  1. If crazy Ashley is crazy then I am too. I'd rather hang out with any and all animals in Mexico than any of these people.
  2. http://www.tmz.com/2015/07/28/bachlorette-ruins-finale-nick-viall-kaitlyn-look-alike-photo?adid=TMZ_Search_Results I saw this on TMZ the other day that seems to make Nick being all heartbroken look kind of fake. I mean, obviously the filming was long finished but it reinforces - to me, anyway - that Nick isn't the great guy he makes out to be. It could be innocent but the guy had one more day to go.
  3. I actually find this clip embarrassing as a Canadian. I don't know anyone that speaks like that. I normally enjoy John Oliver but this one seemed like a miss to me. The only person name Gord I know is the lead singer of The Hip. I get that it's funny to a lot of people but with this article, I have to disagree with Tara and her generalizations of how Canadians really are.
  4. Aw crap :) there goes my theory. Oh well. I really need to pay better attention.
  5. Maybe someone with a better memory can clarify, but I remember Mary taking a pill in front of someone (Quinn maybe). If toxicology is done and there is mention of Mary being off her meds, Quinn (or whoever was in that scene) can say that she saw her taking pills. If they are going to go the route of blaming it on Shay with evidence, I see this the way it going. To me, it's all on Shay. Mary would have had different reaction to the day if he meds hadn't been tampered with and no matter how much Shay tries to throw the blame elsewhere, none of what happened would have occurred if Shay hadn't switched her pills. I was very lucky in that I never saw 'wait for the last 30 seconds' promo so the ending did shock me. At first, I thought they were going to go a different route with the ex by saying he never did hit her and that it was all in Mary's head, but then they had him just...wow he took some really low shots.
  6. Does anyone know what song they are using in the Space promos??
  7. What the hell was that? I get that they were taking a different route than the French original but come on!! The hoard? The crazy skin blotches that Camille and Victor had? So, Simon sees a flood happen but it's just a vision. Mrs. Goddard and the crazy dynamite (yeah, don't think I didn't have a LOST flashback). Sure she didn't want Simon seeing anything in her trunk even though she opened it up right in front of him. When the scene turned to Camille and the teen having sex, I have to agree with the above poster, that was some serious bouncing going on for someone who I'm under the impression hadn't had sex yet. There's no pattern - sex is ok for Lena with Adam but not for Camille. Victor doesn't seem to age but Peter isn't the teen he was when his buddy shot him. Am I to assume that each returned has a different set of rules associated with them? And then the stranger coming to town asking about the power surges and outages?? I shouted at my TV 'you're in the wrong city, go to France, that's where the power stuff is happening'. The first thing I thought of was introducing a new character at this stage was a no-no. And how did she find out Peter was in jail? Ugh, this frustrated me in a way that I'd like to tell Carlton Cuse I'm disappointed. There was nothing in this finale that made me wonder what was going to happen next. The only thought in my mind when the credits began to roll was 'When does the second season of the French version start?'
  8. No, Nikki didn't fall down the stairs. Her and Julie got in the police car with Victor, drove around in circles and ended up at the Helping Hand after Victor managed to get Toni to shoot himself. She's scared of Victor but in the French version, there was nothing about Victor killing the other women who took him in (or the people around them). Peter's equal in the French version never came out as dead. Not to say it couldn't happen in the new season but there was nothing to indicate he was dead. Just a guy who was involved in Victor's death way back when. I just finished a rewatch of the French version this afternoon and the whole series held my attention. This US version seems like it's going off track just to be different and not do the original material justice.
  9. After watching this episode, the reveal that Peter is a returned is pretty much all I can remember. And it was a pretty crappy reveal. Blowing up the dam? Really? That whole story line in the French version was done so much better. Well, most of the stories since they deviated from the original were much better. Maybe it's because I just finished a rewatch of the original but the French did it so much better.
  10. Official Synopsis. Sounds like it'll be an interesting season. http://clonespiracy.tumblr.com/post/112622228721/orphan-black-season-3-official-synopsis
  11. I really liked this episode. For a minute I was scared it was going to get weird at the conference but I'm happy they didn't drag out the impersonator. When the show started this evening, I found myself thinking how much nicer this opening was compared to last week's stoning and then Nora asks a hooker to shoot her. It's a good thing these ladies are proficient with their firearms. I haven't liked the changes they've made with regards to what was in the book and what they're showing but I agree with stillshimpy in that this week was good. I thought the episode was well done and did a better job with keeping me interested in the series than some other episodes have.
  12. The pantsless man was speaking Greek and I think there was a better way to show he was crazy than to go walking around naked from the waist down. If I had all my photos stolen by the GR, I'd break into their houses and steal all their white clothes and cigarettes. Assholes. If things continue to go the way they're going, I'm not going to enjoy it, no matter how many crazy Greek men walk around without pants!!
  13. It's too bad none of these guys watched The Americans. They had a whole scene on how to fool a lie detector. I think they also treat Andi like a toy that not their favorite, but not something they want anyone else playing with.
  14. I want to know who the originals are!! Whose DNA did they use for Project Leda and Castor? How did they decided? Was the original female a doctor or someone in the organization - to me it makes sense because the women are smart - and the original male a high ranking officer? Not to say the males aren't smart. I'm just going from what we've seen so far and while Mark shows he's got some brains there, there's an intelligence with the women. I'd also like to see some of the plot points wrapped up over the course of another season. I loved Lost but I can't do that again. I need closure. I agree with a lot that's already been said. No more kidnapping of Kyra or Helena. I'd like to see Angie fall down the rabbit hole and wish she'd listened to everyone who said to keep her nose out of it all. I'm not sure if I want things to go public but the one thing I really want to see (either in season 3 or the final season) is all the clones being individuals. The way I see it is they're all individuals no matter what their DNA says and none of them had a say in their creation but they're all people. No patents or special rules.
  15. After watching the show 3 times now and reading a lot of the comments that have been posted on various sites, I have a better appreciation and understanding of the Tony storyline. This isn't something I know very much about. While it wasn't my favorite of the season, I don't think it was anywhere near bad. Something I noticed on rewatch was during Tony's message to Beth, he said something about Paul being a ghost. In the next scene, Rachel is on the phone finding out that there are no records of where Paul has gone. No flights, passport checks, credit cards etc... Paul has become a ghost in a sense. I wonder if Rachel will try to dig deeper to find out about him?
  16. I call my cat Meathead and she looks at me as if she's saying 'Do not call me this'. With the accent. My cat's that good.
