I laughed when Tom asked if Stacey had gotten a "nice [engagement] ring" and Darcey's rather dismissive answer was "It's cute." I'm sure Darcey is expecting a rock like the ones she was ogling in the store window when she commented she likes "white diamonds" and wants to replace the CZ friendship ring from Tom for the real thing.

I don't think it was his father since Liam is in his 20s and it sounded like Laura was in a few LTRs after they got divorced. Was Liam's father the guy that Laura shaved his head when she caught him cheating or could that have been "You know who"?

I don't understand the big deal about Zied not having a work history. He's 26, lives with his parents and has probably only had temporary cash paying jobs, not a college education and cuh-reer. He supposedly finds audiences for some kind of TV show. I'm picturing those guys who approach you on the sidewalk outside a studio to come watch a taping. Plus, I suspect the rules for reporting income in Tunisia might be quite different from here in the US even if he has been employed in some menial capacity for several years. It's not like he misrepresented himself and told Rebecca he's a brain surgeon!

I've always pictured a call center where several men sit around computers and field texts from all the clients they are catfishing. A text comes in from Caesar and everyone groans, whose turn is it to play Maria and deal with him today? "Okay, Igor, you're the new guy. There's a bonus in it if you can convince him to send $ 400 worth of flowers!"

Because Stacey IS mean spirited and I think she enjoys Darcey looking like a fool on reality TV.

It's super rapid speech that doesn't pause to let others speak. It's often disorganized, loud, inappropriate, and not picking up on conversational cues. You'll notice quickly the text conversation stops being a conversation. Laura stops paying attention to and responding to the other side of the conversation. Oh, like Darcey and Stacey talk?
