  1. No problem here either. Should the nanny have the best room in the villa? (The majority of) these women are wealthy and have nannies and bring them on trips. I prefer their honesty and off the cuff remarks.
  2. Just watched the 1st Look and damn that Ramona! She had me tearing up one minute with that catch in her voice telling Betheny that Mario "is part of me". Having been married now for 27 years I never ever ever want to imagine life without my husband (tho it would not be by philandering!). THEN she turns around in the next scene and is telling Sonja how everyone (except she, Ramona) is saying Sonja is an alky. OMG my show is back! My.show.is.back!!!
  3. I thought it was just my computer. I get on this site and it's like my mouse and keypad and 10000 moves behind my fingers!
  4. I had that same exact thought as I was watching her after she sat down I think from the bug incident! She said something and I was all "ah ha! you are trying to show Mario you are are still all that and a bag of chips!!"
  5. I heard the amuse-bouche comment in the kitchen and then the femme le bouche (sp) at the table. I do think it was directed at Heather. Because 1) Ramona's not unpacking it herself and 2) she's an entitled bitch? Too much yelling - Bethenny did NOT get through to Sonja. Please. You could tell Sonja wasn't even in the same conversation and suddenly she gets through to her? Not believing it. I love Dorinda (I think I say it every episode). I laughed at Kristin's expressions with Ramona hanging all over her.
  6. I finally got a chance to watch the First Look -- during the Betheny/Kristin "conversation" I was silently screaming WALK AWAY KRISTIN! WALK AWAY! Oy, it was painful and I wanted to punch Sonja in the throat because the B/K convo would never have happened if she didn't jump right onto them ugh. I love Dorinda more and more every episode; Sonja was quite the bitch between the "for the masses, not the classes", that weird energy she and Ramona have together (they were like a couple of pre-teens with the guy at the bar) and her nastiness towards Kristin; and where the heck has Carole been? Oh, I'm looking foward to Tuesday - please don't let me down this week ladies!
  7. You forgot the "Downtown Julie Brown" schtick as well. As I'm watching the episode all I can think of is an old (Girl Scout?) song that has the phrase "here comes another one, just like the other one....." HOWEVER, I began rubbing my hands together in glee watching for next week to see Beth, Mona and Son turning on each other! Weehee!
  8. I was just poking a little fun at you AnnA with my reply before (sorry I couldn't resist). I would LOVE to talk about people and scenes other than ones with Bethenny but it sure does feel like BRAVO likes it their way. Considering that 3/4 of the show contains Bethenny - the dinner at Dorinda's was over the course of TWO episodes! - my brain gets so fuzzy and TPTB are probably rubbing their hands together with glee! And in an attempt to steer the conversation aways from "She who shall not be named", I really enjoyed seeing the Red Lion Inn and What town were they doing the shopping in? Is Dorinda's home in Western Mass? or Eastern NYS? We've been in that area skiing and on the motorcycle a few times over the years. And I loved the playfulness of Romona and Carole on the staircase and naming the manor. I don't know how to "fix it" but I just HATE the canned, phony conversations like the standing around "oh let's talk about the trip" and cutting to the facial expressions. I enjoy the scenes of the HW doing things individually with their families. Even the cupcake decorating was so forced. Is Dorinda an old friend of Betheny's? because I thought she didn't want to have to get to know anyone new? (annndddd, I'm talking about "she..." again).
  9. LOL - Yes! Less Bethenny! More other people - housewives, strangers off the street! But we can leave the drama with Bethenny off screen.
  10. First of all -- that scene appeared to be SO STAGED!! OMG I hope every got their lines straight! And then the most outrageous line ever Bethany says: I'M NOT ASKING FOR SPECIAL ATTENTION" HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAAAA!
  11. Damn her! If she comes out with a whipped cream flavor I will have to buy it.
  12. And isn't that funny that it was Bethenny that so much of Kelly's ire was directed at? (forgive the ending with a preposition, I'd be here all night trying to figure out how to compose it differently) "you're not a CHEF, you're a COOK" and what not.
  13. Except she then proceeds to tell Heather and Luann to stop talking about her after they all sit back down. I would have told her STFU at that point. I have the same manner as Heather of asking a person alot of questions when I first meet them. I don't deliver them quite the way Heather does, but I wonder if they feel like they are being roasted too! It's pretty funny because I get uncomfortable talking about myself so I throw it on to them.
  14. Mya -- I deleted my response in you're honor..... Love my NYC housewives....looking forward to seeing a little more variety of them...TPTB please hear our pleas!
  15. This episode solidified my hatred of Bethenny. "Ew, ball gowns, long gloves, knots landing..." Fuck you. Maybe if you had accepted the invite from the start, you would have known everyone's plan to dress fancy. Besides she made my Heather act like a crazy woman and made her look like she was going to cry and I hate her more for that.
  16. Bethenny wasn't in the First Look. She was in the previews for the next episode. And with that said - it'll be same old, same old. Crash the weekend (as she has crashed the season) and bitch. She makes fun of what they're wearing when obviously it was something planned that she wasn't privy to - because she said she wasn't attended! Snore snore - someone wake me up with when she's stopped talking. Anyway - from what I could see in the first look - I really did like Dorinda's house. It was HUGE and nicely decorated. I prefer actually mismatched (hey, let's relegate this couch to the Berkshire house ok?) to professionally mismatched on purpose. BUT!! I am more of a Heather-style of home and so really liked the comfy casual and -gasp!- smallness of her home. I was laughing out loud at Carole and Ramona on the stairs! It was so funny and light hearted and there was no snark but what appeared to be a real friendship. More of this please!! And I laughed Saturday night when my husband came home from the package store and told me he bought me a bottle of SKINNY GIRL margarita!! I had a glass and promptly got a head ache. Ach - just buy me the fixin's next time and I'll make my own!
  17. Oh not enough for me! I want to see apartments and families and all of them doing "stuff" that they would normally do as a NYC housewife! It's so tiring to watch 2 at lunch here and 3 at dinner there. Not representing their lives at all. Since I have it cut and pasted already -- Yeah! just hit that big ol' X in the upper corner!
  18. I must say that the relationships we saw in this episode seemed very forced! I feel like the girls are trying out some new friendships this season, and I don’t know that they are going to work out. Just look at Ramona and Luann! They tried to establish a friendship this year, and it completely blew up tonight (and at the fabulous Pettrosian of all places). But I must say that Ramona and Dorinda’s new friendship does seem to be genuine. The above is from Sonja's blog this week. I thought Ramona and Dorinda were old friends? Also noticed on the side bar - not one, but THREE articles (2 blogs and 1 spoiler alert) have the picture of Bethenny and Carole sitting at CB2. I don't recall anyone being jammed down our throats so heavily before. have yet to see one of the ladies tweet a compliment about my collection or post a photo from my fashion show at Fashion Week 2015 ^^ is also from Sonja's blog. Is there any proof that she had a fashion show at Fashion Week??
  19. This is what I feel like on Tuesday nights at 9pm these days "oh oh Bethenny's talking? oh snore snore, wake me up when you're done whining" Gahhhh.....I've said it before and I'll say it again - I was SO HAPPY seeing previews of the season starting, I was literally rubbing my hands together with glee and now it it just one big Bethenny snore fest.
  20. https://www.facebook.com/star999fm/videos/10152973174301317/?pnref=story Well - here's your chance to hear him sing it. My sister was at an acoustic concert this afternoon. I hope the link works
  21. The longer she is on, the more I don't like her and sadly I was rubbing my hands with glee at the start to watch her. There's too much her, not enough others. And this makes her sound a little narcissistic yes? If you have millions, have a legitimate business (conglomeration practically!) - go run it! Live your life, fix up your apartment, parent your child. I would actually have respect for her then.
  22. And I'm just plain old BITTER that Bethenny is ruining this show for me! Too much of her and I really don't give a shit and she's just re-hashing everything I remember of her from RHofNY in the beginning. It's like she's never grown in any way since the last time she was on. And she's such a BITCH! But I'll soldier on...
  23. That was fun! Thanks for sharing it. And if the newscasts here in CT continued to focus on Nick, people would be screaming that "there's XYandZ happening in the world and you're airing this?", so yeah, not quite sure what more needs to be said. I follow Life in Connecticut (or something like that) and Nick's fb feed so there's enough chatter there for me about it. check it out.
  24. LOL - I just watched Nick's coronation song/women's soccer video just above this post and teared up! I really like the song and I am a biased CT resident, but I really really like Nick! Someone mentioned upthread that there's is a big difference between playing gigs with your band in a bar and singing on a LA stage in front of ALOT more people and I will agree! The rehearsals, the direction from "experts". Like the judges sometimes say they can see the wheels turning in the performer's head trying to remember everything. Anyway - I'm over the moon Nick won. I think with his father being a musician also, he knows it's not instant fame and success and he'll be old enough to make good decisions for himself.
  25. Nick is/was part of a band (I know everyone knows that already) so I wonder if he would pick up with them. I don't know how to link to a video but if you want - go to Facebook and search for CT Style. It's our local show and they have a clip from Beach Ave performing after they won a battle of the bands at Mohegan Sun. From what I heard there, they threw the band together and made an audition tape and got in to the competition. Were they also on America's Got Talent? I was sad about Harry's performance of "City Beneath the Sea" because it's one of my favorite songs of his! I have his CDs and some stuff is great and some is weird but that's him! We here in CT (and we're 20 minutes to Guilford) and just over the moon!! It's been so much fun reading about him and alot of people I know went to the homecoming concert and parade and know his parents, etc. The day of the parade his aunt was in the dental office my sister works in! LOL can't wait to hear more of the backstory of American Idol as time goes by.
