  1. Colt acts like he learned about humans in a book.
  2. ...and then she probably turned to Production and asked, "what's a resume?"
  3. Larry wouldn't eat the lechon because, like many Americans, he was grossed out by the sight of where food comes from. The "pork" still had a face, feet, and a tail. If it had been processed into a McRib, he'd be fine. Most rational adults can get past this, but Larry was also paranoid about getting sick & wouldn't relent.
  4. It sounds to me like Nicole's family has done this OVER and OVER and OVER and OVER, and now they're just resigned to her attitude. She is SO stubborn that trying to reason with her is like trying to reason with a brick wall. She know how to manipulate & uses May to her advantage. As was mentioned before, she'll send her money off to Azan and then whine to mommy & daddy that she needs money for gas to take May to the doctor or to get to work. Or she'll threaten to never let them see May. She's just a manipulative bitch of a manatee. And that's not fair to manatees.
  5. I think Elizabeth said he could work, but he couldn't find work.
  6. But Kody doesn't DO pork, remember? It's in the BIBLE.
  7. Oh, Tabbygirl521, you nearly made me snort coffee out my nose at work!
  8. I agree, but if, in their religious view, there is no difference between a "legal" marriage and a "spiritual" one, WHY DID KODY & ROBYN GO ON A HONEYMOON AFTER THEIR "LEGAL" MARRIAGE???
  9. I agree with this. Whatever happened to Rebecca, it seems to be an event, not a long, drawn-out process. But, then again, maybe Miguel was looking after her, hiding her condition from the rest of the family & something happened to him. The family learning of Rebecca's condition all at once could be an event. Or Rebecca's condition led to something happening to Miguel. So many possibilities. Tess not being ready to see her yet seemed odd. And Toby wondering if the family wanted him there seems to foreshadow Kate no longer being in the picture. Aargh! When is the next season???
  10. I know the Brown clowns are their own made-up religious sect, and the AUB probably doesn't do it because it could be used as evidence, but doesn't mainstream LDS keep records of temple sealings and perhaps issue certificates? It would seem to me that a fambly gift of a fancy calligraphy "spiritual marriage" certificate would make a nice Welcome To The Fambly gift for the new side piece. In addition to the "colada" ring.
  11. That's some desperation right there. All they're going to get are nosy neighbors and lookyloos.
  12. I can see Kody wanting a piece of Hannah's hat empire, but I CANNOT see Hannah giving up any of her independence. She appears to enjoy her life too much. Imagine this, though. Mitch would be his wife's step brother; his mother's son AND son-in-law; Kody's step son and son-in-law. Aspyn would be married to her own step brother! AAAAH!
  13. I like this idea! While we wait for the rest of the season, they should replay these episodes ala MTV's "pop up video."
  14. I believe the $625 was for the whole parcel. Whether that's 4 of the 9 houses or for all 9 lots. Each house was bought for ~$400K, and Kodoofus thought they'd sell for ~$700K, netting them a profit of ~$300K X 4. At this point they'll be lucky to break even! Tee hee!
  15. Does anyone else remember, waaaaay back when they first moved to LV, that Kody & Janelle went camping? In Las Vegas?? Actually, it was in Lake Las Vegas, a bit out of town, but that's the little getaway that Janelle wanted with Kody. Camping. In Las Vegas. It happens!
  16. Perfect title. I'm so sick of these clowns. I started watching last night's show, and then after about 10 minutes just deleted the whole thing. I get more enjoyment out of the snark found here!
  17. Here's my theory. After Kevin's accident, Jack realized the importance of that brother relationship. He decided to finally give away his reminder of the tragedy - his necklace from Viet Nam. He gave it to Kevin. He had every intention to reach out to Nicky, but he died soon afterward & never got the chance.
  18. You see, nobody understands how much the catfish hurt her and the fambly. So she has to find other victims to PROVE to them that it's all the catfish's fault. Not that Meri was looking to escape.
  19. My guess is that the splashy (ha!) wedding is a requirement to be on the show. It's all for entertainment & market share, don't ya know.
  20. I agree. I just don't think the thought crossed Asuelu's mind to send any kind of assistance. It wasn't malicious or intentional. It just never occurred to him.
  21. I'm waiting to hear how Asuelu does during his first Utah winter.
  22. I read that Shaun doesn't watch the show. And I believe it. Remember that they hadn't even been broadcast when the "tell all" was filmed. Shaun is hired because she's presentable (looks nice on camera) and literate (can read a teleprompter). She is not "asking" questions but "reading" them.
  23. You can search Clark County marriage licenses online. There is no record of "Ashley Marston" or "Jay Smith" in recent years. I do believe the license must be issued in the same county as the marriage takes place or intends to. (I'm not a creep internet stalker -- really! I recently got interested in genealogy & found not only a record of my marriage license but those of my uncle from the 70's.)
