  1. That's what I was thinking. The whole thing with the hoodie, I couldn't help but think of Community, though.
  2. I liked tonight's episode a lot. I liked how it tackled the inspiration porn issue - Kenneth realized that it went to his head and recognized that. I liked all of the plotlines tonight. Even the C-Plot of making the bathroom accessible - which I was wondering about.
  3. I like how they dealt with "inspiration porn" in tonight's episode I want them to have an episode that is an IEP meeting. I want to see how accurately they display the meeting. It'll probably be Maya goes in expecting a fight, then they agree to everything she asks for, even things she is just asking for to test them, then she has to show them how to put it in the IEP.
  4. I was thinking that when he was hallucinating - they'd break him out of it with Morse Code - they'd be like "he'll recognize the pattern with his subconscious which will break him out of the hallucination!"
  5. Welp. There's the name I am going to call him until I remember his name. Ebony Elon. Thanks! :D
  6. Oh man, I loved Journeyman. That was such a good show. The Writer's Strike had so many casualties. Like Pushing Daisies.
  7. This episode helped establish the procedural element of the show. I'll give it 2-3 episodes to see how it levels out.
  8. I was thinking that in both episodes so far. Also, that they should carry textbooks in the Eyeball to compare each new history they create. Well, history texts on a tablet, at least.
  9. Oh man, Space Camp was such a fun movie. I had it on VHS. Why was the inside of the space ship on this episode so huge? There was so much unused space.
  10. Very enjoyable episode. Wynn joining the DEO makes sense and doesn't make sense at the same time. The humor was nice.
  11. They probably slipped it to her when they were dressing her. Also, this episode was better than the pilot, a bit less exposition-y
  12. That was certainly an episode. Huh. I don't know what I just watched. But I might save it for Fridays to have a night full of schlock - MacGyver and Scorpion, together in crap.
  13. 1. The knew the area he was in, going to a bar in as good a place as any to start. 2. He's not Black & British Steve Jobs, he's Black & British Elon Musk (hence the "I have one of your electric cars!" comment)
  14. I'm going with "She remembers it because she was the cause of the change." With the bus comment, i'm guessing she'll start to disappear (Like with the villain in Frequency, or Marty McFly in Back To The Future) and will have to think on her feet to save herself
  15. Anyone else think that the episodes being called chapters mean they are part of Chidi's new book?
  16. JJ is the first disabled student at that school, judging by everything seen so far.
  17. I was very confused about how they had stuff on the floor, too.
  18. Yeah, in the movie, I believe it was Nightingale got into a car accident, but was home due to Frank's death, and the nurse on duty wasn't paying attention and Nightingale died. I'm cautiously optimistic about this, it all depends on how they handle things that the movie didn't cover.
  19. I imagine they would've granted him permanent residency before having him work on that program.
  20. I enjoyed the episode. Sure, the alternative bonfire and the staged prank were outrageous - but it was perfectly within suspension of disbelief. I'd say it was the strongest episode so far - they are fleshing out the characters at the right rate, it is nice to learn about the other characters. Though both of the sibling's subplots so far focusing on walking/movement in the two non-pilot episodes is a bit... odd and on-the-nose. Hopefully they have that out of their system. The new AAC board was entertaining, though I hope it is only for this episode. I like how we learned a bit about JJ before his current school - it sounds like before this, he was in an out of district placement in a multiply disabled school, based on the disabilities that Maya was rattling off. I'm guessing some people will have issue with the father saying that JJ being the way he is is an excuse and makes him bulletproof, but it is a sitcom - it's the third episode, he'll be fleshed out more.
  21. Perhaps wrt the cancer, in this reality, it was caught early - or maybe she got it through exposure to something through work and someone else got a job she got - lost it to one of the people born due to the different Hindenburg.
  22. The Hindenburg was taking off for a coronation in England. Also, with the "future gun" why didn't he just take an era-appropriate gun with him? They have enough time to get clothes and money.
  23. That was a horrible episode and so impossible. Ejector seats are controlled manually - not by a computer. Same with nukes - they are not connected to the internet. The sub might be, but they would have to do social engineering and even then they wouldn't be able to control it live, they would have to preprogram stuff in. Sure, i'll accept they were able to hack the planes, but even then... why disable the ejector seats? Imagine if the pilots had ejected and the planes were still flying? That'd be one hell of a demonstration for hackers. The episode was way too long, it did not need 2 hours - maybe an hour and a half, then they would've had an extra 20 minutes to play with. They could've done with a normal length episode, though. So.. uhh... was that plane like as fast as Superman? It flying so fast that it went back in time is the only way I can imagine that they got from LA to Bulgaria in 2 hours. Also, why didn't they have any support in Bulgaria? They would've at least had support from the CIA. This episode was just... mind numbing. It wasn't even fun to hate watch. At least Timeless was enjoyable.
