  1. That was a great Bachelor audition Wills gave. I think that's a first being so overcome with emotion that he had to get out of the car. Yeah he didn't finish in the top 4 but the shows never had a black bachelor either. That was definitely an audition.
  2. The potato is highly versatile and delicious. I love potatoes. Since I know you think Becca is boring maybe that was giving her too much credit. Unless of course you don't like potatoes. But hey at least you didn't say lima beans.
  3. Although I honestly expected Wills to be gone by next week I was still a little surprised to see him on this. Guess we know for sure he wasn't picked, huh? Funny little sketch with him though. He's having fun with it.
  4. This! I agree on every point. As much as I think Jason would be good with Becca I too selfishly would love to see him as the Bachelor. That is unless he picked a awful, unlikable woman and then I could see me saying he would have been better off with Becca. Still I think he would make a good one. Can't think of another that I would rather see unless maybe Blake or Leo but I think Blake seems too sweet and gullible and not sure Leo could or would want to carry it. He almost seems "too cool for school" or, although he's a contestant now, feels almost like it would be beneath him?? I know that makes no sense but I kind of get that vibe from him.
  5. Yes it was Nick's season. To me it was obvious he was going to pick the young college girl from the beginning. I almost feel like he was told to take Kristen that far by the producers (same ones that do the Bachelor) because it didn't feel like he was honestly that excited about her to me. Like forgetting her name. And my goodness girl how many times are you going to embarrass yourself on this franchise? I felt almost sorry for her as she was scurrying off the stage. That was cringeworthy.
  6. I agree. Some of the choices her stylist has made leave something to be desired but as soon as she got out of the car for the RC my thought was the gown was stunning and she looked stunning in it. I can't imagine what your seeing because I think he seems very sweet and honest . His story about his grandmother not knowing his father, it teaching him to not waste time and let people you care about know how you feel, came across very sincere. Plus I love his Al Pacino tough guy vibe.
  7. Yeah Jordan was harmless and actually became pretty likeable. But not to worry. I'd lay odds we'll see him on BIP. I initially thought Blake was not that attractive but the more I see him I'm warming up to him. He seems sweet, genuine and like he's really into Becca. Wills gained a lot of new fans this episode, including me and Jason's been my favorite for awhile now. Hope he's the next bachelor. Yes, yes yes about Chris. My thoughts exactly. I said I would have sent him home night one for being a tattler along with that loser he tattled on.
  8. My votes for Jason. He doesn't have perfect looks but there's something about him. I actually like it when guys are good looking but a little rough around the edges. Makes them more relatable IMO. Plus I think he has a great personality, could carry the lead, and from what I could see is a great kisser. I agree Halkatla. I think she's doing a good job. She's confident, intelligent and very pretty. I think most of her guys are what's making it boring. I do question some of her choices but we all have different tastes and let's face it she didn't have much to choose from.
  9. Oh I do too. She did ask him if he wanted it back but he didn't want to be that obvious of a jerk to admit it. I think he was hoping she's say, "why of course I'll give it back". Lol. I don't know why she didn't actually. If I tried to wear it it would always remind me of that awkward cringeworthy night. I don't think she really wanted it she was just in a hurry to get him out of there.
  10. He said they dated for a year and a half, were engaged another year and then divorced after 2 months. I don't know but I think if there had been red flags surely they would have shown up in that 2 and half year period before marriage. Or there were but they ignored them. It does seem strange that they knew each other that long and then divorced shortly after marriage. I had a friend who dated her husband for 6 yrs and then they weren't married a year until they divorced. It happens. I think they have a preconceived idea of what marriage entails and what it will be like but then find out quick that it's nothing like they imagined.
  11. We ask this every season when the lead keeps around certain contestants that doesn't make any sense. Remember how long Corrine stayed in Nick's season when it was obvious he didn't have any serious intention with her. I think it's the producers who make them do it to keep the drama going.
  12. I agree. They actually seem to be comfortable together and fit very well. And she acts giddy around him. He's looking like a strong, if not the strongest, frontrunner. Definite attraction there. Wonder if it will be enough to overcome their different social views. Some make it work some don't.
  13. Who said that? I was distracted through most of the episode so I didn't catch it. Apparently some former co-workers told that he used to put toilet paper on the floor then defecate on it instead of using the toilet. Not sure if he left it or picked it up and then put it into the toilet but this is over the top gross and unsanitary. Now we learn he was just convicted of sexual harassment. And I suspect he's the answer to my above question. And he thinks the world is flat! This dude is a major loser and needs to go. To bad Becca has no idea about any of this.
  14. I'm not sure what the show has his profession listed as but RS said he is a sports writer.
  15. Yes you're right I saw that too! Her real name was Kristen or something like that. Anyone could tell from the premise this was a Bachelor produced show but now it looks like they're recycling contestants from the franchise. I know it's sure to be a train wreck but might be worthwhile to watch to see who else shows up from the franchise.
  16. Could be. I've heard the contracts these guys sign can be brutal but I'm not sure if with holding Bibles would violate any freedom of religion rights. And if so could they be waivered in a signed contract. I was just shocked to see a contestant actually reading since I had always heard books were prohibited.
  17. I don't know why the producers thought Tia would be another Raven because other than accents I didn't see a lot of similarities between them. I hadn't heard the rumor that at one time they wanted Raven for the Bachelorette. I did read that Raven got along well with producers and crew so if true that may be why she could have been wanted for the lead. She didn't even try to get it (was thrilled for Rachel) as in contrast to Tia who very obviously was. Which is a good example of just one of the differences between them. Makes me almost glad Arie screwed up because otherwise we would be watching Tia on our tv screens right now. Kendall, Seinne and others would have made better leads but I think the producers would have went with Tia. Becca may not be everyone's choice but think how bad it could have been.
  18. You're talking about Kendall and yes so many better choices than Tia.
  19. I noticed that right away too. I thought these contestants weren't allowed phones, internet and books. Maybe it was never true about books but then again they could have eased up on the inmates. I agree. Becca may be on the boring side but had it been Tia I daresay the board would be filled with complaints for various reasons. And I don't trust her either. The, "I love you" from her didn't ring true at all. Becca strikes me as one who was probably a tomboy when younger. Loved sports, felt awkward in dresses, not comfortable using feminine wiles to her advantage. Which may not translate well on tv but I like Becca. I'm reminded how boring Arie's season was up until the dramatic finish. I'm sure the producers have something up their sleeve coming up. They usually do.
  20. So if this is the case then it makes it even more interesting concerning the timing of Colton and Tia's "fling" or "relationship" or whatever it was. Again I can't wait to see what Tia has to say next week. I think she made a comment briefly to Arie that her faith was important but other than that she never really showed a strong religious side. If anything from her edit I kind of got the opposite impression. I agree. I think one of the better seasons that produced some lasting bromances was Kaitlyn's. You could really see it during the season and going by their social media Shawn, Ben H, Jared, Ben Z, Chris (cupcake), Tanner are all still friends. This season's group of guys do act more petty and seem like they're not bonding as well but it's early yet so time will tell. So much this. I thought so too but his star fell fast. Regarding Becca's accent I don't mind it but most accents don't bother me. Coming from the south I feel if people can tolerate mine I shouldn't have a problem with theirs. I actually thing accents are cool. Variety is the spice of life after all. Also @dleighg regarding "hint of mint" being a Southern expression, I haven't heard it before but that doesn't always mean anything. I usually lag behind on keeping up with the latest colloquialisms.
  21. That would be Nick and I agree. He reminds me of a young Jude Law. Don't worry @JenE4 he didn't like the way Lincoln was acting either but he did make the comment that Conner's actions were unnecessary or something to that effect. I suspect he won't last long though. Becca seems to prefer brunettes.
  22. Good post but I think you meant Lincoln in the first paragraph, right?
  23. I agree. But I don't think Nick looks as much like John Krasinki as Derek Path does (who proposed to Taylor after they were on BIP). Nick looks more like a younger Jude Law to me.
  24. It just seems like he's an opportunistic person to me. He wanted to be on tv, he pursued Tia thinking she would be the lead then when she didn't get it he switches to Becca. I would be curious to know about the exact timing on this and how much Tia knew. While she was in the running for the lead did she know he was in the casting process hoping to continue dating her on the show (or so he tells her)and then when Becca gets it he continues his quest against Tia's wishes and that's why he ended it? Or did Tia hook up with him after Becca was announced knowing full well he would be going on the show to date her friend? But mostly if it were me it would feel a little skeevy to be dating someone my friend had just recently hooked up with. And they only went out the one time so he says. I don't know if I would believe that or not. That's why I said it would be interesting to hear what Tia has to say next week. I think Becca would have many questions and rightly so. So until I got Tia's side of the story and decided if it would be worth my time to pursue it, it would be kind of a big deal to me.
  25. Don't all these contestants have handlers? If the picture meant as much to him as he claimed why couldn't he have gave it to his handler for safekeeping? If it meant that much to me I wouldn't have wanted it sitting out to be knocked off the table and maybe break the glass. There was absolutely no excuse for Connor's behaviour but this was a case of two male egos battling it out and being childishly stubborn. Lincoln was clearly antagonizing Connor but Conner should have been the better man and ignored him. They both should have went home IMO.
