  1. I also think the Portland couple might "come from money." I couldn't help but notice she was wearing a huge rock, another family heirloom perhaps?
  2. And couldn't the dumpster be positioned over some kind of trough or depression in the ground? See, I'm still working on my personal theory that there's more to this dumpster than meets the eye
  3. I can't help but hope that the dumpster is not your ordinary dumpster! Couldn't it have been set up previously as a safe hiding place by Morgan or Enid? (At this point we don't know for sure where either of them are, right?) Could one of them be witnessing what's going on and will provide a distraction that will call off the herd long enough for Glenn slide under and escape? Maybe wishful thinking, but not knowing their whereabouts makes me suspicious. Edited to add: it just popped into my mind, could there be some backstory connection between Morgan and Enid? For example, she could have been marking the trail for HIM? And I, too, received NO PITY from another forum years ago when I, as a newbie, innocently replied to a troll. I was swiftly warned and received a black mark on my permanent record which never went away...(oops, I just see that in the meantime we've been very nicely urged to move on)
  4. Dang, shouldn't have killed Pete...
  5. I was so relieved to hear that Ella was "enjoying" all that Green Space in Lund, but I wondered what they would do with her when they traveled with all the money they saved.
  6. Do we have any idea how many Wolves there are? It seems that quite a few were killed between the last episode and this one. And why, of all things, would one of them pocket a jar of baby food unless there is maybe a baby wolf back in the den? Or he had a hankering for strained carrots?
  7. In reply to the theory that Enid was marking a trail to lead the Wolves to Alexandria, isn't there another theory that the Wolves are the exiled Alexandrites (and therefore wouldn't need anyone to give them directions)?
  8. If Glenn had been definitively shown among the Dead in the Memorian section or a guest on TTD last night, there would be no ambiguity or discussion about his fate today. The viewers are doing exactly what the writers want, fueling speculation about "is he" or "isn't he..." which creates great buzz for the show. The vague message about his fate can be interpreted so many ways, 1) Glenn will live on in his unborn child, 2) we will see him in flashbacks (which to me is cheating, it's the same as watching old episodes) 3) he will come back as a walker, etc. Maybe he was able to slide underneath the dumpster like he did with the tank. Maybe it is set up inside as a sweet little studio apartment by Enid for when she leaves ASZ and he'll be able to wait it out until the herd moves on. Maybe someone saw him (Morgan? Enid?) and will rescue him. Or maybe he is really dead. If that's the case, I hope he will be at the front, leading the herd when it reaches Alexandria. Anyway, I predict for the time being he will be "missing" and we will not get any answers until the mid season finale next month.
  9. I'm still shaking my head in disbelief over the new episode last night. The husband was in "landscape maintenance" which I figured was a fancy way of saying he mowed lawns, but they had a $ Million+ budget. The wife must have used the word "bling" a thousand times and the husband stressed that he loved to cook and wanted a very high end kitchen that included a "teppanyaki grill" and a pizza oven! Conveniently, one of his landscaping clients was selling her house and they had the opportunity to bid on it before it went on the market. She originally wanted $ 979,000 but supposedly since she liked the couple, she accepted $ 814,000.

Now I'm really confused. Last week I had remarked on the fake looking church steeple in the background of a B&W segment of the episode. In this episode, Spencer fires at the semi from inside a burned out, steeple-less church. And wasn't there some conversation about "rebuilding the church"?
  11. I was reading somewhere that the latest Baby Judith is actually the SEVENTH pair of twins (actually there was a set of triplets at one point) to play her. When I think of all the episodes where she wasn't shown at all, each set probably only worked about three times before they were replaced with a slightly older model. No wonder there are problems with continuity! And on a TOTALLY unrelated note, I thought the black and white background, especially the church steeple, looked like it was from a cheesy and totally unrealistic old Western movie set.
  12. I only caught the last five minutes of the Columbus Cookie Cutter woman tonight but I was absolutely positive when I came to this forum, someone was going to comment about her vocal fry! And "Down the Shore" you didn't let me down! It's almost like it has become a required part of the application process, like they submit a video, and the women with the most annoying voices are chosen. I think from now on the only way I can watch this show without going bonkers is to mute the sound entirely and use Close Captioning.
  13. I'll watch the season finale, but after that, I'm out, too! I'm majorly disappointed in this show and hope Cobalt is a resounding success and gets all these stupid people off my screen. Except maybe Tobias--I would LOVE to see that he was savvy enough to "get out of Dodge", somehow make it cross-country and eventually show up on TWD.
  14. Two things I was SO hoping would happen in the episode, but didn't: The Morse code signal in the hills would be coming from Tobias Nick's dip in the pool would get some of the grease out of his hair
  15. Longtime lurker, former TWOP poster, I had to join this forum to say GOODBYE. I can't believe I wasted so many hours of my Summer watching this awful show! The bratty children were beyond annoying (I was glad when they were abducted! Don't call us...) and the adults were clueless, inept and unlikable. Lily Rabe always looked like she was going to burst into tears. It reminded me of that improv game you play when someone starts a story, gets to a certain point and the next person has to pick it up and go from there. Nothing made sense, there was no follow through. I'm not surprised there was no conclusion, I'm used to these shows ending in a cliff-hanger just in case they're renewed for another season. That happened for "V," "Resurrection," (although that had a hastily tacked on denouement) "Invasion," "The River," "Flash Forward," (yep, I watched them all but have finally learned my lesson) and now with "The Whispers" and "Wayward Pines." Thank you everyone here for trying to explain the inexplicable and for the snark which I enjoyed far more than watching the show. As far as I'm concerned, (it's) OVER AND (I'm) OUT!
