Is the network ABC really sponsoring a show with Cate from teen mom???? I saw he hashtag with abc in it. Please tell me I’m delusional - networks like abc and nbc don’t care about these people!!! Right?!!

Compensation for having a fucked up family that sucks the life out of you is my guess lol. I think Tyler is one of the few cast members I feel bad for. All his life his dad has been in and out of his life and now he has to deal with a wife that’s in and out of his life at rehabs while he raises Nova; while taking care of his dad. He’s keeping it somewhat together given the circumstances. What the hells in my coffee today? That’s twice I’ve defended this turd. Lol

My only guess is he needs the truck for his remodeling projects. I don’t think he needs a truck like THAT but out of all of the TM car purchases, Tyler’s truck slightly makes sense for hauling countertops and plywood for his Crunchwrap supreme home remodel he is doing (I feel dirty defending Tyler). When Cate and Ty first started dating Cate was somewhat adorable and Tyler looked like a tall beanpole dork lol. Fast forward too many years together later and Cate now looks like his mother while Tyler sortove grew into his looks. That could be a big part of why she is extremely insecure. Do you guys remember the first season when Cate was so insecure and jealous that she didn’t want Tyler to go to a babies club (under 21 crowd where they don’t serve alcohol)? She was hysterical and even went to visit kinko Kathy to cry about Tyler going to this high school crowd type dance hall because there will be skinny girls wearing short skirts dancing near him. If that innocent club got Catelynn to be hysterical imagine how she felt when she watched Tyler at the strip club for his bachelor party!! I didn’t watch that episode but I heard Tyler had LOTS of fun being around the ladies. That happened before the extreme depression took place. My theory is that she has been PRETENDING to be confident and secure with her marriage but deep down inside she’s replaying that episode of Tyler and the stripper in her head over and over again. I mean, this is the girl that cried with the thought of FULLY CLOTHED girls dancing NEAR him at a no alcohol allowed club and we are suppose to believe she was so cool and hip about Tyler having NAKED women grinding on him with it filmed for her to watched anytime she wants. And combine that with all the groupie girls that message him on social media about how great he is knowing a few of those girls are probably DMing him a few naked pictures of themselves or asking TYLER for a dic pic. Combine that EVEN more with the fact her former co-star was a pretty backdoor star that always shows up with so much cleavage showing I know she had thought in her head “i Wonder if Tyler has watched Farrah’s videos????” Because anybody would be curious to investigate something like that when you KNOW the person. That’s why she hates Farrah, because she knows deep down that Tyler probably jerked off to Farrah’s video because he probably had a tiny crush on her when they first met. Do I believe a lot of her depression was due to postpartum??? Yes, a little bit but the most part is that she’s been thrown into a world full of beautiful women (being invited to VMA awards and porn stars lol) where tons of groupies worship her husband and she’s losing her looks and getting huge by the minute while her husband his posting shirtless photos looking like her son and not husband. I’m rambling, but yeah, a lot of her depression probably came from the stripper episode because that’s when I noticed her get more sad and withdrawn - almost resentful and bitter. She’s getting meaner these last few years. ETA: A girl just doesn’t go from being too jealous to have her man go to a club with teenagers to being so down and cool about naked women on her man overnight.

Are we the same person? All the bands you listed are my fave. The whole mix and I don’t care for country. I got Sirius XM just so that I can play the 90’s music in my car. Hey, the 90s style is coming back and I was a teen then, so now at 36 I can FINALLY afford some doc martens now that they are back in style (never were out of style but more appropriate for a chic in her 30s to wear now ?).

All this talk about Grace and Jaces therapy sessions has got me thinking, are the kids being asked by attorneys and producers if they in fact want to be airing their lives on teen mom? Or is it solely the parents decision? I ask because, Leah talking about Gracie’s private therapy sessions or Jenelle talking about Jaces private therapy sessions on Tv could be VERY humiliating for them now that they are old enough to get picked on in school. It’s not like they’re babies or toddlers anymore. I remember when I was 8/9 and kids picked on me for many things out of my control (cheap sneakers, my dad having “a poor mans car” etc) that I’m sure personal therapy sessions is fair game for hazing. I bet my bottom dollar that Jace and Gracie’s school mates parents’ all watch this shit show. I mean, if I knew my 6 year old sons classmates were on a reality show and that I saw their parents at the pick up and drop off at school I’d be nosy enough to watch their show to see what they’re up to. Then my child would “accidentally” catch a few clips (hypothetically speaking as I would never allow my young child to watch this show lol — not judging any of you if your kids watch this show...just my personal preference — not judging) where his friend from home room was on his television screen talking to his mom about wetting the bed the night before or sharing is personal feelings about therapy could open a door to harassment. Kids in middle school are insufferable — I still have insecurities from all of the teasing I suffered at that age. What I’m getting at it... I hope the kids are being asked permission to be filmed. I hope they’re not just being told “you’re a kid I’m the adult, you will do as I say, talk when the cameras are rolling!!!” You know? The kids will have so much to deal with in middle school and high school due to their parents actions, they DON’T need to be ridiculed for moments about them that were caught on film during a time they didn’t have the wherewithal to understand the ramifications of having personal things shared for world consumption. If I were 4 years old like Kaiser I would have no wherewithal to know strangers were on social media zooming in on part of my pull-up seeping out of my shorts and talking about whether or not I was too old to be wearing protection from bowel movements. I just feel sad for Kaiser and the other kids. When Kaiser is 15 boys might taunt him. I’m rambling...I just think these kids are being exploited and see it as a minor form of child abuse. Children deserve more rights. They may think it’s cool to be on TV now but they don’t understand what this will mean for their future. ETA: TL; DR It’s time to get these kids off this show.

August 2017 was her last appearance on PTV. Talking about Kail selling her baby to Jo. @AhFillAck come back lol. Related, I just realized that I’ve been a member since August 2015!!!!!!! And almost at 10k community likes. I remember when I first started this forum and saw members @ghoulina & former “GreatKazu” with 10k likes and I was amazed and thought “I will never reach that amount.” Btw, Ghoulina is about to hit 100,000 milestone....a PTV party in order??!? Isn’t that when they promote you to a moderator? Lol ? I can’t believe I’ve been talking with a lot of you fine people for almost 3 years. I’ve moved around so much in my life and that’s the longest friendships I’ve had, sadly. Everyone keeps saying how Jenelle wants Nathan back but that text reaked of “I saw on radar you and David are having fighting words soooooo, I’m happy you guys are doing good as a couple,” ☺️ My ex used to send a wall of txt when he thought me and my hubby was arguing ... trying to be the “friend looking out for me” but it had feelings attached. We have all commented about how we don’t like the way jenelles boyfriends talk to barb. We love Barb, but we can’t beat a dead horse. We only mention David’s mom now was because it was the first time we’ve witnessed it. I have on many, many occasions mentioned how sad I feel for Barb being older and having to raise a child all over again when she should be enjoying her later years and my disgust for the way she’s talked to and thanked for her selfless act to keep Jace out of foster homes but that’s several pages back in the Jenelle thread. I already edited my part about David’s mom being elderly and changed it to older woman as I didn’t mean to offend anyone but she does appear older than she probably is, bu She looks about 65 (my mom is 67 and looks younger than David’s mom) and that’s considered “elderly” when I googled “age considered elderly.” I ♥️ barb and don’t wish for ANY man to yell at ANY woman, except for Jenelle, Kailyn and Brianna lol ?

That was a little weird that David didn’t seem at all bothered that some muscle man was yelling at his sweet lil momma. Most real men would have stopped their mothers mid-sentence to say “you mean he YELLED at you???? Nobody yells at my momma!” But he didn’t even bat an eyelash about it. He’s an abuser.

I kid you not, when I watched last weeks episode on MTV.com I had to sit through Amazons commercial with the older lady getting that new Alexa video clock thingy 5 times in a row for EVERY commercial break. When I first saw that commercial I got choked up because I miss my mom but at the end of the episode I was likeeeeee “who the fuck cares???” LOL.

If you would spend as much time with your nose in a book as you do learning smart sounding words you would learn how to use said smart sounding words, correctly. Also, I don’t know anything about David’s mom but to get verbally hostile to an older woman (or any woman) is not good. I hate Kailyn, but I hate Briana even more and I was happy to hear she stopped filming for Lincoln’s birthday. Javi just wants camera time and Briana wants to rub her relationship with Javi in her face with those overkill matching shirts. I’m surprised she didn’t have her shirt read “baby mama 2.0” or “Javi’s BAE” to really annoy Kailyn. I loved watching Kailyn read her correspondence with Briana to Jo and Vee where she clearly started that argument by saying “have my ex sloppy seconds there’s enough to go around” non-verbatim...she seems so confused on why Briana went from 0-100? Jo and vee had a look of “you did this shit to us, puta!” Leah - ?You need a parenting class. But at least you’re trying... Nice to see Corey again. You could tell Chelsea wasn’t fake being emotional in the car, her hands were shaking ...she’s a very good mom with so much love for her kids. Refreshing. I want Briana off of this show.

I understand you meant it towards particular parents you know personally. I was just venting about why I occasionally do it since I never go out anymore lol. Hugs! Catelynn can’t bother to parent Nova otherwise she’s off to a resort for the stresses of life meanwhile real parents are in engulfed in tons more stress mixed with financial burden and stick it out. ? My husband and I are guilty of the iPad at a restaurant. Our daughter is two months younger than Nova and on the spectrum so she has random meltdowns and can’t talk, yet. So when we actually do venture to a restaurant to have dinner with family or friends we bring her iPad so we can get through a dinner without a scene (I don’t have anyone that can babysit for us that is able to handle her otherwise we wouldn’t bring her to a restaurant). Last month we went to our first restaurant in MONTHS with my brother and his wife and our daughter screamed the whole time (I think it was due to a short nap) and my husband had to sit in the car with her until she calmed down (Normally I handle the meltdowns but I haven’t seen my brother in a long time so my hubby let me enjoy my visit...) We have behavioral therapy scheduled in July so hopefully we will have a better understanding of her meltdowns, but giving her the iPad was the ONLY way we could get through the meal with family without nearby patrons giving us the stink eye, but when we are home the iPad usage is restricted to 1 hour per day with 30 minutes of it being learning activities and the other 30 being her favorite show “spirit” on Netflix. I don’t know why I just shared all of that. I guess it’s guilt for relying on technology to parent for me when in social situations or that I just have nobody to vent to about this...? ETA: she’s a happy little girl but when in social situations she gets frustrated so I don’t want anyone thinking she’s bratty because she’s a sweety but since she’s not quite able to communicate her feelings just yet so it’s hard to know what’s bothering her (like an infant so to speak) so that’s why I don’t want to leave her with anyone but her dad and myself. I have three kids total, full time job and no entourage of helpers helping me so I cringe when I see Kailyn complain about her struggles as a mom when on her 100th vacation. ?

And to think, I was sooooo worried about my beer funnel pictures from college humiliating my unborn children that I went to my MySpace and my MySpace of friends asking them to delete the pictures I was tagged in. Here in 2018, beer funnels at a college party is so mild, it belongs on the show happy days. Now parents are posting crazier stuff about spreading butt cheeks and having men spit in them to crotch grabbing. I feel so bad for their kids because middle schoolers are cruel and high schoolers are insufferable when it comes to tools to bully a child with and Briana and Kailyn basically gave their future classmates a full toolbox of arsenal.
