  1. Can I just say that my inner geek is loving the release date of Agents of Shield season one because it's on the same date as the Winter Soldier. I hope someone in Marvel who has a say in the release dates went "I wonder if any of the nerds will notice that Cap's biggest fan's show is also being released on the day." Makes my heart pitter patter for Coulson. I would love if Clark Gregg posted something on Social Media about it!
  2. Thanks HistoryGirl! I searched, I read, and I squealed. Man, I have turned into quite a sucker for this show. I'm also super excited about this season. They have the later time slot, so hopefully this show gets a but grittier. And I like what Coulson says in the VoiceOver for the preview...bc it makes it sound like what I wanted to tune into in the first place. You know, a show of people working behind the scenes without flashing "SHIELD" everywhere they go.
  3. Really?!? That's super exciting! HistoryGirl, do you have some links that I could read up on the speculations? Not that I don't love your summary, but I'm dying for some good 'ole fan squealing. Wouldn't that just suck for Fitz? Losing hand control, makes lab work and building things a bit difficult...
  4. I have no idea how tumblr works, but I hope someone out there is figuring out which clips are old versus new. Like in the beginning, in sort of surprised to see Tripp, but that clip is from when they're in the basement of the Barbar Shop trying to hack into Hydra correct? And I'm guessing the clip of FitzSimmons in the Lab is old too. I was holding my breath, as FitzSimmons are my favorite characters, when watching the preview. I didn't know how much to expect to see either of them...especially with how secretive Marvel is, I figured we wouldn't see Fitz in any of the previews. Glad they made a quick appearance, sadly it was probably old footage of them.
  5. I think we're supposed to think of the Deadpool as a move or a piece on Peter's chessboard of going after Scott. If you think of everything that's happened, it's all leading to that checkmate right? 1. De-wolfing Derek 2. Deadpool (thinning the herd?) 3. Bringing Kate back into the fold? Maybe? She was on the list, so did Peter know she was alive? 4. Get Malia on his side-ish? At least maybe he thinks she is. I think that her relationship with Stiles is one move for Scott's side he might not have taken into consideration. I'm thinking too much into a show that I know the writers don't put as much consideration into. But the theories are fun to play with!
  6. I really liked the episode. I wish that they would stop cutting between stories so damn much. Heaven forbid they focus on one story line without seeing what everyone else is doing in Beacon Hills. I know they were helping each other, but I would have loved to see the fight at the warehouse with all the wolves. Well, really Scott's Pack because the other wolves didn't really fight did they? I really hope that Papa Stilinski is the one to put Peter down. I hope they just didn't waste such a great line "There won't be a next time." Anyone else hoping that Issac was going to show up in that fight? I keep hoping he's going to reappear when Scott needs another wolf ally on his side of the fight....I know he probably won't reappear soon, but a girl can hope right?
  7. Elizabeth Henstridge did the Ice Bucket challenge too...I'm posting from my phone otherwise I'd link up to it. She challenged Samuel L Jackson, Colbie and I believe a big-wig at ABC....
  8. Dang. Meredith? I was secretly hoping for a non-dead Allison to be the Benefactor, but I guess I was pulling for the wrong-past dead Teen Wolf Actress. I can't believe that Stiles and Lydia didn't take Parrish with them tonight. Even with the whole Bribe aspect, I'm surprised they didn't take an adult with them. So...new episode is on Sunday next week? That's an interesting choice....
  9. Hmmmm. That's interesting, didn't Fitz normally do that sort of stuff for the team before? I don't read comics, so I know nothing of Mack. Is he an interesting character??
  10. Holy cats, I feel like I have super hero powers, ask and you shall receive. What a great article! I'm actually slightly excited about the news. NOT the part about surviving, bc I will be crushed if either of my favorite geeky scientists die, but that they might grow separately. It's what people complain the most about the pair, how wrapped up in each other they are. How weird is it going to be to hear "Fitz" or "Simmons" after awhile without hearing "FitzSimmons" together....sort of crazy. In my perfect world, they would grow separately, and then grow back together...turn their story into a slow burn. That way it doesn't seem like Simmons wants to be with Fitz out of guilt and Fitz can heal/grow without resenting Simmons (that resent is going to be a big fear of mine. I feel like the pair might have a huge fight bc of their reactions to what happened to them and each other). That article might tide me over...well, for now.
  11. I totally agree! Or at least, I hope there is. I just loved watching the Comic Con panel bc there were so many side-glances and there were a couple spots when they weren't even paying attention to what was going on. I hope with the later time slot, the plot lines could take some more interesting twists as turns. And I hope that the poster was done on purpose. *squeee* I'm so glad you posted HistoryGirl. I'm dying with how tightly spoilers are being guarded. I just want something about Fitz's fate.
  12. I, for one, just had to state how relieved I was to see Iain De Caestecker in group shots and mentioned on Instagram during this weekend's Comic Con. I know that this thread died during the Summer Hiatus, but I'm relieved that it seems that Fitz's fate was not similar to the thread's (I was worried that maybe they would write him out, dying off scene). Has anyone seen the new poster for Agents of Shield from Comic Con? I think it's interesting that Fitz is looking off but Jemma is looking right at Fitz. I wonder if that has anything to do with the new season or if it was just an Artist's choice...
  13. I finally was able to see this movie last night and I loved it! I felt like I was watching a love letter from the cast and crew to John Green and his fans. I absolutely cannot believe how much this was like the book. Even the small details like Gus having a huge "V for Vendetta" poster, or the encouragement everywhere in Gus' room were spot on. I think this might become my new Gold Standard for what I compare other book movies to in the future. I had to literally stop myself from whispering "that's straight from the book" throughout the entire movie to my friend. I loved what Shailene as Ansel were able to portray about Hazel and Gus. I knew how the movie was going to end and I still couldn't hold back the tears. And the volume of people crying shocked me as well. There were two males behind me before the movie who said they couldn't believe their girlfriends brought tissues to a movie. It was a good thing the girls did, because I'm pretty sure the boys were crying before their girlfriends! I hope that whichever film company owns the rights to "Looking for Alaska" hires the same Director and Crew that did this movie and are now going to do Paper Towns. They would be fools not to. I wish all Directors and Film Companies made book movies like The Fault in Our Stars. I really felt like the scenes that I saw in my head while I read the books were being played out verbatim on the big screen. Amazing.
  14. The only reason why I watch Wolf Watch is to catch preview clip for the next week. And to catch the Teen Wolf cast acting like themselves. Like the puppy-excited Tyler Posey and laid back Dylan O'Brien. Those two have such a different dynamic with each other. I wonder if O'Brien just sits back and watches Posey bounce all over the place or if the cameras aren't rolling he's bouncing along with him. O'Brien just always has this amused look on his face when it comes to Posey. Cracks me up.
  15. They really couldn't have shown the adults in Beacon Hills for 2.0 seconds? Instead we get crazy club dancing. Boo to wasted time. They could have shown Kira was a bad dancer and moved on. I would have loved to see Melissa and Stilinski calling each other to see if they had heard from the kids yet. Loved having Stiles back...part of me was hoping to see some sort of issues/guilt from all the craziness he went through last season, but it's Teen Wolf so I don't hold out any hope for it. Loved the Wolf Pack. And holy female-to-male ratio! Loved that for once, there were more females then males. If that continued all year, I'd love it, so different for this show. Does anyone know if Brayden (spelling?) is sticking around beyond this episode?
  16. Deaton. Well...isn't that how they always get something?? I love it as well. Stiles and Lydia are my OTP, so I love when they're together. Actually, I love when Stiles is included in the supernatural stuff.
  17. I'll go to say that the link I'm going to post has spoilers for the Avengers Age of Ultron...so if you click on it, be prepared! HOWEVER, the piece that has to do with Agents of Shield is apparently Agent Triplett is in the movie! The shoot that they have a video of, apparently BJ Britt had reported for the shoot. So, that's an interesting piece of news....I wonder if any other Agents of Shield agents are going to appear in the movie. Here's the link if you want to check it out. He's not in the video, but he is barely mentioned in the article: https://www.yahoo.com/movies/new-video-from-the-avengers-age-of-ultron-set-88968102782.html
  18. Well, I don't know if it counts as a movie but, Elsa is showing up on Once Upon a Time this next season. I'm sort of disapointed by it, but what are you going to do. I could listen to Frozen's instrumental soundtrack forever. It's been awhile since I found one that I would play continuously.
  19. Did anyone see this last night? How was the Night Before the Stars question and answer forum? As someone who worked in the movie theater for years before my real job, I thought that this was a totally crazy idea and wished I could go participate in it. I'm totally a sucker for John Green and the Nerdfighters, so I can't wait to see this too.
  20. Nope, it's not just you. The one scene where they're outside of the arcade, and when he sees the blonde he mutters "Greeaaat," I did a double take because I actually thought it was Silas Weir Mitchell for a moment. I thought he was moonlighting in the 80's. In some scenes he looks and sounds like Mitchell then others. I guess that's what I get for knitting and watching at the same time!
  21. Thanks HistoryGirl! I have really come to love Fitz and Simmons together, and although I totally get why people don't want them together (interacting with just each other), I don't really see that happening. They've both showed signs of being social outside of each other-Jemma and Skye going on adventures way back earlier this season and then Fitz and Ward's friendship. I'm really hoping that Trip and Fitz become fast friends, or at least I was until Fitz was so hurt.I sort of hope that they don't use GH325 on Fitz, or at least not until Simmons has separated the crazy out of the serum. I need to find that EW article, I thought I had read most of them but I think I missed that one. I really hope Fitz doesn't have memory loss, it's just so cliché...imagine if he didn't. He's have to come to terms that Ward tried to kill him and Simmons and almost succeeded. He's probably have issues with Water or smaller spaces because of being trapped, not to mention going out into the field. Maybe, who knows, we might get surprised.
  22. I'm sort of hoping that Fitz and Simmons are end game, but I'm totally fine with Simmons not quite being there yet like Fitz is. I can totally see why Fitz's feelings evolved. Fitz has been on this run-away train since he choose to follow Simmons into the field. Even though Skye was supposed to be "our" view into SHIELD, I think Fitz and Simmons sort of took that role too. I think if anyone was faced with what Fitz had been faced this season, they might want to share their true feelings with someone because they know they could possibly not walk away alive. Don't get me wrong, I know Simmons has faces things this season too but not as much as Fitz. With that being said, I really hope the writers don't punk out with Fitz. I really want there to be consequences for Ward's weakness and I hope we get to see him react to whatever happens to Fitz. And I really hope the consequence is not amnesia.
  23. I loved it! I was actually panicked about Fitz, I loved that he actually told Simmons how he felt finally and I loved her response. And I was shocked that Fury rescued him. I wonder how Fitz is going to change, they mentioned it several times he was without oxygen for awhile. I really hope there's a fallout from it. I loved May's and Ward's fight. And how May "kept some for herself." Slightly though, I wish The Calvery had kicked a bit more tail in that fight. I even enjoyed Coulson and Fury together. I could watch them just stand and react to fights. "You didn't tell me he was this insane." Does anyone feel like the end was slightly disjointed...how did Garrett get out before he was blasted by Coulson? And what happened with Ward? And really, no final scene with Fitz? I really thought after the failed bromance fist bump last week, we'd see Tripp checking in on Fitz. Or at least Simmons and Skye with Fitz. But instead we have Coulson showing a bit of crazy at the end...
  24. It's Elsa from Frozen. I remember reading an article about how the show runners are huge fans. I wonder if they're going to get Kristen Bell to be Anna.I can't believe they messed with the original Snow-Charming meeting. I'll forgive them because Emma finally isn't running away but man, I cannot believe they changed it. I'm guessing they wanted Graham for the end scene with Regina shouting about chasing after Snow then.
  25. Oh, sorry Cranberry, I was inferencing...I thought he had said that. Goes to show I should have read the article myself. I just wished that this show had a Geek working on it would get to sit there and say "Nope, that makes no sense" or "Show more, tell less." I'm pumped for the back-to-back episodes. Here's hoping Agents of Shield go big.
