While those scenarios are fun and I've read fics with them, in all honesty, I don't find it that believable. Oliver and Felicity are not a very demonstrative couple in public. Their closeness and attraction is more than obvious, but I can only remember them kissing in front of others a few times - Barry telling Oliver to kiss Felicity in S4 crossover, proposal, on Lian Yu in 523 - and those were all tame kisses. They actually come off as pretty private to me and so the one time period where I find it completely believable for them to have had sex in a (semi-)public space is the summer of love, when they were on such a high. And that would be during their travles, not with their nearest and dearest barging in. Which is a long winded way of saying that I find them being interrupted in their own, or one of their homes the believable scenario.

Sadly, I can tell from personal experience that the surgery is not necessarily a permanent fix. Ten years after mine I found out I needed glasses again for driving at night and watching TV when my eyes get tired. I also ended up repurposing my sister's old frames, which I liked and they fit me better than anything I found in stores. For those who would like a change for Felicity, what sort of frames would you chose? I really don't imagine her in anything but this style, like maybe purple, but that's as far as my imagination goes.

While I get the complaint, I really like her in these frames, so I can't say I'm waiting for her to change them. Also, I really can't think of a fictional character who changed glasses during a show's run at the moment. Alex Dunphy, but the actress was growing and grew out of the frames, plus they kept them dark rimmed, to hold on to the visual.

I'm pretty laid back as to which type of fic are out there. I'm not going to read a vast majority of them, but I'm chill about others having their kinks. Where I draw the line is incest and Oliver/Slade. That is just so, SO wrong. Slade skewered his mother right in front of him! Those fics I do find offensive.

I scan the whole tag. There have been good friendship fics I read, not that I can recall which ones they were at the moment. This was before I signed up and started bookmarking stuff.

Scrolling through the Arrow tag on AO3, I can honestly say I find nothing more horrifying than seeing Oliver Queen/Thea Queen.

As far as I recall, him and SA being the only ones safe was the official line and that was simply because they were the only two shown in the flash forward. If for some reason Cisco had come over instead, it would have been, Everyone aside from Oliver and Cisco could be in the grave.

Have there been reports of the actor filming past the premiere? I assume he will show up afterwards, but I still don't see him being that central.

I like the way your mind works. :) Does desperate, hungry kissing count as romantic in MG's book? Frankly, I'd be able to live with some desperate hughing and clutching to each other, Oliver kissing Felicity's hair/neck while she tries to climb atop/inside of him. They just need to set it up right, and the reunion can still be excellent sans kissing.

Not that it has much to do with the topic at hand, but I love that scene, and have always loved the episode even though it was controversial at the time.

Pretty cute, but I don't get the timeline to be honest. It's implied in the beginning that Thea was down in the lair, isn't it? She didn't come down until well into season 3, and she certainly wasn't chill about Roy's involvement with Arrow in S2.

This is freaky. Ray totally looks like Ray DiMeo from Speechless grown up there. Are the other shows' deleted scenes cropping up? Because I'd really like some of Arrow's even if they turn out to suck.

@tv echo, it's got to be 509. That was the holiday themed episode, it started with the party where Felicity introduced Billy to Oliver.

I've never read it, nor His Girl Wednesday for the simple reason that I don't feel like reading a 50-chapter fic with a 50-chapter sequel.

Do these comics usually have so much inner monologue? Because that's a lot up there. I like the perspective on the fire escape.

I see there's a completed While You Were Sleeping AU on AO3. Has anyone dipped their toe in that? Because I unabashedly love While You Were Sleeping and it doesn't seem impossible to use that situation as a starting point for these characters. Though I see no Dig in the tags, which I don't get if you have a cast of characters.

That's why I want to see it in all its unedited glory. :D And there's the bonus of the yawning really big.

I only read the transcript tv echo posted, but he sounds like he's on something, particularly when he talks about following Steve on SM and repeatedly talking about his (SA's) kids. Um, you might want to sharpen up on your perception, dude, there's one kid. I imagine it only sounds weirder when you actually hear it. Now I really want a video from filming a scene like the one with Barry and Kara that was posted recently. :)
