  1. Hooray for no white kitchen! I liked their color choices.
  2. Glad mama Jasmine was okay. Otters are so adorbs. That shark exhibit was amazing.
  3. Dr. Pol has four vets on staff now! Interesting that they are all female. The puppy “attacking” Doc’s pant leg was so adorbs. That black bull with the sore hoof was quite the handsome fellow.
  4. Wow, there was a lot of baby talk and kissing on tonight’s episode! 🙄 I noticed a lemur in one of those patient montage segments. On The Zoo, they said that ring-tailed lemurs were endangered due to loss of habitat and the exotic pet trade. 😡
  5. March 1 episode: So that murderer will be out in eight years? He knew there was no way they could find his victim’s body when he made the deal. If she were my sister, I would rather him rot in prison for the rest of his life than agree to a deal like that.
  6. It was mentioned that the kid didn’t make a big deal when they sold the trampoline so it was actually a non-issue.
  7. I liked the first place best. Shouldn’t a bedroom be darker since you sleep there? It always makes me go 🙄 when people act as if they have never heard of blinds or curtains.
  8. Melbourne: Loved the first house. The wife was super annoying. If the husband biked to work everyday, wouldn’t he have to shower when he got there? Would he keep his work clothes at the office?
  9. Who was that woman with the dog that Will ran into? Ugh, back to Choi and April. I used to like him. Poor kid with leukemia.
  10. The old chaplain retired. Poor Brett. I didn’t see any conflict such that he had to break up with her.
  11. I’m so glad Hank gave that info to Ray (love Wendell Pierce, ever since The Wire). John McGinley is so creepy as Kendel. Good episode.
  12. Wasn’t there a piglet born before that poor sow’s uterus ruptured? The kids were holding a little piglet while all those dead piglets and the one survivor were pulled out. Farm kids are tough! At that age, I would have freaked out at the sight of all those dead piglets.
  13. From what I read about the disease, there’s a spectrum as to the pain level.
  14. Germany: I loved that third house! Not practical for them, but it was lovely. Do US bases abroad have vets on base for the military families’ pets?
  15. Italy: He wasn’t the head of the clinic. The job she got was more like PR. Where did anyone get the idea that she became head of the clinic? I looked up the disease (CRPS) and clinic online. The treatments are apparently very expensive so I wondered how she paid for them. I thought it a bit presumptuous for her to say the pain from her disorder was much greater than that of giving birth since she apparently had never had a child. 🙄 Couldn’t they have gotten a stair lift for that place with the stairs to the bedroom?
  16. Agoura Valley, CA: Husband must have had a big life insurance policy. That’s a lot of house and property for two people. Isn’t having horses an expensive hobby (to say nothing of labor intensive)?
  17. So she can show it off! It’s a trophy pet. The Bush baby doesn’t appear to be a good pet either. I wonder if it is self-mutilating because of trauma it suffered in the exotic pet trade process.
  18. Victoria wasn’t a foreigner. Her ancestry was Germanic, but she was British born and bred. She was born at Kensington Palace.
  19. On The Zoo tonight, a bunch of confiscated lizards from the illegal exotic pet trade were taken to the Bronx Zoo by Fish and Game. Of 92 live lizards , 2/3s died despite intensive treatment by the vet staff. ☹️ I wonder how many Fennec Foxes and Bush Babies died so somebody could have a trophy pet? 😡 I like Dr. K, but I get really mad watching this show. I may have to quit.
  20. Albert being Commander in Chief of the Army? I’m sure that would have been popular with the British public - a civilian foreigner in charge of the military. Laurence Fox’s Lord Pam is the saving grace of this season.
  21. LA: I thought the reno turned out nice. I won’t repeat my usual objection to the sacred “white kitchen.” At least they had the blue wall in the kitchen. That however leads me to another point: Couldn’t they have done a tile backsplash up to the range hood then painted the rest of the wall a matching blue? That would have saved a good bit of change, right? These dude spent $30K over budget (after paying $120K over the original asking price). Same for painting instead of tiling in the bathroom.
  22. I’ve watched so many episodes of TIDP that I can diagnose milk fever! When the owner said that dog was nursing a bunch of puppies, I said “Milk fever! Give her calcium!” 😆 I wonder what happened to that poor yellow lab. ☹️ I like the new vet.
