By silliest I meant something that left you to view yourself as beingr silly. Not reading stuff about characters or settings you're not interested in seems rational to me. Why would you spend your time on something you're not interested in? I certainly eliminate plenty of stuff just by reading the tags. But in this instance it's probably something that didn't affect the plot in any way, but I just couldn't get past the fact that the writer (I assume unknowingly) set Lian Yu in the direction of Europe instead of Asia. It certainly paints an image.

What's the silliest reason you've given up on a fic? Because I just started reading one which states that Lian Yu is in the Atlantic and I just couldn't go on. I'm feeling very rigid here, but I can't help myself.

@tv echo, thank you for taking the time and putting in the effort to do these transcripts. The first crossover is my favorite as well, because unlike the following ones the primary goal was to have fun. I have to disagree with SA about Oliver not being able to relax. He was so relaxed in 401 that he could have led a spiritual retreat.

One, I'd be completely fine with that scenario. Two, it could be something used for the next proposal, moving in together or something like that without having the script written. If SA had said he'd like Oliver to say that if and when a particular scenario happens, I don't see why the writers wouldn't humor him. It wouldn't be changing the storyline, just adding a little beat.

Dig grew up in the Glades, didn't he? And he got out thanks to the military, right? I know he rode the subway as a kid with his dad because that helped uncover the Undertaking, but for some reason I got the impression that his mom was widowed and he played Andy's role model. I hvae no idea if this part comes from the show or if it's just a headcanon that solidified in me. Regardless of the kid, I don't think we're escaping that. By not rushing, I just think no proposal or hints of it in the premiere and it's very possible a wedding happens around crossover/winter finale time.
