  1. He starred in Parenthood as the little brother who screwed up a lot, but eventually settled down to be married with children and own a business.
  2. They overlap for the rest of the run of the show! Noah is there right up until the last episode with his AA girlfriend, Ellen. Ugh. I'll take her frumpy haircut over the razor job she does in a few episodes. I loathe her super short hair in the middle of the season. Donna as a redhead was by far her best look on the show.
  3. The resemblance to Enrico Colantoni is uncanny and I can’t unsee it know.
  4. Cress Williams played Vince's drug-dealing dad on Friday Night Lights too. He was definitely more menacing and rough around the edges for that role.
  5. Brandon and Noah's "fight" was just all kinds of ridiculousness, but the writers made Noah way too familiar with Brandon and their group. He calls Brandon, "B" - again, he is not Chinatown Dylan (TM: Tara). Then Noah says as far as he's concerned Brandon and Kelly were always meant for each other. Noah's known them, what? A week? Two weeks tops? Kelly got shot coming back from the short vacation and hasn't been in the hospital for months. It's just all very bizarre how quickly they ingratiate him into the group. As for the Val-Kelly discussion, I thought Jennie and Tiffani were BFFs for a long time after they met on the show. They had their falling out after the show ended while Jennie and her husband were divorcing.
  6. I think it's still from his fall on the hike in Hawaii.
  7. Val as a gold digger or focused on money doesn’t seem so farfected given the firdt thing she told Ginger about was how Steve “would give good credit card.” She went to Jonesy for more money after the Mexican heist to get Dylan’s money back. While she wasn’t such a “gold digger” she definitely enjoyed having money. She’s also coming off being swindled and now being broke.
  8. I posted this in a more recent episode thread, but there is no way Hakeem would be completely and forever cut off from seeing Bella even if Anika got full custody. Non-custodial parents are entitled to visitation and even unfit or questionable parents get supervised visitation.
  9. I'm still hung up on the fact Hakeem has no visitation or contact with Bella whatsoever. Even if one parent gets full custody, the non-custodial parent is entitled to some type of visitation unless their parental rights are terminated or they are unfit. Hell, even unfit parents get supervised visitation. It just takes me out of it that he is totally cut off from her forever based on this one court ruling, even if there is an appeal.
  10. I lost my dad 8 years ago, albeit when I was 35, and Father's Day does kind of suck. As for Claire and her angst over her mom, I get that folks grieve in different ways and she was supposed to be 10 when her mom died. However, it's been at least 11 Mother's Days without her. The dramatics in which it is written seem more appropriate for someone who is dealing with her first Mother's Day without her mom or a few years, not at least a decade.
  11. What is with this show making the pregnant actresses go through dramatic/traumatic pregnancy storylines? Maybe GC's was a punishment for her daring to get pregnant and demanding they write it in, but obviously they tried to hide Jennie Garth's pregnancy the whole season.
  12. Does Kelly know Val's dad molested her? If so, that was a sick burn about how family and lovers are not the same thing. I think even if Kelly didn't know, it stung Val harder than expected.
  13. Kelly is a bitch to everyone and she gets a brunch? WTF. She and Brandon are almost instantly miserable with again too. They never seem happy with each other, even when Brandon does supposedly "grand romantic gestures" like procuring a kiddie wand.
  14. I wish we would have seen more of Val's reactions to Kelly's journal - you know her eyes almost rolled out of her head during most of that snore fest.
  15. Susan had the audacity to put her career options first (SHE TOOK THE JOB!) so she was dead to Brandon. After Brandon literally gave Susan the kiss-off on the boat, he went drinking with Steve, which got him all caught up with nabbing Colin. Then they had a conversation after Colin was arrested when they were back at Casa Walsh about bad timing and implying they still had feelings for each other then. So I don't find it that it that odd that he talked to Mariah about Kelly instead of Susan.
  16. I shouted, "YASSSS!" at Cookie Lyon whippin' Brandon's ass with a broom like she did to Hakeem. Cookie would have shut him down at every opp-bray-tunity!
  17. BaseOps, thanks for the clips! Those of us who have been here since episode 1 have been through a lot with these characters.
  18. "A little less than she cares about me... but she's eager to please and a warm body so...." I really hated the whole Tracey storyline and given how it all resolves, *spoiler alert* the way Brandon fawns over her in the Hawaii episodes in the S8 premiere make absolutely no fucking sense either.
  19. It's odd that David is actually helpful and really, secretly Team Felice in this whole thing.
  20. Kudos to whoever predicted Riggs was gone before the 300th episode.
  21. I was surprised Erica wasn't given a bigger mention given how much screen time she sucked up during season 4 and the one-off in season 5. I think Erica deserved second place behind Donna given the longevity of her storyline.
  22. So I googled Teddy Dunn just to see where he ended up and this article was in the top of the search. He talks about how he deliberately played Duncan as a log and there is even a TWOP shoutout! Teddy Dunn Chose to be a Log
  23. Being as this was episode 22, which by today's standards is usually a season finale, or damn close, this season has SO.MUCH.FILLER.
