wonder if she's trying out.

Have ROTY and VOTY been selected?

I've always wondered how that works. Does CMT focus in those vets because K&J told CMT those girls might be cut? And if so, wouldn't those girls be tipped off that they're in danger? Or does CMT interview every vet to get them to say that?
