  1. I'm pretty sure it had something to do with other dimensions. I had this vague thought that Two would turn out to be from elsewhere at the time. But I may be misremembering or someone may have put a memory blocker on me in stasis.
  2. The whole game turns on your fantasy. If there is some way to get James to really see that he needs to work with Vanessa against the Three Amigos then there is hope that someone else could win. Then Vanessa puts up Liz, all hell breaks loose and there is a possibility that Austin and Julia simply self destruct. But does James know that he needs to do that. Or will Vanessa simply use Steve as a pawn and then they will vote out Meg?????
  3. If he been faking amnesia then the Android would have to be part of the plot since she tested them all. But i suppose that is also possible and maybe why she was losing objectivity (if we go with the classic androids don't lie storyline).
  4. Well android obviously won't be in a prison but let's not forget that 1, 3, and 5 have all committed serious crimes since the season started including attacking those corporate soldiers in the beginning and progressing to breaking into a space lab and killing all sorts of people etc. Two only goes to a biolab if they rat her out. 3 has just committed several major crimes etc. 4 is the only tricky one although I suppose it is possible that even in that world extradition takes a long time. So the question would be would they get out in time before 2 and 4 are really turned in. I don't think 6 was thinking things through when he told 5 she would be okay. She was at least the accomplice to a lot of heavy duty criminal activity. I doubt the GA would look too kindly on that.
  5. What was odd about his explanation is it seemed that he was saying that she didn't intend to wipe everyone's memories with the emphasis on everyone. So she was planning on wiping 2 and 4 and it somehow spread? How would that work I wonder. He also seems to imply pretty strongly that they have, in fact, been captured by the GA and it is not some fakeout by Six.
  6. I don't think that Five was being sketchy in deleting Android 2. She might have asked her if she saw who attacked the android but since Android 2 said that she wasn't connected to the ship Five might not have thought of it. And she was trying to keep the Android from being reset. Maybe it was silly to worry about that but who knows. I assumed that Two and Four were talking about 6. That they had discovered that he was connected to the GA in some way and that 5 had deleted the memories to protect him. I'm not sure why else the GA officers would allow him to walk freely at the end. (Although the recruitment at the pods is possible). I suppose their only hope now is that android has some super, super secret backup so that she will save them. If that is the case they will be lucky Five didn't listen to android 2.
  7. I don't expect her to do this but the more I think about it if Vanessa actually wants to win as opposed to just staying around as long as possible she has to take a bit shot this week. I know that she won't put up the Austwins directly and will go instead with James and Meg. But if one of them gets taken off the block her only real chance is to backdoor Liz. Julia is weak at the comps and Austwin will be so flipped out that for all of his anger he will probably screw up the HOH. Of course this depends on John and Steve following through and one of them winning the following HOH and putting Julia and/or Austin up. In fact, the DE makes this a better plan since they would have less time to recover. Obviously if it doesn't work (say Steve and John double-cross her and vote to keep Liz) she will be finished. But I don't see how she can do more than just be a hanger-on if they get to the final 6 (after this week's DE) with the Austwin's making up half the house. She is too scared to have the "blood on her hands" but she needs to take a shot or she is done.
  8. My guess is that eventually we will learn it was misdirection and that he was putting her there to either fool someone else or because it was actually a protected space.
  9. They need to nominate Liz and Austin. Although i like Julia the best of the three she is the worst at competitions. So nominating L and A is the greatest chance of getting 1 of the three out next week. And it should probably be Liz because then Austin will fold up like a chair, Julia would switch to Vanessa and someone not the Austwins might have a chance to win. If they only get Austin out the twins will just be happy and use Vanessa as a shield.Edited to add that it is their greatest chance because they can put up julia if one of the nominees wins POV.
  10. I wonder if James and Meg have felt on the outside for so long that they are unable to think past their joy at being "included" by the cool kids. It really would make the most sense for them to flip this week and keep john. Then they have both john and the returning house guest. Even if it is Jackie they have time to try to make her see that next week is the last really good shot at the Austwins. But if they let John go they are down a vote next week.
  11. John has shown interest in several women. They have gotten killed. So i think the life insurance commenr covers him as well.
  12. That is true but i was thinking of after paradise and wondering if something that starts out as totally ridiculous can actually jump the shark.
  13. I wonder: is it possible for a show as ridiculous as this one to jump the shark? Because if so i think it did when Jenny M and the polled viewers decided that: even though the difference between Sam and Joe's stories was that Joe was claiming that they had both planned out being together and been in lots of communication while Sam was claiming they hadn't AND the producers had shown us Sam telling Joe to lie about how much they had been in contact--they decided to believe Sam.
  14. I think the star trek show was not about them doing something horrible but rather they had passes through the spade of a more powerful alien species and the only way to keep them from destroying the enterprise was to wipe the memories. But it kept failing.
  15. On your first point i think thry deliberately went into the pods so they should have been dressed that way. 5 either did it or more likely was found by whoever was deleting the memories and thrown into a pod.
  16. Another interview with the showrunner: http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/killjoys-season-finale-spoilers-michelle-816593
  17. I think that they are trying to set up an impending conflict between One and Three. There was the moment when Three finally accepted One because he realized that One just never had had an excuse to want revenge enough to hate someone. And then One gave Three what we are supposed to take as a meaningful look related to his wife. Of course they will dodge it by having Three be innocent. On the other hand, if they go through with it maybe we can get rid of One.
  18. I thought this was a surprisingly good episode. Lots of good action, tension, and humor. Although you had ro know that Two was going to send that guy off into space. But i also thought that it reinforced one of the problems with the way the show has unfolded. Wexler's crew was in reality what people THINK the Raza crew is (super tough and vicious mercenaries--the woman lasted longer against 2 than did the soldiers in body suits). But as we have learned about all the backstories it is hard to believe that the Raza crew was ever like that--unless the real Corso and the pre-stasis Two were forcing them to behave that way. For all of their tough guy acts 3,4, and 6 just don't have callous mercenary written all over them. On the other hand, corso did. And now we get the possibility that Original Two might have. Personally, i can't say there was any reason for her to let him go and they couldn't exactly get a reward for Wexler. So in that situation letting him live might be dangerous. But it is possible that whereas all the other crew members are trying to be more unfeeling than they were, maybe Two was rying to be more feeling. I wonder if she wiped their memories because they discovered who/what she is.
  19. Why does what she says make Johnny a female character in disguise. And yes, she could change her mind. But at least we know the way the plot has been designed as opposed to the way some people seem to be insisting it has to be.
  20. Is it just me or did Jordan's makeup just look like Darth Maul but with different coloring?
  21. @wynterwolf Yes, i was thinking of that speculation about D'avin and the abuse since it certainly would make him a more complex and sympathetic character. The interview with the showrunner is also interesting for shooting down the UST arguments about Dutch and John.
  22. There is also an interesting discussion there about Macfarlane's take on D'avin's side of the abandonment question. I'm never sure what the rules are about other sites etc so people should look if they are interested.
  23. That makes it a lot more sensible then. I suppose the notion is that if you try something you would be electro-shocked. But D'avin is beyond that pain threshold. Thanks.
  24. That was my assumption. Although as someone said upthread having electronic handcuffs that can be shorted that way is pretty stupid. What if your prisoner goes out in the rain?
