  1. Why was Harry Hamlin the emcee and award presenter? It made the whole "awards ceremony" thing look fake and staged as if they made an arrangement with the kitchen to make up a humanitarian award in exchange for featuring them on the show.
  2. I wonder if they are the reason he is such a sweet boy. He certainly didn't learn that behavior from Kail!
  3. Was anyone as surprised as I was to see a willchar ramp at Leah's house?
  4. I don't think anyone is letting Eden off the hook. She has definitely been aggressively intrusive into an issue that is none of her business. I think the revelation that Rinna accused Kim of being close to death because of her alleged lack of sobriety and then calling Kyle an enabler sheds light on what some of Eden's motivation was. It does not excuse it, but makes her bizarre behavior a little more understandable in that it didn't come completely out of left field. Hopefully, she'll take her mother's advice and stop trying to "help" people that don't want her in their business. I think the issue with Rinna is (or at least should be) that after telling Kyle she wouldn't talk about Kim anymore, she turned around and talked about Kim. to a complete stranger. with exaggerations and outright lies. If I were Kyle I would be beyond livid. What is this stick insect's problem that she can't mind her own damned business and keep Kim's name out of her mouth?! It is becoming an obsession. Waiting for or expecting Kim to "own" or apologize for anything is an exercise in futility, imo. Give up and move on with your life, lest you turn into Eileen, demanding apologies at every turn, yet accepting none of them because they didn't come from a place of sincerity.
  5. Didn't the "chicken, chicken, that's my chicken" guy show up at her house when her kids were over and she pretended that one of the grandkids was her baby? She invited him over for the barbecuing of the chicken? I thought she met the bull mastiff at the mailbox or walking the dog or something.
  6. oh geez! I hope not! I thought they were testing her to see if she had the gene for the possibility of passing it on to her own child.
  7. What the heck was with the ants in Julie's dress? How long were they there? Were they there when she got dressed? Surely she'd have noticed them. Maybe she was standing on an ant hill while waiting for the cab. There seemed to be a lot of them. And then she shook them off her dress IN the cab! I felt so bad for her daughter. She couldn't be happy for her and the incredible experience she was about to embark on, she had to lay guilt on her about how much she'd miss her and how will she possibly cope... If I were her daughter I'd have heaved a big sigh of relief once Julie drove off. and when she told CS that she would just get "amazinger"
  8. I know! It took me a while to even recognize her because she looked so different. I kept comparing her face when the talking heads cut in. In PJ Clarke's her face was much tighter and had that shiny plastic look, and didn't budge an inch. Her lips looked fuller too, I thought. Maybe it had time to wear off by the time the talking heads were filmed.
  9. These women need to lay off the botox, lip plumpers and other procedures. Camille barely looked human when she met with Rinna in NY. Her face looked plastic and she could only move her lower lip, the rest of her face was completely immobile. She's a very pretty woman, I don't understand why women do that to themselves. imo, it doesn't make them look younger or prettier, it just makes them look like they've had procedures done. Does anyone know people in real life that do this? Is the frozen face as distracting in person as it is on tv?
  10. I wonder why it was kept in the garage. Did that seem odd to anyone else? I've never heard of storing flour in the garage, but CA doesn't have the humidity and temperature fluctuations of the East Coast, so maybe it's a thing. Or maybe Rinna does not allow gluten in the house and this is the maid/cook/chef's way of getting around it.
  11. Did anyone else think that "sober" Eden was slurring her words a bit? Cannabis smoothies with (more than) a hint of Xanax?
  12. Isn't that exactly what she was accusing LVP of last year?
  13. She had placenta acreta. It's described as a condition where blood vessels in the placenta as well as parts of the placenta grow too deeply into the uterine wall. She was on bed rest for, what sounds like, her entire pregnancy, and ran the risk of hemorrhaging to death during delivery. That's why she had a scheduled c-section and they had to remove her uterus. She did say she lost A LOT of blood during the procedure. She did seem truly affected by the fact that another pregnancy was not going to be an option. I can definitely see how that would be like mourning a loss. She has 3 beautiful, healthy kids and an incredibly loving and supportive husband to help her through this... and when the baby starts to smile at her...I think (hope) she'll be ok. I give her credit to be able to look objectively at herself and her feelings to realize what she's going through and that she needed to talk to her MD about it. Let's just hope he got a bad edit.
  14. They didn't remove Marissa's ovaries, so she shouldn't need any HRT. Still, she's been through emotional and physical hell and her hormones are still haywire from just having had a baby. I don't think anyone is blaming her. I agree, her doctor seemed dismissive of her complaints. I hope they had a more in depth conversation, privately, when the cameras weren't rolling.
  15. If I were him I'd be more concerned about who's going to look after the girlses while she goes drug hunting, and while she's nodding off poolside. She probably thinks that's what the lifeguards are there for. And then there's always the possibility of Leah ending up in a Mexican jail...
  16. I thought Erika handled herself very well when she was greeted by Dorit with "Well, you look gorgeous! This is a step up from the last time you came to my party in a t-shirt dress." How are you supposed to respond to a comment like that? I'm glad Erika seemed to brush it off and enjoy herself at the party. It was also a nice change of pace to see her laughing and smiling with Kyle in Greece instead of her normal expression of complete boredom.
  17. Yes, she said they're "giving each other space" right now. She did say it was her (Sophie's) fault how it started, but it kind of snowballed from there. I think Julie her friendship with Julie played a large part in the beginning of the situation. I hadn't put much credence into Julie intentionally trying to put a wedge between Sophie and Caroline until her reaction to Sophie refusing to talk about Caroline and when Sophie "defended" Caroline, Julie made a remark about her going "back to the dark side".
  18. I don't think Juliet enjoys living in England as much as Marissa. I don't remember exactly, but I believe Marissa went to England, then met Matt and married him. Juliet and Gregor moved to England for Gregor's job. I think Marissa embraces all things British, including citizenship, whereas, Juliet would prefer to be her "American" self. Maybe that's why she's so negative all the time...she's not happy living there? Just a thought.
  19. but, whatever you do, no sprinkle cookies! (Teresa & Melissa RHNJ)
  20. Exactly. And maybe she doesn't want to discuss it with Rinna, on national tv, to be picked apart as fodder for a story line by people who should keep their self-appointed expert opinions to themselves.
  21. I'm so sorry for your loss. I hope your mother continues to do well.
  22. I think Eileen may have met her match in Dorit. That was the weirdest lunch lemon water conversation. It brought a smile to my face to see Eileen struggle trying to figure out what Dorit's point was. And then there was the disbelief that she was being confrontational during the "walk", and that she brings up pantygate ALL the time...delusional much? -although on that note, I wouldn't mind an episode featuring her and the Rinnstigator attempting to be EJ's back up dancers.. with real choreography and professional dancers. That should be worth a few laughs.
  23. I don't know if Marissa has PPD but I do think part of her issue is that she spent so long on sober bedrest and now that the baby is here and the danger is over she's antsy to get out and do things and be social and fun and feel alive again, except that she hasn't given herself enough time to heal and recover. As if recovering from childbirth isn't enough with the hormone swings and sleepless nights, etc., she's been through hell, and add in the stresses from the businesses closing... It's going to take some time to recover.
  24. I completely agree. I have no personal experience living/dealing with an addict the way these women are/have, so excuse me if my question is naive, but I really don't see how reopening wounds and dwelling on what the addicts low points were can be helpful in their current recovery. If Kim is struggling every day to maintain whatever level of sobriety she has, I don't think it's helpful to stress her with old arguments about how she behaved during some of her low moments. Yes, she's been nasty and mean to people, but if they truly wanted to help her they'd let the past be the past and deal in the present situation. Jmo, like I said, this is far from my area of expertise. And who the F does Rinna think she is blabbing about Kim's sobriety or lack thereof when she KNOWS Kyle doesn't want it talked about!?!? How is Rinna an expert on Kim's condition? Kyle doesn't talk to her about it, Kim doesn't talk to her about it,... As soon as she started defining "enabler" I thought for sure we're going to have a new munchenhausen thing. To me, the lunch looked like an attempt at an intervention for Kyle. I was surprised she didn't try to change the subject.
