And Thomas, or any man, would be ignorant to trust birth control as a preventative. Thomas is in his 50's. That means that for at least thirty years he has prevented pregnancy. He knows where babies come from and how they get there! He knew he could get babies from Kathryn and he did it. I think every single one of my friends have gotten pregnant on birth control. I am the only one who was married when it happened, twice. If he didn't want kids, birth control and a condom would have worked best.

Yet, she just laughs it off and still insists that he is an gentleman even after he made some petty comments that alluded that they had sex. Landon might be as crazy as Kathryn. I don't know if she is acting this way or doing all of this for the show, but she has to be the dumbest person I have ever heard. She just doesn't know when to stop and everything she said on the reunion was for a purpose. That purpose was to set off Kathryn! She knew exactly what she was doing and it was absolutely disgusting. Kathryn needs help. It has been discussed on her Twitter and among others that she does indeed suffer from being Bi-Polar. She is on the brink of a mental breakdown and Landon was just feeding it. She needs some help fast. Her reactions on the reunion were from someone who was just done. She is totally checked out. I did see where she posted a picture of herself in LA this past weekend. Any chances she has checked into a rehab there? She has not posted any pictures with the kids since Thomas got 50/50 and it appears that he has had them consistently since then.

I definitely feel the mental instability. I also suspect her being bipolar. It is pretty clear from those paparazzi videos. I also believe that she is in a very bad place right now partially due to her life decisions and the fact Thomas is a total tool, she is scorned, and he has drug her through the mud but continues to come out of everything looking like an angel to all of these people. Everyone on the show supports him and doesn't even blink an eye at his wrong doings or everything he has done to Kathryn. Yet, Kathryn blows up for legit reasons and she is a crazy psycho and they can't be around him. It is funny that he can blow up like a crazy man at the dinner party and they laugh it off. If Kathryn did what Thomas did, they would try to press charges against her. She is beat down! While she has made rather miserable life choices, I feel for her. Her world is caving in and everyone is laughing at her. Thomas is a pretty powerful and wealthy many with some substantial family backing. He will always win and will always coming out looking sparkly clean. Always! I don't care if Kathryn was an angel and did nothing. Thomas would still be acting and doing the exact same thing. It is who he is. She would still be drug through the mud if she was an angel!

I definitely think she has some daddy issues buy in exactly the way you put it. She wants to seek someone out who is financial stable and wants security. I think that is something we all want as women and I don't find her a gold digger in the slightest. I think she fell for Thomas's promises and she felt secure. She thought she was going to be taken care of. I think she has daddy issues in the sense that she only wants to strap down to older men. Again, I have no problem with that because older men are also my thing. My idea that she has daddy issues stems from the fact that she has only dated men that are older than 35. This goes for men prior to the show. I don't take the daddy issues as a problem because I have them as well, but I feel a problem might lie in her childhood as to why she is this way. I know why I am, but I wonder why she is.

I have always dated older men until I married my husband (who is only a few years older than me), but I have never in my life acted like her. I am not sure if it has ever been brought up, but I would like to know more about her childhood. I fear something might have happened as a child. I could be totally wrong, but I sense there is more to the story. I also think she was very spoiled and got her way a lot. Being in the South, there are a lot of kids who grow up in well known families that can do no wrong or people turn their head because they are such and such. You can hear all their wrong doings, but people will deny them left and right because "she is a precious, church going girl from a good family".

I really feel like some serious shady stuff is going on that we have no clue about. After finally seeing the reunion, it is obvious that Kathryn is extremely unstable. She is in the verge of a break down and appears to be bi-polar. She needs some serious help and she also needs to have her meds reevaluated. As posters above have said, many antidepressants can make people even more depressed and manic. I also feel like Thomas is the leading cause of this craziness and Kathryn is like a moth to a flame. She doesn't know how to just stop and realize that they are trying to get under her skin. She just dives in head first into the drama instead of trying to resist it. She is a super easy target. She got sucked in by Thomas's lies and he got exactly what he wanted. Kathryn's bullcrap response on how in the heat of the moment you sometimes forget protection was the most idiotic thing I have ever heard. Kathryn is a breeding machine for Thomas. You can't tell me that a man in his 50's who has gone this long without kids simply forgets protection because it was in the heat of the moment. One of them or both of them knew exactly what they were doing. I am curious about the drug test though. From what I could remember from several of the gossip sites, it is said that Kathryn and her lawyers requested the drug tests. If this is true, why would she want to take a test if she has been on drugs?!?!? I don't think Kathryn's claim of Thomas paying off the lab worker too far fetched. I think it would be more believable if they both tested positive. I don't doubt that Kathryn possibly did drugs. I highly doubt that it is possible for Thomas to pass a drug test

I might be taking it too far, but I wouldn't put it past him to pay someone off to get good results. We live in the south where this happens all the time. He seems pretty "desperate" to see his kids and there is no way that in the dinner party scene he wasn't high. His whole speech and the scene in Kathryn's house was totally cocaine related.

I really hope she didn't do anything illegal while pregnant. She seems like a fairly intelligent person. If she did any drugs or drink while pregnant, she is a disgusting human being! I mean filth! If she did and continues to point fingers at Thomas about doing drugs, I feel like she might have a legit and hardcore mental/personality disorder. She could possibly be an addict and that could attribute her need to do drugs while pregnant all the while ignoring the dangers to get high. Or, she could simply be really screwed up to not see or care about the dangers. Either way, pregnant or not pregnant, it is disgusting.

Based on their two recent accounts of events, I am thinking maybe all of this went down in the summer? I just wondered if she was signed up for classes in the fall with the intention of going and then dropped out before the new school year started. That is the only sense I could make of this senseless couple.

I think she really fell for him and he used her. I also feel like he "preyed" on her in a sense that she comes from good southern stock. In an article posted several weeks ago, it states that he knew about her way before the show. He stated that they (politicians) called her "Senate Barbie". He sought her out in many ways and made big promises to a girl who saw glitter and gold. Being in the south, many are always told to marry well and marry young. I bet more than anything she thought this was her chance and she went for it. He made promises and took them back because he wanted her for a good time and to reproduce. She was young and fertile and took the bait. I totally get why she I bitter. I get it 100% and see it too much. I think she is mad for being stupid and young. I also think she is mad because fell into his trap and got played. I bet she wasn't use to that at all. I also don't believe that she is money hungry. I do believe that she saw Thomas as someone who was financially stable and could take care of her and their family without trouble. I can't hold that against her as I couldn't imagine marrying someone who was financially unstable.

So much yes to this!!! I went 42 weeks naturally with my first. My doctor explained that I was extremely healthy and baby girl was extremely healthy so there was no need to induce and just let nature take its course. With my second child, he had kidney reflux and I had to go to Vanderbilt to measure his weight and kidneys. By 35 weeks, he was already at 8lbs. They expected him to be 10lbs or more by 40 weeks but there was never any talk about induction. I ended up having him at 37 weeks in 30 minutes and he was only 8lbs9oz. I have never known a doctor to induce based on patient discretion. I live in a military town where , if that were possible, it would make life so much easier and less stressful. I think most of this talk is for storyline purposes or due to the lack of knowledge of "birthing babies". These people all seem pretty clueless when it comes to raising children and giving birth. Landon might top the list. I feel like JD, while probably supportive, was not one of those spouses that was all up in the monthly doctor visits.

I might not agree with you a lot, but this post was right on the money. I truly believe that Kathryn loves Thomas in her own jacked up way, but he literally drives her to the brink of insanity. Love can only get so far when one is constantly unfaithful. She comes off looking like an angry fool while Thomas is just Thomas to everyone around them. I think she thought she could change his ways, but that didn't happen. He was all for her until she had Kensie and then things went downhill from there. She wasn't the same Kathryn she was before and he was done. As much as he wanted kids, he didn't want the life that goes along with it.

He is a piece of work to leave his child in the cafe of a nanny while Kathryn is on modified bed rest. I think the fact that he would go to LA says a lot more about him than Kathryn's hissy fit. I don't know if Kathryn is telling the truth but she has said many times that he would bail on Kensie and now the little guy to go off somewhere when he was supposed to have them. The fact that he would do this so close to labor makes me believe her more. He might talk about his children being his priority, but they are not.

It is so obvious that this cast has very limited knowledge of pregnancy and birth. I feel like at their age they should know more. We had a friend who had high blood pressure. At 25 weeks into her pregnancy, her baby died before they could get to her. It was sad and still is. Also, knowing that Kathryn's blood pressure was high enough to induce labor at not exactly the safest time could explain some of her anxiety and erratic behavior. A lot of times behaviors like she has exhibited specifically this season can be heightened due to blood pressure. She has previously said that she had blood pressure issues with Kensie, but I don't believe it was as risky as it was with this pregnancy. She said she was very sick with the first pregnancy as well.

An early induction is to prevent that happening, but with high blood pressure, she could go at any time. They scheduled Kat's induction for a time when the baby's development wasn't as critical. To me, Thomas not going to LA has nothing to do with Kathryn. He needs to be there for his child no matter how difficult the situation. He created the child too and knew exactly the kind of woman she was when he decided to have a child with her. He doesn't have to do a thing for her, but he needs to be present for his children, convenient or not.

Yes!!! This was not a necessity trip that involved work. It involved a vacation for Thomas while Kathryn was on modified bed rest. The two of them are not together but for someone to continually blabber about how much more time he wants with his kids, he has a poor time spending time with his kids. I found out I was pregnant the day my husband deployed to Iraq. He worked his butt off to come home two weeks before our daughter was born because he knew that anywhere from 4 weeks to my due date was crucial because I could go into labor at any time. He made it happen. They finished their mission early. That is a dad. He wasn't planning vacations before labor. He just wanted to be home for the birth. Thomas is selfish. He wants to see his children and be a family man when it is convenient for him. He wants them at his shows so he can pretend he is a dad. He wants to be a dad when he isn't off traveling to wherever he wants to go. That isn't how parenthood works Thomas.

Was it ever stated if she was on birth control? I will be honest and say that some women are just fertile. I am. I was on birth control both times I got pregnant. I never missed a pill and I took them religiously. Even after my husband had a vasectomy, I stayed on bc just because I was afraid that I would still get pregnant. I doubt she was on any form of bc, but I don't want to bash her for not being on it if she was.

From what I have read, she does not have the nanny on a full time basis. The nanny was present during this time due to the modified bed rest and the weight limit for lifting.

It is like they don't want either to be happy. If they can't be together, no one is going to be happy. Super sad for the kids. Also, I am curious about the eviction. I wonder if she has been evicted yet? She just posted a picture of planting flowers with Kensie that appeared to be at the house. Also, if she moved in there in October, that is a whole lot of months to go without paying. If she is late and Thomas pays the rent, after two months, she should have been evicted based on late payments. We have rental properties and that is always our rule.
