  1. ...and sentimental things like nightgowns from your late husband...
  2. How about Luann almost burning down the house trying to light the fireplace? I hope the owners of that house weren't watching...or maybe they should have been, so they can label the igniter more clearly. Sheeesh!
  3. and Luann pointed that out, so no one would be mistaken. ;)
  4. Was anyone else as stunned as I was to see Ramona preparing breakfast for everyone? I expected her to sit down and wait for someone to bring food to her, but she actually made it nice, and brought it to the table on serving plates for the others! Not only did it look edible, it looked yummy. ...and then she met the ski instructor and (pun intended) it all went down hill from there.
  5. I live outside of a major city on the East Coast and my local Target stores do not carry any SK product, nor do my liquor store or grocery stores. I have only seen her products on tv.
  6. I keep laughing at the thought of her attempting to walking around in them...especially after a few pinot grigios. Maybe she's trying to meet a divorced dr. with her damsel with a twisted ankle in distress act. Just the thought of her trying to pretend she can walk in them at all...
  7. Yes, you're right, I don't like her. To me, she comes off as too abrasive and self-centered, but she's obviously doing something right as a businesswoman to be where she is financially and have the fan base that she does. Like her or not, she is successful at what she does; I'll give her credit for that.
  8. Hahaha!! That's exactly what this pic reminded me of too!
  9. So, the sex-obsessed, bitter, shrieking harpy persona is on purpose?
  10. I think that's her biggest problem; She's a spoiled princess. She's always been dependent on someone else. Has she ever been on her own? I don't think she knows what to do or how to function on her own. She seems stuck in the time she was most happy, with her long curls and frilly ruffles. imo, she doesn't necessarily need to reinvent herself as much as she needs to update her style and bring herself into the present (mentally as well). Doesn't she have any rich spoiled princess girlfriends she can stay with until she can find someone else to take care of her stand on her own?
  11. I can hear it now: "Duuude! just because I missed a few months of payments, they can't turn me off!! I have a baby!! How am I supposed to call someone to watch her so's I can go buy weed before I go on vacation to see Ke$ha? Duude!! I got all these feathers in my hair!!" She's probably blaming Barb for not paying the bill for her.
  12. How about "So proud y'all went back to school. How was it?" or "did you kick ass like we knew you would?"
  13. I think it's situational. If, like in Lu's case with her non-guest guests, I wasn't invited to the wedding because the bride didn't want me there as she thought I might cause a scene and detract from "her day", then no, she can kiss my ass. If it were someone I was friendly with, but for budget reasons or family size or I'm simply not that close a friend to make the cutoff, assuming I like the person, then yes, but the gift would be much smaller/less expensive than if I had been invited to the event itself.
  14. It may have been the way she was eating those crackers,...but did anyone find it odd when Bethenny told her driver to be back in and hour and a half so she could be home to "put Bryn down". Isn't Bryn 6yrs old? She made it sound like Bryn was an infant or a pet on their deathbed.
  15. I am guilty of throwing an after the wedding party for friends that weren't invited. Our wedding was 2hrs away in our home town. We invited our closest "local" friends, but felt awkward about asking people to do the travel (with tolls), hotel room, and still please give us a nice gift thing. Our circle has nowhere near the disposable income of the housewives -we actually thought it'd be rude and imposing, plus I expect our wedding budget was tighter than Luann's. We held it at the pub we frequented and told our guests no gifts were necessary. It was very casual and low key. No one seemed offended or snarky about it, at least that I was aware of. We wanted to celebrate with our friends and co-workers, and they seemed genuinely happy to be there. I had no idea I had committed such a faux-pas.
  16. especially one marketed toward "skinny girls"
  17. Is it just me, or does it look like she's holding a tray of poo?
  18. i'm dying laughing at the comment by Daisy that called her "deluJenelle"!!
  19. It was worse than that!! He was with Ramona.
  20. Whatever happened to those people? They'd make good Housewife fodder. How old would they be now? Thirties?..Sonja and Ramona could work their way through dating their daddies. It has potential to be embarrassing entertaining.
  21. The funny thing is, wasn't it Carole (or it may have been Heather) who called Luann a "one-upper"? when they first met? If Luann is a "one-upper" what does that make Bethenny?
  22. ...Weelllll,...she was raised by wolves, wasn't she?
  23. Did anyone else see Carole eating the green beans with her fingers? Does she have no table manners?
  24. Why was Bethenny carrying her clutch purse around the house with her like a security blanket?
