I wonder about this as well. I know Robin went from DCC to a broadcast job in Louisiana (?), but in my neck of the woods, being a pro dancer is not going to get you any journalism job unless you have a journalism or something similar degree and did related internships.

This show has been on forever. It’s been clear every year that these women are expected to live and breathe Cowboys. It’s not rocket science. If they don’t know take the time to know the ins and outs of the Cowboys, that’s on them. Asking the women non-dance related or gotcha questions doesn’t make Meredith or Brenda a bitch. They’re journalists — their job is to ask gotcha questions. Of anyone.

It's a jerk move because he's not "picking on someone his own size." He'd say that to a cheerleader, maybe one of the photographers, but he wouldn't get in a Cowboys player's face and say that. Punk move.

Did we ever find out who sat out Sunday's game? And is that person sitting out the entire game or just Thunderstruck?

I thought Rachel A sat out the first game. If other girls are taking turns sitting out, then can Kat and Meredith really be considered alternates? Be interesting to see if Meredith does sit. And how can those girls really improve if they’re not dancing all the time?

I’m not surprised Heather isn’t in the triangle - she’s never been a powerful dancer. We saw her being outdanced just this year during show group auditions.

I agree -- the haircut really makes her stand out now. I wonder if it's something she decided or if Kelli decided that. I bet it was Rachel's decision.

Cristi credits Holly for believing in her, so I wonder if she got her on the show. Also, two of the people credit for working with the show are now on "Basketball Wives LA" (don't judge me!), so I wonder if this will be a Viacom/VH1 production.

Well, count me as Team Stickers! I love all the guest choreographers and seeing how they rate the women. Even if Kelli doesn’t take their advice, it shows me how much of the team is based on Kelli’s opinion and who the really strong and weak dancers are. I like seeing the women in different styles of dance, too - there’s only so much sexy hips I can take. hope CMT continues to show these segments. That said, I do wonder what it does for the sisterhood when those who make the team find out that the GLs essentially voted against them. I would think there would be hurt feelings and mistrust.

He's not under a personal contract with them, though, and he's not an employee of the Cowboys. BTW, he responded to your criticism of him in his Instagram stories. 🙂

Rewatching the season reminded me of Kelli and Judy’s three big knocks against Gina: She didn’t seem to be a team player, she “looks like the Joker” when she smiles, and she looks “like she’s doing a different dance from everyone else.” I know there are several posters who agree with all three — I just didn’t remember those criticisms were made on the show. Now I definitely think the last two is what’s keeping her from point.

I noticed this, too. I think there was an episode recently where Judy asked what Taylor had for breakfast that morning and after Taylor responded, Judy got so tickled. I think she actually really liked her personality.

I never thought Dayton truly cared much about DCC, so Kelli’s question didn’t bother me. Of the three recent legacies who made the team (Vic, Cassie and Meredith), it seemed like all three were following their moms’ dreams. I don’t doubt that they wanted it, but it was clear that they were auditioning under heavy expectations from their mothers. To Shelly’s credit, she didn’t seem to burden Dayton with the same degree of expectations. I would like to see Madeline come back and make the team. Is it me or was Judy surprised that she was cut then? She kept throwing Kelli strange looks.

She has definitely gained, but she still looks good. Weight has always been a struggle for her, and not everyone can or should be a waif.

By her last year she was extremely heavy. I found it shocking too.

She must have been beautiful. I love the squad photo. It really allows us to see whose looks TPTB really love. I'm surprised they didn't give Rachel W. Tess's spot. I'm also surprised they didn't put Victoria in a more visible spot on one of the ends. Rachel A is bringing it!

I feel Jasmine was one who was robbed. I know folks here don’t care for her, but messing up on the choreo shouldn’t automatically get you cut as a vet, especially if you have a three year body of work that obviously worked for the TPTB. I could see if she was outdanced, but it didn’t sound like that was why they cut her. Sometimes you just don’t have a great day on a day when you needed to be at your best. Like Jalyn with this upcoming show group audition, I guess.
