  1. Hmm, I guess that's one way to look at it. I guess I took it at face value, that John just doesn't like little dogs, but he's too nice to say anything negative about Violet, or her dog. To be clear, I don't think John loves Violet. I think he's settling, so he won't be alone. I don't think they'll end up together, but the question is, who will do the dumping? My money is on Violet dumping John, after she spends too much time with Sara. On a different subject, I hope they start looking into the husbands of the babies. I wonder if the Spanish dignitary guy has a mistress who got pregnant, and he was using the services of the lying-in hospital. And somehow taking his other baby is payback. I just don't see a connection between the two babies yet.
  2. Hmm, I don't get the impression that he doesn't care for Violet. Why do you think that? From the scenes of them together, he shows her affection. He would just rather be out tracking down criminals instead of sitting in a fancy restaurant listening to idle chitchat.
  3. Only what some of the actors have said. Both Dakota and Luke have been asked about it. They both basically said, nothing is planned at the time, and it's difficult to get all three actors together for such an extended period of time because of their busy schedules, but they all love working together and would be happy to come back, so never say never. I'm not expecting a season 3, but if there is going to be one, we probably wouldn't see it for many years.
  4. Unfortunately, the way he killed the ox is similar to how deer are currently hunted with bows. If you shoot a deer, and it doesn't fall down right away, you're suppose to wait at least 30 minutes, and then track the blood to find where it has fallen. Otherwise, it will run off while it still has the strength, and will make it difficult to find. I'm not a hunting expert, but I get the impression that bow hunting means a slow death for the animal. I also think the blood licking was gross. A few episodes ago, he did the same thing, and the show put a message on the screen saying it was dangerous to eat raw blood. lol
  5. I really enjoyed the first two episodes, although dead babies are creepy are sad. And the execution was very difficult to watch. It's crazy they could find the mother guilty without any evidence. I'm guessing the doctor at the lying-in hospital has a lot of pull; all those rich men coming to him to get rid of their illegitimate babies. It was nice seeing the gang back together. John's new fiance seems nice enough, but I doubt that will last. I got a kind of icky vibe between her and her godfather, Hearst. Maybe it's just me. ETA I just read that Violet is suppose to be Hearst’s secret illegitimate daughter. I remember her calling him papa, but I thought that was just a pet name or something. And of course Sara had to save John again! He's always walking into danger, unprepared. Bless his cinnamon roll heart though. Goo Goo Knox is a cool name. I googled it, and apparently he was a real guy on The Hudson Dusters. I'm not yet sure how they are involved in the crimes, if they are at all. The new girls working for Sara seem cool. Hopefully we learn more about them. Lucius Isaacson's crush on Bitsy was cute.
  6. It's amazing they all got along so well. One of the reasons I stopped watching Survivor is because I'm not a fan of squabbles and drama. I felt for the women... I would have had a lot of the same health issues. Without my migraine and cramp pills, pads for my period, or face wash and lotion, I would have been a mess! I guess I'm high maintenance. lol I don't remember them ever showing that woman who left after a couple of days because she didn't want to drink the water. She had really long, decorated nails, so she didn't seem like the type who would have made it too far. It's nice that Marcus was going to give his money to his mom so she could buy a car. I realized the lord reminds me of Billy Mack from Love Actually. They have the same laugh.
  7. I actually teared up during the Anthony Daniels interview and was totally geeking out along with Josh. I'm glad so many of the interviewees tell Josh what a good job he does at interviewing. Even if the tweet was real, I'm sure the guy was thrilled to have his name read aloud by Josh.
  8. I think they were all found in city parks, which is what I meant. But I agree a national park would be different. But if Fenn doesn't release the name of the person who found it, not sure there's much the government could do. They wouldn't even be able to prove that the whole thing even happened.
  9. I would have to be paid a lot more money to endure what they went through. I know some did it for the experience, but being hungry and thirsty, and dirty and sunburned, is just not fun. The nurse said the 5,000 pounds she got would set her up for life, which I thought was strange. I'm actually surprised they all made it to the end. Good on them. I think production put the goat on the island, but do you think someone from production actually put the goat in the trap? Seems suspicious that it happened right before they got off the island. I can't believe that woman drank the water. I couldn't feel bad for her after she got sick. I'm glad we're getting a follow up episode next week.
  10. I think production was shut down and Josh was self isolating at home when the box was found. Because they never said who posted the message, it could just be a troll, or the message could be something super lame. I still think it's odd that Fenn won't say where the treasure was found. Even if it was found on someone else's land, if he doesn't disclose the finder, then I don't really see an issue. Also, it is interesting, as someone else said, that all The Secret boxes were found in parks, but the finders were all able to keep them. Not sure what the rules are there.
  11. I haven't seen it yet because I don't have Hulu. 🙁 But I've seen so many gifs from it that I feel like I've seen it. lol The fans on tumblr really love Pedro's character in it. Hopefully I'll get a chance to watch it soon.
  12. Here are some new stills from the show, along with character bios. I think it's odd that there isn't one of John's fiancé, Violet. Maybe all we need to know of her is what is written in John's bio. She also apparently has a cute little dog.
  13. That'd be fun! After Pedro's Inigo Montoya outfit, I'd love to see what he'd do for a homemade Mando outfit! 😆 And Baby Yoda could just be a pillow, like he had in ADR. lol
  14. Here's a short clip of Pedro as Inigo Montoya in Home Move: The Princess Bride on Quibi. His outfit is something else. 😂 But his voice is 😍. Very similar to Oberyn on Game of Thrones.
  15. I'm not sure why Gina is so surprised. I thought the photo clearly went against IG's TOS. I'm surprised it stayed up as long as it did. That post from Brendan was a bit strange. Lots of past tense, and I wonder what he meant by they protected each other. Assuming Pedro was on set more in season 2, hopefully it didn't cause any rifts.
  16. At the end, it sounded like they all decided that they would wait until the last day to see who was all left, and then decide if they wanted to split the money. But I don't know who's currently holding on to the 10K that they found. At least they have a parachute now! We'll see if they use it. It was hard watching that stingray being killed. Hopefully next time, if there is one, they have the person with the knife closer by. Also, where did they get a knife? I don't think they ever said what kind of items the contestants were allowed to bring with them. Also, Jack reminds me of a young Orlando Bloom.
  17. Apparently my DVR didn't record this episode, so I watched it on DiscoveryGo. Josh was definitely lax with the social distancing! One of my fav segments was him guessing the jerky flavors. Although he kinda stopped guessing for some of them. lol I was surprised at the shark jerky. I thought eating shark was not PC. During one of the commercial breaks, they briefly mentioned Fenn's treasure. Josh basically said, until the finder comes forward, or until they release a photo, stay tuned. I got the impression he was skeptical.
  18. Yep, there were 4. This is the guy who didn't get picked. Here's an article about Ryan Innes that had some interesting tidbits about the show. He's the guy who wrote Long Way Home and pitched it to Lady Antebellum Lady A, but it didn't get picked. It was later sung by a contestant on The Voice. Some interesting things: He had two songwriting sessions with Ester, each about 4 hours long. I'm not sure if I was expecting more or less. "Applying for “Songland,” Innes submitted anywhere from 12 to 15 original songs. “Long Way Home” came during his last round of submissions and rose to the top." "Producers told Innes they would actively try to get his and other contestants’ songs placed with artists" "The remaining contestants [of The Voice] were required to sing an original song, and in a new collaboration, “Songland” had pitched a few original songs to “The Voice.” Although the pastor already had other songs in mind, he decided to go with “Long Way Home.” And with help from Dean and country songwriter/record producer Shane McAnally, Tilghman made his mark on the song, adding in some new lyrics that reflected his own experiences." "Tilghman is the first artist to release “Long Way Home,” so the song is listed as his." That sorta sucks. The article talks about how Ryan would like to release his original version someday himself, but it might be difficult.
  19. I think this was the first time we had some writers who were not good singers. I thought the guy with the winning song was actually pretty bad. I think it's also the first time that my favorite song wasn't even chosen to be one of the three that got produced. Like Usher said, maybe it'll be a launching pad for the artist. Today, Fatherdude released the song on Youtube. Still can't believe he chose his stage name from MST3K. lol Also, I didn't realize this was the season finale. ☹️ Hopefully it gets picked up for a third season.
  20. I'm assuming you have a cable subscription that includes The Discovery Channel. If that's the case, you should be able to watch additional episodes using the Discovery Go app on your phone or computer, or directly from the website. Season 7 is currently available without having to sign in to your cable provider. https://go.discovery.com/tv-shows/expedition-unknown/
  21. I saw that still before I watched the episode, so I was watching for it while viewing the episode. I never saw it. The still must be from something else, or it was cut from the final episode.
  22. I think my first pick would be Mando vs. Moff Gideon's Tie fighter. Second would be Mando vs. the slew of prison droids.
  23. For me, the appeal of this show is the journey, not the destination. I love learning about the new places they visit, and the local customs and beliefs, and seeing Josh deal with the locals. I love Josh's sense of humor and his excitement during the search is infectious. Rarely do they actually find anything of significance. The two shows about The Secret remain my favorite.
  24. I think that's what he did, but they didn't show it. He was lamenting that he didn't want to walk back because it was so far, but he needed fire. They were showing the time stamps, and it didn't seem like he spent that much time looking. For a million dollars, I feel like he should have spent more time, at least until the sun went down. I don't know what the temperature was there at night, but I also wondered if he could have went a night without fire, and picked up the search the next morning. I dunno, he just seemed to give up on the search way too quickly.
  25. I was surprised the winning song won. A lot of times you can tell what song will win by the initial reaction of the group, but that wasn't the case here. I loved Ghosts. I'm hoping that singer can release it on her own. She has a nice voice. I agree that it's sometimes hard to understand the singers. The writers have the lyrics written out for them, so it might be nice for us viewers to have the lyrics displayed on the bottom of the screen. Next time I might try watching with the closed captioning on to see if it's accurate and helpful.
