  1. I also think Greg will take the US CEO crown. The sibs underestimate him. Matsson has disdain for women and is using Shiv, while already discounting her after finding out she was pregnant.
  2. The editing for MTV is so harsh and makes this show so much less fun. This episode literally went so fast! The runway was a blip: there were times the queens were more than halfway down the runway before they were shown, no time to clock the look, no queen voiceovers, and even the corny runway puns were falling flat and were disjointed. We didn’t even hear the judges deliberate. Did I miss them announce which group won?
  3. I thought this was definitely a true Charlotte reaction, along with suggestions she dye her hair. I also thought Charlotte's comment to Carrie about how women who get work done shouldn't be shamed either was a bit on the nose, as it were, given all of the talk that Kristin Davis had work done before the reboot.
  4. This whole part of the finale took me right out of it. I loved Pray and didn't want him to die, but all of this was too much to overlook. I also found it odd that none of the NYC family went to Pittsburgh to go to his funeral. We didn't need to see the funeral, but I just find it incredulous not even Blanca went to say goodbye and meet his mother. I'm sure Pray told her he and his mother made amends when he mentioned his aunt was his POA.
  5. I felt like this was a callback to their elevator scenes when he would stand behind her like that and to when after the bomb episode, he told her that her shampoo smelled like lavender. Yes, all of this. Their children would be orphaned, which did not happen to Derek...and we can all debate whether he turned out fine. One coincidence pointed out on Twitter last night is that Shonda killed off Derek on April 23, 2015, and essentially killed him off again almost 6 years to the date later.
  6. After last night's episode with Lexie, Mark, a reference to Sofia/Callie/Arizona, and texts from Cristina and an upcoming appearance by April, makes me think they do intend to wrap up the show this season. Why pull out so much nostalgia if it's not the end?
  7. Bringing back all of these fan favorites from the glory days in a single season (with April slated to come back and who knows who else in these final episodes of the season) leads me to firmly believe they are planning a series finale. How can they possible top what they've done this season with the surprise returning guest stars and providing closure/tidbits on beloved fan favorites? Maybe for the finale they'll do a flash forward beyond the pandemic to have Cristina show up or have her make an appearance via Zoom?
  8. As soon as I saw him, I said, "He shot Derek on Grey's! Give that man his spot!"
  9. That was the perfect song for that scene. When it was over, I just bawled.
  10. I went through this with my dad ten years ago when he died of lung cancer. I remember the hospice nurse referred to that last burst of energy shortly before the end as "the surge." I distinctly remember my dad's surge. So when Mitch was alert, hitting that buzzer, and interacting with people, I looked at my husband and said, "It's the surge." So heartbreaking.
  11. The highlight for me was Jackson calling out Catherine about how they thought Richard was depressed because she was divorcing him and forced him out of a job. When Richard mentioned Adele to Catherine and called Meredith "Ellis," that was heartbreaking.
  12. My DVR locked up at the 6:58 mark and would not play the rest of the episode. Thanks for the recap. Seems I missed nothing of substance.
  13. She played Mrs. Teasley, the high school principal on Beverly Hills, 90210.
  14. Maybe we'll get their story as Rebecca continues to lose her short term memory to tug the heartstrings and victimize Miguel even more than he already has been by the Big Three.
  15. Am I the only one that thought Kate looked a bit apprehensive when Toby had such a positive reaction to Baby Jack responding to the lights? As if it was dawning on her that Toby was either getting false hope for a cure/vast improvement or that he would only really be happy or engaged if Baby Jack wasn't visually impaired?
  16. What a totally shitty sendoff after 15+ years. This show has so much toxicity behind it.
  17. I forgot and am thankful for the reminder. Yes, he's dealing with the consequences of his actions with his child, but he still has poor judgment by thinking dealing drugs will bring him financial security. ETA: I think Tess' immediate bond with the baby is meant to foreshadow her social worker future.
  18. Totally agree with this. My immediate reaction to seeing the human footstool was Tom's need to humiliate someone as much as Logan humiliated him with Boar on the Floor and when Shiv basically said she screwed someone else while he was gone for the weekend. Then cut to being so triggered by Greg's proposal of an open business relationship that Tom pelted him with the water bottles. Tom has no handle on the two areas of his life he desperately wishes to control, so he has to take that frustration out somewhere else. I think it also makes him feel like a Roy because they all treat anyone below their status level like crap.
  19. This show has been airing for almost 16 years...they gotta do something to keep the "drama" going, right? UGH They are all so reckless.... Let's harken back to season 1 when not only did Cristina get pregnant, but Olivia contracted syphilis from Alex and gave it to George....
  20. I assume she was given a suspended imposition of sentence, which if the offender completes the terms of probation/community service, it wipes away any conviction off of your record so you don't have to report that you were convicted of a felony. ETA: Judges typically only give suspended imposition of sentences to first-time offenders. I don't know why she was shocked the medical board was reviewing her actions. It's about damn time some ethical review board oversees all of their shenanigans. There are many hoops to jump through to get and maintain a medical license. Insurance fraud is a huge violation, even if she got a slap on the wrist from the courts. I was furious for Bailey. I get that she has strong ties to the three people she fired, but they did not deserve apologies and she certainly did not deserve Catherine's ire...and Catherine's been mad at Richard for far less than aiding and abetting insurance fraud that directly reflects on her precious reputation and foundation.
  21. I won't echo all of the highlights above but I will say even my husband, who has absorbed enough 90210 background noise over the years as I've randomly rewatched episodes, laughed out loud at the enemies list, how Shannen was so baffled at the Ray storyline, and how Shannen didn't know how long the show ran without her. This was my favorite episode by far.
  22. This is the true tragedy of the streaming and DVDs. Diehard fans know which songs were played and which ones are missing. So many scenes have been stripped or deleted too. I assume the network made this call. Ugh. This is insane to me also. At least the network loosened up slightly by 1994/95 when Donna danced with D'Shawn at her fundraiser. Did she kiss him after their fake date when David was swooning over the blind piano teacher?
  23. Shannen/Brenda was always my favorite OG character. While I'm loving most aspects of this reboot, am I alone in being peeved that Shannen has gotten 5 mins of airtime over the first three episodes, even though she features prominently in the promos? I completely understand she joined late, etc., but considering it is such a limited run of episodes, I feel cheated. I would have loved for her to be part of that group therapy with Carol Potter and bicker with Jason for Carol to say, "Ja-son!" or "Shan-nen!" in her best appalled Cindy Walsh voice. I would have liked a tiny acknowledgement of Luke missing from that "cuddle puddle" photo shoot too. Shannen touching the photo or something would have acknowledged him and reinforced the premise that she did not want to sign on until after he died. Maybe they'll get into that a tiny bit next week since the description says Shannen questions her decision to join the reboot?
  24. Ian doesn't have any of the playfulness and charm he brought as Steve in the original series, but they are writing him as this cutthroat brand-obsessed jerk. I get that he's pissed about his wife's infidelity, but he's been written as very cold toward his friends/castmates.
  25. I listened last night right after the episode. God bless them for dropping it right away. I agree BAG cannot be a "hot daddy" to me, even in a fictionalized/heightened version of this show after the way he's treated his son in real life (even if his son did make a set visit with VM's encouragement).
