S03.E08: The Ladies in The High Castle
SweetieDarling replied to OnceSane's topic in Ladies Of London [V]
I don't know if Marissa has PPD but I do think part of her issue is that she spent so long on sober bedrest and now that the baby is here and the danger is over she's antsy to get out and do things and be social and fun and feel alive again, except that she hasn't given herself enough time to heal and recover. As if recovering from childbirth isn't enough with the hormone swings and sleepless nights, etc., she's been through hell, and add in the stresses from the businesses closing... It's going to take some time to recover.- 46 replies

S07.E07: It's Expensive To Be Me
SweetieDarling replied to Tara Ariano's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
I completely agree. I have no personal experience living/dealing with an addict the way these women are/have, so excuse me if my question is naive, but I really don't see how reopening wounds and dwelling on what the addicts low points were can be helpful in their current recovery. If Kim is struggling every day to maintain whatever level of sobriety she has, I don't think it's helpful to stress her with old arguments about how she behaved during some of her low moments. Yes, she's been nasty and mean to people, but if they truly wanted to help her they'd let the past be the past and deal in the present situation. Jmo, like I said, this is far from my area of expertise. And who the F does Rinna think she is blabbing about Kim's sobriety or lack thereof when she KNOWS Kyle doesn't want it talked about!?!? How is Rinna an expert on Kim's condition? Kyle doesn't talk to her about it, Kim doesn't talk to her about it,... As soon as she started defining "enabler" I thought for sure we're going to have a new munchenhausen thing. To me, the lunch looked like an attempt at an intervention for Kyle. I was surprised she didn't try to change the subject. -

..and yet it never (EVER) occurs to her to try a different approach. It's like when someone doesn't understand English well we, for whatever reason, tend to speak louder. -
Kyle Richards: Pantene Poster Girl
SweetieDarling replied to Lisin's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
Only a tad? I thought "who is he trying to impress?" who even does the crushed velvet jacket thing anymore? Hugh Hefner Wannabes? New money? Does it bear the crest of some desired and envied country club that no one else in the country/world has ever heard or given a rat's ass about? To me, it screams pretentiousness, but that's my opinion. -
She LOVES busy prints, and mixing busy prints. Maybe she spills a lot and this is her way to keep it camouflaged?

I'm going to need Bravo to provide an interpreter whenever Eileen's on, because I can never figure out what it is she's talking about or why. I still have no idea what it was she wanted from Dorit or what her point was...That she was in favor of the panty gifting but, in retrospect, she thinks it was a bad idea? Did she want Dorit to apologize to her and/or Erika for "blindsiding" her? That she didn't conspire with Kyle to use the word blindsided? What was her point/agenda? Anyone speak Eileenese? -

I find it interesting that LVPs scenes are either her and Ken or her and Kyle unless it's a group gathering of all the ladies. Did Rinna and Davidson refuse to film with her (or vice versa)? Whatever the reason, it could not have worked out better for LVP. Other than being present (without a view) at nickergate and the gifting of the panties, she was not present for any of the discussions that are bugging the Soap Sisters. Of course, that doesn't stop Eileen from blaming LVP for influencing Dorit, because it's Eileen and everything is LVPs fault. -

Eileen gives me a headache. Why did she feel the need to bring up pantygate when Erika and Dorit had already (in front of Eileen) high-fived and declared it over? What was she trying to resolve with Dorit? I am so lost. If I were Dorit I would have asked "why are we talking about this"? I was waiting for Erika to chime in "Hellooooo,...I'm right here..." Eileen said the others were taking jabs at Erika while Erika is behind her, sitting by the pool, laughing with the alleged mean girls. She wasn't even there when it happened! why does she care so much? I think she needs some Xanax, or something for her paranoia that she feels the need to take other people's conversations and experiences so personally and try to resolve issues that aren't there to the point where they become issues. -
I can't help but get the feeling that the Gorgas are, somehow, making a living off of working the system from failed business ventures. They seem to be living very well for people who can't seem to hold jobs (mobile document shredding anyone?). Oh, that's right...I almost forgot that Joe brings home the "cake".

OMG YES!!! This could so be a Brownie craft project using paper plates, some water colors and a little Elmer's glue. A few strings of beads or dots of paint here and there, and Voila! ps. Thanks for reminding me of my favorite episode of Project Runway where they had to make garden party dresses out of plants.

S07.E05: Amnesia Appetizers
SweetieDarling replied to Tara Ariano's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
She was in total shock and disbelief that Dorit didn't remember the conversation...but that didn't stop her from trying to explain whatever it was she was trying to explain ad nauseum. I wonder how hard it is to pick up on Eileen's cues when she's not being so blunt? I did a double take when Dorit brought up the conversation with Eileen at Camille's and Eileen tried to laugh it off and said "It was not that big of a deal. I did not think I was being confrontational with you." -
Bethenny Frankel (RHNY) wore that fugly prairie dress that Juliet wore!

That's the same dress Juliet Angus wore on Ladies of London! And it was hideous then too -

In a way, Dorit reminds me of Erika last season. Last season Erika came on already disliking LVP, probably, imo, because she came on the show to be Yolanda's friend or defender or whatever. Likewise, Dorit seemed to have a preconceived opinion of Erika. Not a good one. She was throwing all kinds of shade last week with the whole pantygate and not accusing Erika of flashing PK on purpose and the way she and PK talked about her in their office/kitchen...She seems determined not to like her. I am not a fan of Erika's, but I love the way she's handling Dorit. She's not stupid, and she doesn't play those kinds of games (imo). -
S07.E03: Going Commando
SweetieDarling replied to Tara Ariano's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
agree! It didn't seem to me that Erika was annoyed or upset about the panty raid. I think it's what Dorit and PK do with the information and the alleged peep show. I would get mad too, if I found I had inadvertently (I'll give her the benefit of the doubt) flashed an acquaintance and they chose not to let it slide and prevent further embarrassment, but to have a full out discussion about it on camera for the world to see and know about. That's just low, catty, mean girl behavior, imo. And we know from the previews, that Dorit won't leave it at that. -
S07.E03: Going Commando
SweetieDarling replied to Tara Ariano's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
Wellll, the camera man did manage to make sure he got the shot of Kyle walking away so we, the viewers, would be well aware of her fashion faux-pas, and although he knew of the situation either didn't tell Kyle until they got to the restaurant, or Kyle purposely (on LVP's orders, naturally) waited. The big question is, did LVP rely on the Bravo cameraman's natural inclination to catch the shot of Kyle's white pantied butt, or did she pull him into her web as well? I fear we're going to need to rely on a cheesy psychic for this one. Could there be editing room floor footage of an unnecessarily blurred crotch shot of Erika? -

Yes! And the looks they gave each other when Rinna said it's not like they'd be going out to clubs...they have fake ids. -
S07.E03: Going Commando
SweetieDarling replied to Tara Ariano's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
I can just hear it now: LVP called Kyle before taping and manipulated her into wearing white panties under her, otherwise, fabulous jumpsuit...she told Kyle to bring it up, so it could be a topic of conversation, all to point out Erika's lack of underwear. Why? Well, they would tell you "jealousy!" or maybe she was commando under the t-shirt dress thingy (didn't want to ruin the lines- it's couture, you know) and they were tired of being flashed? -
S07.E18: Reunion Part 2

Not as hilarious as the look on Jac's face would be if she did. She would go balistic!! Especially if it sold better. -
S07.E18: Reunion Part 2
SweetieDarling replied to Tara Ariano's topic in The Real Housewives Of New Jersey
I thought the best line of the night went to Melissa when Jac confronted her of seeing 2 different surgeons for her alleged multiple nose jobs, "Why do you care?" Seriously, ok, she had a/multiple nose job(s)...so what? Why would Jac care how many there where? I can see her wanting to know who did them, y'know, for future reference...Jac is the LAST person who should use plastic surgeries as a weapon, imo -
S07.E17: Reunion Part 1
SweetieDarling replied to Tara Ariano's topic in The Real Housewives Of New Jersey
I think Jac was involved in strippergate. Why else would she keep pointing out that Teresa didn't give Mel a heads up? How was Teresa supposed to know that the guy was even going to be at the fashion show, let alone be mic'd and confront Melissa on camera? How could she give a warning about something she didn't know was going to happen? Jac's big defense has been that she had a girlfriend that was in the room at the time he talked to Tre and heard the whole conversation, but didn't Kim D take Tre into a separate room in the salon where it was only her, Tre and the bald dude? That would mean that Jac's friend was Kim D. Also, I'm with Melissa on this as to why Jac would miss the reunion the next day. If anyone should have been too traumatized to show up, it should have been Mel, NOT Jac. -

S11.E18: Vicious Lies And Broken Ties

Shannon knows this event is public knowledge. She's already addressed and discussed it. I think her main issue is with the "He beat the shit out of you" wording. I don't doubt he may have hit her, but I don't get the impression that he "beat the shit out of" her, or that it is or was an ongoing problem. -

She also seemed, at least to me, more upset about (the other women causing) Brooks breaking up with her than the fact that he was lying and used her. -

For some reason, every time I read the title of this episode, my brain reads "Vickie's lies and broken ties"
