I know. It's symptomatic. I probably wouldn't be that bothered by it if it only were Donna. It's pretty much everybody at this point. Maybe Moira's escaped the curse, but I can't claim to be sure on that front.

Frankly, this sounds more like Oliver and Laurel what with the lack of chemistry, being shoved down people's throats and being proclaimed meant to be or whatever. Definitely by Sara in S2 and possibly (probably) Tommy in S1.

I cannot think of a single character who hasn't been thrown under the bus multiple times. All the times. But I don't actually have a problem with that scene. I took it as a shit, that actually worked, now what moment. If you or @TrueMyth could link me to the comment we discussed earlier, the one the fic writer complained about, I'd be curious to read it.

Additionaly, it bothers me how the show couches these things. Donna convinces Lance to do something stupid? Donna is a hypocrite? For me, those are not reasons to be burnt at the stake. They're flaws and human. I would just like the writers to not present them as 100% right and go into WHY Donna is a hypocrite for three seconds.

To me it looked like SA checked out when the questions weren't directed straight at him. Oh, you're asking them? I'm just gonna catch a few zzzzs then. Not that it matters in the scheme of things, but Thea still hasn't turned 22. She will be sometime in the first part of the season. I don't really remember which S1 episode it was that she turned 18 off the top of my head.

They were in the lead by more than a million votes (ranging between 1.3 and 1.4 million all day yesterday), so unless something of mammoth proportions happened, they won.

Are you talking about this one? Because GA seems to be placed slightly more towards the front than Supergirl.

A few people on Twitter have floated the theory that Oliver gets kidnapped like he did in the pilot. With the repurposed original lair and blood on SA's dress shirt, it certainly seems plausible. And with DR in the production office, could it be that it's Spartan who comes to save the mayor? Oliver can certainly afford to draw attention even less than in the pilot and he's not using the same methods he did then. I'd find it beyond awesome if Felicity and Dig organized a swift extraction while the newbies are adrift. Or even better, if they were like, mayor, schmayor, I don't even bother to learn their names anymore.

Is it possible he's only read the first two episodes so far? Both of those are directed by Bamford.

I don't mind Supergirl being in the middle either. She's the only clear female lead so good for her. But the way the legends are grouped on that one makes the thing seem off balance. I feel like the right side is going to tip over.

So, I've given in while waitig for the fics I'm following to get updated and started reading City of Fallen Heroes. Why, why do I do this to myself? The first five chapters, which I have read so far, are kind of... Great. But also painful. The concept of five years back flashbacks being used for Felicity, but in the future is well executed, the characters are not exactly who they are now given this is taking place in 2026 but they make sense. I was worried about the kids, but they haven't even showed up in the present day yet, and the plethora of new characters. That last one got dealt with rather summarily in the last part. And now I just want to consume it and have it be updated yesterday and... Guh.

so there is some SWAT action in the first two episodes. Makes sense to introduce a new cop character. Two things of note. One, PB was driving to the set with WH yesterday and she was wearing that same top. I assume Lance can't stay away even if he isn't on the force at the moment. Two, I don't know whether that's a skirt or shorts on WH, but regardless it seems really, really short for the mayor's office. You know for whom it would be a totally appropriate business outfit? A night club manager. Stupid other shows taking over sets. :/

Didn't he say he DID know, but the audience would have to wait until season 5 to find out?
