I’m confused about Daphne and Simon’s fake romance. Why are the eligible girls and their mothers leaving him alone now? Suitors are now flocking to Daphne so it’s obviously not considered a done deal. I agree with the person who said the lead actress is lacking something. When I first saw her, I thought the character was supposed to be bland but apparently not.

No but I heard “Girls like you” by Maroon 5 at one point! Her hair looks so greasy and dirty. It’s distracting.

Orange jam on a coffee trifle sounded (and apparently tasted) gross, but I wonder what kind of fruit would have tasted good with coffee trifle? Any ideas?

They were all beige with a tan cookie on top and yet received no complaints from Nancy! And dividing each flavor with a line of whipped cream sounds like something I would do (this is not a compliment!) 😂 Jon bugs me, but I did like his beige cheesecake decor the best.

Loved the “immunity from the twist” advantage. They should do that every week! I also love Lorenzo and hope he goes far!

I feel like there was some confusion in the preheat. The judges kept calling the quick breads “cake” and complaining that they were dense. Also weird that they had to decorate bread. For the hats, I think it’s unfair that one person had to sculpt a turkey and others just had to make a half circle and decorate it.

This is the first season I’ve watched. Is that voting wheel always a crappy piece of cardboard or is that a covid thing?

I actually thought the judges were told to say something nice about Sinai’s cake so that it wouldn’t be so obvious that she was a distant third. Guess not. This season suffered from two unlikeable judges and Carla who I find extremely annoying.

I think it’s this show’s version of the “Hollywood handshake.” 😂

Seems like they got the same amount of time this week that they got last week to make a whole sculpted cake. Don’t people sometimes put sauerkraut in chocolate cake? I swear I’ve had that before.

The twists were out of control tonight. The people who had green apple, lemon and lime were at a serious disadvantage when they had to incorporate pumpkin. Gross.

A lot of doppelgängers this season. I don’t know anyone’s name, but one guy looks like Sam Smith and another looks like the guy who played Cameron on Ferris Buellers day off. The guy who left looked like Bryan Cranston.

I wonder if they had a hard time getting contestants due to people not wanting to travel, quarantine, etc. Maybe that’s why Tamara’s back - she was a fill in.

I couldn’t agree more with all of this. I find Carla very annoying. Her theatrics undermine her credibility to me. I was shocked to learn recently that she was on Top Chef. Without the first challenge, this just seems like another cake competition show which I’m not interested in. i knew they’d send the guy packing after he ignored both the haunted house and balsamic requirements. Although someone else combined chocolate, peanut butter and balsamic vinegar which sounds absolutely disgusting.
