I thought Jojo was a brunette and kind of likable. I’m not sure why Amanda got so many followers but plenty of skinny blondes from the show don’t have as many followers. I couldn’t stand Amanda. If I had Instagram, I’d only follow for a short time to catch up on the drama, then delete when they inevitably become irrelevant. Maybe people followed Amanda to see the train wreck after she chose that sweaty douchebag on BIP. There’s no way Tyler likes Hannah as much as he’s letting on. He’s just playing the game hopefully or just being nice. If not, I agree with you and I will end up finding him much less attractive than I do now. Stupidity isn’t cute. I guess we’ll see if he gets back together with her and he’ll lose our respect.

I noticed that her parents don’t do the “-ink” bullshit. They have a pretty normal southern accent and they leave off the g’s, ie thinkin’, sayin’, drinkin’, etc. I made a point to listen for these types of words not only when her mother spoke but also her father. Neither speak like Hannah. I don’t know where Hannah gets this “-ink” crap but it’s very annoying and I’m not sure why her parents didn’t ever correct her. Maybe she picked up the habit later because she thinks it’s cute. It’s not. She also loves to talk with the vocal fry that I hate. I don’t think @JudyObscure was shaming her anyway but Jade posed once for Playboy, if I remember correctly. I don’t think they spread the legs in that magazine. But the premise of the show is not necessarily to sleep with anyone besides the one they’re going to pick. And if they do, they don’t tell. Kaitlin got a lot of hate for sleeping with Nick when everyone knew she was going to pick the other guy. Luke was led to believe that he was the one and was also led to believe that Hannah was waiting until marriage or at least engagement. Let’s consider what she told Colton on his season. She said she wished she had never had sex so she could be a virgin for her husband. So if Luke thought he was F1 because of what Hannah was saying behind the scenes and also thought she had the same views about sex, he casually mentioned what he thought was a given. He basically raised a hypothetical question, not thinking Hannah had already had sex with Peter and whomever else. So she was lying to Luke about who she was and Jed didn’t tell Hannah about gf before the season. I can’t hate Jed about this anymore if Hannah is getting away with it. This is the first season that I remember where sex was treated so casually and the lead wasn’t roasted for even mentioning the possibility of sex in the fantasy suites. The show owes Kaitlin a big apology for making her the villain, while Hannah is some kind of hero for spreading her legs. She’s not a hero and she wasn’t slut shamed so she can stop saying it now.

Even if Tyler pretends to date Hannah for a minute, he may still get a future bachelor gig, like Nick and Arie. Maybe he’ll do DWTS first.

Oh, very good. This gives me hope for Tyler once he’s out of the bubble. I was just referring to the fact that even if you see her in person, from far away she appears to be very pretty, nice skin and hair. Then you get close enough to see her red nose and weird eyebrows and she opens her mouth and you’re like, “well it was nice meeting you. ✌️✌️.”

Hannah is one of those “good from far but far from good” types. If Tyler saw all her edited pics on Tinder, I think he would have given a right swipe, but I don’t think she could have pulled off sounding smart enough for him to get past just messaging her. I doubt they would have ever gone on a date in the real world.

Why are people so excited about it? She dumped him afterwards which means he didn’t exactly rock her world. Four times and then dumped for someone else? Kinda seems like he had some difficulties.

Chris Harrison said on a podcast that they picked Colton because he was a 26ish year old virgin, ex-pro football player, and they just couldn’t pass it up because it made for good tv. Basically he was too good looking and successful to be a virgin and people would tune in to see if he gets laid. I understand that somewhat. It’s all for ratings. I don’t understand Hannah getting the bachelorette gig. She was nowhere close to a favorite on Colton’s season, she seemed dumb as a rock, and she had drama with other girls, almost to the point of villain if they would have edited it that way. Then she gets chosen. I don’t get it. CH said that Hannah’s season had the best ratings so far as compared to past bachelorettes and they aren’t going to tell us who the Bachelor will be until BIP because they may choose a guy from BIP. I think it will be Tyler if he dodges this bullet.

Which means that she knew BEFORE the fantasy suite that she was not going to pick Peter because he didn’t go by the script, and yet still had sex with him knowing she would dump him afterwards.

I just found out I can’t watch BIP on Hulu unless I upgrade to Hulu Live. I’m so disappointed! Is it worth it? Somebody make my decision for me.

At least Luke wasn’t purposely cruel. He made some mistakes but he always tried to make it right and I don’t think anything came from a bad place. He was just kind of dumb and out of his little Christian bubble. Obviously he didn’t know the guys would be so butt hurt about things like the rugby incident. It’s a tough sport and he took it a tad overboard, but jeez, the whining from the other guy started to irritate me.

And now he’ll play martyr because all the guys and Hannah attacked him for his beliefs and for standing up for the word of god. At least that’s how they’ll spin it. 🙄🙄🙄

Narcissistic traits w/ social media influence, yes. But if we’re going to say someone has an actual real personality disorder, it’s probably better to know what the actual symptoms are and have a real discussion. Luke seems less like a narcissist than Jed, in my non-professional opinion. I’d get behind some symptoms of schizophrenia because of shower Jesus before I could agree with NPD symptoms in Luke.

I think people throw around the word “narcissist” way too much.

The medication for malaria is just a preventative antibiotic. It can’t be taken long-term according to my doctor. That’s why people die. I think he was just really tired from travel and probably annoyed that she didn’t pick him up. I’ll be honest, I’m not sure how my mood would hold up under those circumstances. I see that corey is a pussy ass but that’s only because he puts up with Evelin. She walks all over him and that’s unattractive but I don’t see that he’s a bad person or anything. Just a doormat.

I thought he said thank you very nicely to the grandmother. Evelin is one of the meanest I have ever seen on this show. Malaria is a real thing and it kills people. So she can say she doesn’t care because the mosquitos don’t bite HER, but if they bite Corey, he could die. It’s not so much about expecting things to be different because he’s so special. Many local people use nets. Corey doesn’t want to die and frankly, Evelin should care more about his safety. An acquaintance of mine died a year after moving to Tanzania because he got Malaria. Moshi was also a poor village but we could still find mosquito nets. Even the locals used them sometimes and I met several whose family members died from malaria, so the locals know quite well how serious it is and they take as much precaution as anyone else. Corey’s fear is valid and she dismissed him because she is an abusive bitch. It really got me when she told him to go home if he didn’t like it. She could have directed him to where he could get spray or a net but she chose to be a raging bitch. Like usual.

I hope someone can remember a dark haired woman on The Bachelor some years ago, got sent home and insisted that the man was making a mistake. She turned back a couple of times, crying, saying she knew he was making a mistake. Can anyone recall who that was? And how is that okay, but Luke feeling the same and expressing it under pressure from production to come back and voice his feelings, is absolutely crazy and not okay? I bet production called Luke and asked him to come back, not the other way around. They probably told him that she said she still had feelings. I was a bartender at a gay club and it’s a very common phrase there too. Yaaas, Queen! So, here’s the rest of my issue with the Luke situation. I am a non-practicing Jewish person. I love being Jewish but I don’t believe in the religion, just the culture. However, I have some family who are very religious Christians for some reason. The Luke kind. It’s sad because they feel very guilty about every little sin. They are harder on themselves than anyone else would ever be on them. During MTA, Luke reminded me so much of them. He begged forgiveness for things he shouldn’t have had to be forgiven for considering we all have the right to practice the religion we want and he is a hardcore, saw Jesus in the shower, Christian, who believes in abstinence until marriage, and men being head of household. Why are we accusing him of being some kind of abuser because he believes in the word of his god? Most people in the US are some form of Christian and believe the Bible is the word of god and should he practiced as written. He has every right to want a woman who agrees with him on this. I believe Hannah lied to him OFF camera because she wanted him just like she lied to Colton about wishing she was still a virgin. Then when she couldn’t stay off of Peter, SHE felt embarrassed that he called her out on what she previously stated, ie that she was on the same page as far as fantasy suites. She got all defensive because she was guilty. Luke tried to get along with the other guys btw, but they weren’t having it. They just didn’t like him and that’s fine. But they did isolate him and bully him when he tried to make things right. That’s got to mess with you some. Then editing always shows the worst. Not the parts where he was getting along with Garrett and then Garret telling Luke he was just being fake nice to him. That must have hurt Luke. Any one of these guys could have gotten a villain edit. And since when do we hate Christian doctrine in America? I mean, I do. But I find it weird that Mr Blondie born again virgin from a previous season is just fine but Luke ( same guy but dumber) is being called every name in the book. I guarantee most of us have a friend or loved one who believes the man should be the head of household because of Christianity and probably doesn’t want his girl spreading herself thin with other men. Luke wasn’t trying to hurt Hannah. He’s just a Christian man. I think he would have been the nicest guy in the house if he didn’t have to defend every move he made because the others were jealous. And boohoo, little butt hurt what’s his name got hurt on a rugby field. Well what the hell did they expect playing that game with a bunch of competitive men? People are too sensitive.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. I’d rather watch Nicole wander around the desert for weeks, failing miserably to get some of that sweet, sweet Azan action, than a single episode of The Family Chantal. I just can’t with them. They are so fake. Cant stand either family, Chantal's or Pedro’s. I will never understand why TLC thought this would be a good spin-off. Second choice would have to be Loren and Alexei. She has Tourette’s and could bring some awareness for the syndrome, Israel is a fascinating place, they’re funny on Pillow Talk, Loren is just dramatic and spoiled enough to hate watch without being Pow over it, Alex is incredibly likable, his family is cool, etc. Third choice David and Annie. She is adorable, he has some family drama but not enough to make me go insane, they’re both really interesting on Pillow Talk, and I’m genuinely interested in how they are doing since his friend cut him off. This Chantal and Pedro crap has reached a new level of insanity. It is no longer interesting because there’s no end in sight. I hate watching anyone get bullied and the in-laws are so terribly mean, it disgusts me. I honestly get tense when I see their families come on screen and therefore, for the sake of my blood pressure, I CANNOT watch full episodes of them and would not want to give them ratings anyway. Same reason I don’t watch Jerry Springer. It’s just too much. The only spin-off that would piss me off more than Chantal and Pedro would be Pow and Roos. I have to fast forward through them because I can’t stand her. I borderline hate Pow. It’s pretty intense. At least I don’t FF through Chantal and Pedro but I certainly don’t want full episodes. I hope it’s canceled quickly.

Great. Let’s start saying women have orgasms when they’re raped. Next we’ll say that if it’s legitimate rape a woman’s body has ways to shut that whole thing down so she doesn’t get pregnant. I don’t see men carrying rape whistles and pepper spray when they walk to their cars at night because of all the women that might rape them. But most women are legitimately scared of men. We are not on equal footing when it comes to rape. And this is way off topic. The point was, Matt had sex because he wanted to, not because he was trying to spare anyone’s feelings.
