  1. Was this the episode about Michael Bradyn Fuksa? His remains were identified this past May
  2. There's an Associated Press article this week about Investigation Discovery that I thought was somewhat interesting. It mentions the crazy titles of some of the shows. By the way, I noticed in my cable guide that Deadly Women is going to be airing new episodes starting this Friday.
  3. Have you seen that Lifetime Movie Network has a new series called Monster in My Family? It premieres next Wednesday.
  4. I don't think Andy used fondant. In fact didn't he use a knife to texture his buttercream on top? Maybe he used fondant to make his flowers, but not to cover his cakes. Here's the recipe with a picture of the cake.
  5. There's a new series called The Killing Hour, which just started this past Friday. The case was one from England in the 1980s, and I was not familiar with it. This might be a British series since the next episode is also about a UK murder. I do remember that case from some other show.
  6. I used to say that a certain cat of mine gave me "love bites". He would suddenly run up and bite me on the leg. It would startle me, but he didn't break the skin or cause me any pain. I called them love bites because he never did it to anyone but me, and they didn't seem malicious. Maybe he just wanted my attention.
  7. Big Sauk Lake. Sauk Centre.
  8. Maybe it reminded you of another Fear Thy Neighbor episode called Welcome to Murder Street. That one was also about people living on lakefront property, and one of the neighbors tried to hire a hitman. There was a dispute over a dock in that one, too.
  9. Investigation Discovery has a series called Dangerous Persuasions about people who fell prey to controlling people or groups. The newest episode was about Mark "Marty" Rathbun. It gave information about how and why he got into Scientology and how he got out. Also, a lot of stuff about the ways Scientology tries to keep members from escaping. The IRS really needs to revoke their tax exemption status.
  10. The family says it's not so. Also, Sinatra had a vasectomy years earlier.
  11. Thanks everyone for the clarification about what Rick found on the gate. As I read it, I think he's saying that now people have become the wolves..
  12. I am trying to figure out if the gate didn't close only because Father Gabriel was careless, or if there was something jamming the mechanism. That would still be the fault of Gabriel for not paying attention, but it also suggests someone deliberately tampered with the gate. What I want to know is, what was it that Rick recovered off the gate? I thought it was something that kept the gate from locking, but maybe it was just evidence of walkers.
  13. I thought the theory (some people don't agree with it) was that Skylar knew that Rachel and Sheila had had sex during a sleepover, and they were worried she would tell people this secret. I might be wrong, but I don't think it was ever implied by anyone that there was a love triangle that involved Skylar. There was another girl named Shania who people claimed liked Sheila. I think that was where the love triangle came in, and it hasn't anything to do with the murder.
  14. I posted in the Disappeared forum, but nobody seems to go there since the show is just reruns now. Anyhow, if you watched Disappeared, you may remember the case of Zeb Quinn, the kid with a pager who was trying to buy a car. The main suspect in that case is the guy who was just arrested for the murders of Cristie Codd and her husband. I enjoyed that show. I also liked that it was only half an hour. I'm guessing since they've given Michelle Ward a new series, that one is probably not coming back. Of course, now they have the overblown Obsession: Dark Desires. And, yes, I do watch that.
  15. I've found that's easy to get mixed up when you watch a lot of these shows like I do. If you're interested, Wikipedia has an article on the crime.
  16. I watched it. Of course, this is an infamous crime, which generated huge publicity at the time, so I was very familiar with it. The background on the killers was newish for me, I guess. Anyhow, they both were sentenced to death.
  17. Jason Owens (the Jason mentioned above) has been arrested for the murders of a former Food Network Star contestant and her husband.
  18. My station cut to fundraising briefly, but then showed the updates. I knew to wait because the fundraising hosts said they would show the updates.
  19. Her name is Ellen Petersen. Branson native, MSU grad sent home on 'American Idol'
  20. HGTV used to show The City Gardener with Matt James. They also briefly had an American version with him called Urban Outsiders. Gardener's Journal has been mentioned, but another show I really liked was Gardener's Diary with Erica Glasener. She would visit various gardens, sometimes very simple ones. I remember there was a service station owner who would plant zinnias in a vacant spot in front. Other people had elaborate gardens. She'd discuss the garden with the owners and talk about certain plants.
  21. I think the issue of Noah's paternity is just about Olivia worrying what sort of person Noah will grow up to be. There were seeds of worry planted last week.
  22. He didn't. At the very end of each episode they tell the outcomes.
  23. Apparently, peripheral neuropathy is not uncommon after bariatric surgery. Susan started out well, had some problems, and then ended up seemingly back on track. I hope it works out for her.
  24. It was the pizza boy (Payton) who went home. Spaghetti boy (Jackson) was in the top two. What bugged me was when they talked about the taste considering everything had to double for something else. I mean, does a smooshed brownie covered in buttercream and corn flakes taste fabulous.? Maybe, I don't know. I'm pretty sure I would not want to eat a salad of shredded coconut.
