  1. And I think that is a really interesting point that I haven't thought of. I truly wonder why she is still friends with Jennifer after she found out that she slept with Thomas. Kathryn was angry at her in the season 2 finale because she said she was always around. I wonder what changed?
  2. I am thinking that Thomas might need to double wrap as well since he has been with 5 known women (who knows how many more) since he started dating Kathryn. That alone would make me never want to go back to him again. I hope that is forever over between the two of them.
  3. I think a lot can be said about this episode. What got me thinking the most was what everyone was saying. Everyone who was/is friends with Kathryn said she is a great person when Thomas is not involved. Once he became involved or is around, she loses it. The fact that Thomas cheated on her while she was pregnant with Jennifer and several other women says a lot about her behavior as well. She is scorned, bitter, and hormonal. Every single one of those people judge her for getting knocked up and being humiliated by Thomas while she remained faithful to him, yet no one so much as questions Thomas and his character. They praise him and want to be around him. It is very two faced! They both should be judged equally, but obviously one has more pull and connections than the other. Cameron has no problem being around Thomas or Whitney, yet they both are scum. No one has a problem being around Shep who sleeps with anything with legs. It is sad how people can completely support one person and accept them for their nastiness yet they can't see he bigger picture. The only ones I have seen on and off the show that truly get it are Danni and Craig. And Kathryn had every right to blow up at Whitney and if Cameron doesn't understand that, then she has issues. I pray that her husband never cheats on her, but if she is anything like the person she is portraying on the show, I give him a year before he starts to step out. Kathryn clearly stated that he and Thomas went to a strip club while she was pregnant. While my finger would be pointing at Thomas and I would have dropped him like garbage, she had every right to be mad at him and to call him out. You just don't do that.
  4. Can it be used in court? Lawyers would have to prove that the reactions that we have seen were not created by producers, correct? I know that Corey Sims of Teen Mom 2 tries to use footage in his custody case with his ex wife and he wasn't able to because the show is pieces together. The girl was driving high and was falling asleep at the wheel with he kids in the backseat, but he still wasn't able to use it in court because there was no proof that drugs are what caused that incident and they couldn't use it because it was pieces together.
  5. I have a feeling that the whole Elizabeth/JD story is made up for production. Kathryn has been going to acting classes and apparently they are friends. I know a lot of storylines are completely morphed into somethings they aren't, but would production go this far to create a storyline that is so off the wall crazy?!?!?
  6. I see Kathryn getting a lot of flack for not liking the Plantation and the carriage house. I never got the feeling that she hated living in those places because of location. I got the feeling that she didn't like living there because Thomas was gone all the time. I think she could have easily lived at the plantation had Thomas made an effort to be home instead of partying in Charleston on his fake political trail. He wanted to be out doing his own thing while Kathryn stayed at home with Kensie. Once he moved her into the carriage house, he did the exact same thing. In my opinion, it was never about the houses and the locations.
  7. LOL!! I hate autocorrect! Thank you for noticing it! LOL! She definitely is not anti vacation!
  8. I think what he said came out wrong. I am the daughter of a Sgt.Major and the wife of a Staff Sgt. in the Army. While the military life is truly awesome, it is also very emotional and it messes with children emotionally. I have lived the military life my entire life and I will admit that I love it until I had children and then I really disliked it. For me, it is easy to go months on end without seeing my dad or husband, but it truly emotionally messes with my children. It is harder for them to focus on school, soccer games aren't as fun without Dad and Papa, and nighttime stories aren't the same without Dad in bed. The military lifestyle puts a lot of stress on the children that children should never have to feel and I think that is what Jo was saying. I could be wrong, but that is what I got from it.
  9. Kathryn was psycho crazy on this episode. I seriously believe that something is mentally wrong with her other than being spoiled, but I also believe there is a whole lot more to the story than what was shown.. I am seriously curious as to what has gone down between Kathhryn and JD/wife.
  10. Those smocked dresses are actually quite popular in the South right now and can be quite expensive. The most popular brands are Matilda Jane, Eleanor Rose, Well Dressed Wolf, and Southern Tots. These dresses are anywhere between $60-$150 depending on what company you buy from. My daughter is 6 and she wears this clothing but not the smocked dresses as they are more for toddlers. On HGTV's Fixer Upper, Joanna Gaines's daughters wear Matilda Jane and so do Jessica Robertson's daughters on Duck Dynasty. It really is a thing in the South.
  11. Unfortunately, that can sometimes mean very little. My father owed my mom $18,000 (more I believe) in child support and always bailed on my pick up times. Most of the time he never showed up. My mom went through the courts to get his checks garnished and even lessen the payments so she was able to get something, but they never did a thing except put him in jail repeatedly. It never changed the situation because custody was never eliminated nor was payments. As far as I know from both Kathryn and Thomas's Twitter rants, there are no agreements drawn up at all. According to Thomas, Kayhryn never responds to his drawn up agreements and according to Kathryn, she didn't know of these agreements. It is a circus.
  12. I believe Kathryn has said that Thomas doesn't show up when he is suppose to. He was going to get th kids over Valentine's Day weekend, but he ditched them by going to Washington, DC with the new blonde. She has also said through comments via Instagram and Twitter that he only wants the kids when it is convenient for him and I can totally see that. However, I don't get why she doesn't take him to court to get child support and a set visitation. By doing so, it protects the whole situation and leaves a paper trail for his failures (not paying and not showing up). I think in some ways she is afraid to leave the kids with Thomas and she is afraid for him to get visitation period or she is afraid that he will make a smear campaign of her in court and he will be granted the 50/50 custody that he wants.
  13. Right?!? I am shocked that she is anti vacation considering Javi's job. The military makes you have up to date shots and the fact that he travels would scare me when he comes home if my child was not vaccinated.
  14. I believe this is where she went wrong and she is from a new generation of "Southern Belles". These girls are not as old fashioned as they used to be. Now, they just have to be "kept". They aren't expected to cook dinner at night and half the time they aren't expected to clean or take care of the kids. I am very old fashioned. I have a degree, got married young, and had a baby at a young age. Two weeks before I graduated from college I found out I was pregnant on the day my husband deployed to Iraq. I worked while I was pregnant, but after I had my daughter, I took off a year. During that year, our house was spotless. I had a cooked dinner every single night from scratch. My husband never got up at night to tend to our colicky baby. I never left the house without my child. At he same time, I also had a friend who had a baby and was a SAHM. A week after the baby was born, she was out with some of our friends and drinking. She ordered in food four nights a week and had a woman come over and clean the house twice a week. It was nothing for her to leave her child while she went out or went to the gym on a daily basis. As long as she looked good to her husband, she was golden and considered he ultimate SAHM. This is the new generation and unfortunately, Kathryn fits the new mold. I believe this is where a lot of the confusion sits in between Kathryn and Thomas. He wanted the old fashioned SAHM and she is a more modern SAHM. He wanted the hot meals as soon as he walked in, a clean house, a kept woman, and happy kids while he was able to do his own thing. She wanted all of his attention and to live a cushiony life. Their generational differences ultimately ruined these two. Even now, at 29 years old, I am a SAHM to two kids who parents a lot on my own because my husband is in the military. I do all the cooking, cleaning, and baby raising. Still at 29, in Tennessee, I am the only one out of my many of friends who is considered old fashioned. Everyone else is living their teen years in their late twenties with children and a husband.
  15. RedHawk, you perfectly analyzed their relationship!!!! Amazing post!! I will add though that I feel sad for Kathryn. I know that she got herself into this mess, but I feel like her attitude and bitterness is just a cover up from being so hurt. I differ from your post because I truly believe she loved Thomas or at least loved the idea of being married to Thomas. Living in the South, it is not uncommon for a young woman in her twenties to want to settle down with an older man who can take care of her and be the trophy wife. It actually happens a lot. I think she fell in love with the good time, sweet talking Thomas who pretended to basically be obsessed with her. He made her feel good about herself and she LOVED it. I think she had a rough pregnancy with Kensie. She has talked about it and I think that took a toll on her. She gained a lot of weight and he cheated on her while she was pregnant. That "physicality" that she had was gone when she got pregnant. She wasn't fun anymore. As much as Thomas wanted the family life, he really didn't. He wanted to say he did and still enjoy the life he has always loved. He failed her in his promises and he completely failed her in taking care of his children. The 50 year old man was less ready to become a father and husband than the 20 year old. I believe that she is angry and bitter that he didn't give her the life he promised and he was the father and significant other that he said he would be. It wasn't shortly after Kensie was born that he decided to take on politics again. He moved from downtown and moved Kathryn into the plantation away from everyone. Now, this wouldn't be so bad for someone who would also have the significant other home at regular times and be there for support. Instead, he was out going to parties and enjoying the political life without her and his child. Again, the physicality was gone and she had gained weight (even though I thought she looked beautiful with more weight). I think he became embarrassed and he even made a few mentions of it. She led a very lonely life after having Kensie. I think she might have done better if he was home with her to support her and grow as a family, but she was very much a single parent during that time (with the help of a nanny). She seemed to truly work on their relationship. She attempted the SAHM status and even took those classes to refine herself. He never tried to do anything for their relationship. He made the baby and scooted out. I think that is where all the anger comes from. She covers it up with this vile attitude that just isn't very becoming. I also find it sad that none of the other cast could understand it or support her. If anything, they should have pushed her to move on and explain that that is not life. Life should not be like that. Instead, they wanted point fingers at her while partying and supporting TRav.
  16. Holy cow! Did everyone see the dinner speech sneak peak? I knew Thomas was crazy and a drunk, but his true colors really came through in that segment. I pray that it is all show, because it is hard to believe that someone could be so nasty and vile.
  17. Keeping chugging that beer Maci because you are at least 15 weeks pregnant there
  18. I honestly believes she drinks while pregnant. There is no way she doesn't know. In the waist trainer picture from 10 weeks ago, you can clearly see her bump in the picture. You can clearly see her baby bump in the picture at the Outback Bowl.
  19. I am so done with the storylines right now. Can Caroline and Ridge please return?
  20. I am absolutely blown away by Tyler and Cait! I am a SAHM with a 2 year old, a 5 year old who goes to school, an 18 month old I babysit, and a 4 month old that I babysit. My husband is in the military and is gone all the time. My mom lives next door and my 2 year old has never spent the night over there and my 5 year old spent the night nearly a year ago. The last time my husband and I went anywhere without our children was 2 years ago. What is so stressful in their life that they have to hand their child over so much? Why do they always just sit around? They have to be the laziest people I know! I don't think they would know how to be adults/parents even if they tried. I refuse to let their circumstances be an excuse because my father was a drug addict/alcoholic my whole life and while my mother was fantastic, she never showed any kind of affection. I have turned out to be a good mom. They seriously have the potential to do great things and be amazing parents to the little girl that they have, but I don't think they truly wanted a child. I believe that Nova is a sympathy child to replace their first child. They wanted this baby so bad, but they weren't ready to give up their lifestyle of pure laziness and work for it.
  21. How bad is the flooding? Is it continuing to rain in Charleston? What about historical locations? Flooding is not fun at all. I remember the 2010 floods in Nashville when the waters went above stranded semi trucks on the interstate and went as high as second story buildings and homes. I was 7 months pregnant with a husband in Iraq. It was scary. I pray for everyone's safety in Charleston and surrounding areas!
  22. The recent pictures she has posted makes me think she hasn't gained half the weight she did with her daughter. Her face looks very slim.
  23. Has it ever been confirmed that Thomas and Caroline had sex? If they did, I am shocked! Why is there not more evidence on Thomas's part in his memory montages?!?!?
  24. Also, was she pregnant during the reunion? Wasn't it in May? That makes things a little more interesting!
  25. I think she misses doing stuff with her friends, but I also don't think it is as much as we think. I am a 28 year old SAHM with two kiddos and a husband who is always gone (military) and I can honestly say that I miss my friends too. Not because I miss going out, but I miss just being with them and talking to them and it is the same for my friends. I only have two children. Most of my friends have 5+ kids. Plus, I feel like I give Kathryn a hard time, but to be honest, she is with Kenzie a lot. She is with her all the time. If she is not with her, Kenzie is with her father. I don't think Kathryn is as horrible as I make her out to be. I really think she might have turned her life around. Is she immature? Absolutely! She is 24. She has a lot to learn and a lot to live. It could be worse though. She could be getting into bar fights.... oh wait, that is the 50 year old father of the children :)
