Well that was an episode. At the start of it, my thoughts were "Oh my god are they really going to have a brown guy be a terrorist? No no no, just have him be a guy having a bad day who happens to be in the place when whatever is going to happen happens. Well, that happened." "what the hell is the state department doing having a press conference about a domestic bombing?"

I can do zippers - if it is something on pants, I can do those, I just have to... clear the way first, to avoid anything painful happening. With something like a coast, I have to look at it or I might miss the part that you put the zipper in to secure it or however you'd phrase it. I've been looking at magnetic dress shirts lately, but they are *expensive* (like $60 a shirt) and they look so... old. Like the kind of dress shirt you would see on a 70 year old. Remember in one of the episodes, she mentioned how she had a mom's group from one of JJ's earlier schools? Maybe it is that group, since it seems like a regular thing, the mom's group. -
Yeah, that made me laugh a lot.

I just have mild CP - mostly affects my strength and motor skills/coordination - and buttons are *hell* for me. I can barely do giant buttons - a normal dress shirt is just difficult to the point of frustration - easier to just have someone help me unbutton it than waste time.

That was a good episode. Needed some laughs after this election. The trophies were funny - then Dylan ruining it for Ray at the end. The principal was funny this episode - "Oh no, she isn't yelling, she must be really mad!" "Ooh! That'll make the letter so much more fun!" JJ and the teacher looking like the poster made me chuckle, too.

Karl isn't really a serial killer - no real MO - more of a serial murderer

There is a lot of debate over the various labels. Ultimately, it is down to the person (or their parent). Some like person first language, while some find it offensive. Also, mainstreaming has its purpose - inclusion is not for every student. There are some students who need a self contained placement. There is no one-size-fits-all placement. I am torn over the term special needs - I would say it is a very situational term. As long as they don't use the r word or call me a cripple (I'm not even in a wheelchair. Not saying that to justify the use of that term ever, but, uhhh, yeah), I am usually okay with whatever term they choose when referring to me. -
I decided to watch this tonight to have a bit of a ridiculous respite from this toxic election. That was a good choice. The plot was completely and utterly ridiculous and made me want to tear my hair out, but it was am episode of Scorpion. Just the popcorn show I needed. Also, I want more Walter & Ralph moments like that. Ralph's actor is much better than he has been in the past.

Was Hank even in the episode? Maybe couldn't afford to have him in the episode? Also, they need to abandon whatever relationship plans they had for Kara and have her hook up with Lena. Make her bisexual - not a lot of bi characters on TV, but tonight, the sparks were flying between those two. I'd say it was accurate, since Alex was having a bit of an identity crisis.

I was not attacking you - I was just stating some stuff - as a lot of people confuse SSI and SSDI, not saying that you would, but a lot (more than you think) of people conflate them. I didn't get SSI until I was 20 (applied a month and a half after turning 18, though), because my parents were never told about it - I received one SSI check a few months after I was born, then nothing else, so my parents assumed that I was ineligible for it after that. There was a period of time there where my parents could've used a SSI check, but nobody told them that SSI was a thing for disabled children. New vacations, new clothes, new furniture - those are all luxuries that a lot of people don't get. I didn't go on a vacation until I was 11, most of our clothes were bought in the clearance section (Or with coupons, coupons are great!) and I think the first non garage sale piece of furniture we got was a couch we got when I was 13 - it was a little while after the bill we still had from my birth was forgiven, around when we got my braces - my dad put the braces on the home equity line of credit, what was a few hundred bucks added onto it when it was $4000 for the braces (I had an overbite, an underbite, and a crossbite - made it more expensive than normal for the standard metal braces). -
That was a stupid billionaire. There was the value of the intel from the facility - and they had support from the French military.
-
SSI and Disability are different. They *did* pay the OT out of pocket in the second episode - well, they had to pay a cancellation fee. Since it is a family of 5 - two ineligible children, the parents have to earn less than $4,525 a month for a disabled child to qualify for SSI - https://www.ssa.gov/ssi/text-child-ussi.htm

Good episode, felt a bit off, though. Maybe because it was supposed to air last week?

I just have no idea how Walter isn't already in the country on an Exceptional Individual visa - they would've easily fast tracked it for him and given him citizenship, especially since he routinely works with classified information (And even some Eyes Only material, like when that nuclear sub needed assistance).
-
They said in the pilot that Flynn killed his wife and children.
-
Decent episode, but I would've liked if Wyatt had been replaced - or if they had brought in the military guy as an alternate, as Wyatt is the most likely one among them to get injured.
-
Dichen was great in Dollhouse. She wasn't great in this, hope she can do better in future episodes, though
-
Yeah, I think the Goblin King is the hacker, too.

Pretty sure they are still boyfriend-girlfriend

If it had some awesome music, it would be this decade's Malcolm in the Middle.

Only Janet can operate the train, right? I want to see Bad Janet.

I'm thinking they they helped JJ into his wheelchair - based on how they have acted in earlier episodes, they seem like they would think of JJ first -get him in the chair, while maintaining their fervor. And, well, running into the parents room without JJ while frantic would give the parents a heart attack.
-
I'm wondering if their bedroom is the larger one - since there was a decent amount of room in there for JJ's bed, then Ray & Dylan's bunk bed. I like how this show is realistic. I think they are saving Jimmy's job for another episode. I hope it is something good.

That episode was hilarious

That was a fun episode. Though after JJ got drunk, I was worried about him aspirating vomit - but he was on his side before the tag, so that was good. I really liked this episode. Sucks that there isn't one next week, though.
