To be fair, he did specify that Robert wasn't a cold-blooded murderer. I hated the outfit as well. First I only saw the white collar and that worked magnificently with the deep red lipstick, but then just, no. It doesn't feel like Felicity at all. If the top was a separate piece, I could see Thea wearing it, but with tight leather pants or something. Since the episode wasn't that engaging, I just kept waiting for tomorrow so that Felicity could change, but zilch. While on the subject of wardrobe, I can't really say I liked Thea's light leather jacket either. Ditto on Zoe's presence there. I don't get it. Salty Lance and Salty Anatoly were utterly enjoyable. Even if I don't really get Anatoly throwing in with Oliver's plan to save SC when he's a) a gangster, b) has actual dealings in SC that he can expect the Hood to try to thwart. It would be funny if Oliver doesn't end up needing Anatoly's wig because he misses the boat Anatoly sends while being occupied with Kovar and his men. It won't happen, but I think it would be cool if Oliver's decoy stay becomes a lot longer than planned. The boredom would give him time to brush up on his skills. I love how Thea comes back after Chase is revealed ass Prometheus but there is still no mention of Oliver being kidnapped and tortured for a week. And her time away really didn't do her much good, did it? She was still of the same mindset, being doomed to repeat her parents' mistakes. To be honest, she was bugging me with dragging Oliver back into the past for a good portion of the episode, just as he was trying to break ties. It's great that he didn't get pulled in, though. And kudos on Thea calling Robert Dad, as she should.

Ah, so Chase got thrown into the ARGUS prison to be able to free BS. Got it.

As I remember it, it wasn't the episode, but Oliver's birthday that started with blood, and not with cake. That can take place earlier in the episode.

I went to check, it's Yao Fei. Nice catch, @Morrigan2575. Starts at 0:22.

They're setting the bar for the men in their lives pretty low. And who is this Ollie person Steve mentions?

Why can't Oliver just wear a balaclava?

Edit: @Soulfire beat me to the punch. ?

I seem to have a knack for coming across Felicity's crossovers to The Flash. First it was her solo visit in 103, now it was the time she came with Ray. Alas, I didn't just casually change channels to the big crossover. And my God, I didn't even watch five minutes in total of this one, and once again I came away with the impression that Joe is a complete patriarchal prick. He forbids Eddie to tell Iris about Barry, as father trumps boyfriend in his eyes. And Eddie wants to know when that's gonna change. When he becomes her husband. Oh. My. God. All that was missing was a reference to a goat being exchanged.

I wouldn't rule out the line being in the script at some point. They had, Did you ask Oliver to come back because he only comes with my fingers?, or some variation thereof in 401. Unless it's played very jokingly and lightly, I hope it's been cut as well.

Well, there really IS a first time for everything. I went looking for that scene on Youtube. The 'I love' you is there. Other stuff I noticed is that Oliver looked so much better then, like he was more rested and his hair is about half a foot shorter. Also, when Laurel is chanting Ollie and Sara, she sounds like there's a malfunction.

I haven't the faintest either.

Have a kid be missing for so long isn't really Arrow's MO, I think. They played fast and loose with Artemis, but she's an older teen. I don't think they'll do that with a 10-year-old.

MG's latest batch of non-spoilery answers from Tumblr: Shocker. There's another reason for them not to have a kid on the show. He also posted script pages of Laurel's last scene in 508 for those interested.

I went with the simplest explanation there. John Junior was raised by vigilantes, heroes and government agents. William never became a part of that world, i.e. he was never really a part of Oliver's life.

I thought their scenes were great. I just wish Danny and Riley got the same treatment in their wedding episode. Speaking of, I'm shocked her mom gave them the fancy stroller after she wasn't invited to the wedding. How many episodes is this season supposed to have? Their seasons generally have about 20, I think.

This body is actually a pretty great move on Chase's part. Not only has he convinced Oliver that he is a trigger happy murderer, now he's serving him up proof that the father who set him on this path is the same way. It's like Oliver can't escape being the same psycho Chase is. Nicely played, villain. I'm also starting to think this is why he trapped Oliver and Felicity. He just swung by wherever to get a drop on the kid. He didn't kidnap him or anything and of course William doesn't mention a strange dude approaching him and calling him by his real name to his mother, so when Oliver checks in, everything seems to be in order. Maybe they even set up some surveilance for the kid, but not Samantha and then takes her in 522 or 523.

It felt like the show gave more weight to Riley and Bonnie's in this episode than Danny and Riley's last week when they got married. That ending was a great punchline. I don't get what she sees in him either. I mean, Tucker?! Hee.
