Actually, the downstairs unit woodwork was already painted white. They painted the upstairs trim to look the same.

I saw a TV mounted elsewhere. I don’t understand putting it over the mantle to start with. A TV should be at sitting eye level.

Doc bought the goat and gave it back to the little boy. 💕 That pony and her foal were so adorbs! So was Gabriel the baby reindeer.

California: Yeah, I wonder what they do for a living, too. Although they did go over budget, I did like that the husband nixed the fancy tiles for the floor of the shower to save money. I noticed the TV was not (thank goodness) over the fireplace so why all the drama about the wiring? The contractor must be an aspiring model or actor! 😛

He gave Victoria anesthesia (chloroform) during childbirth number eight. Back then that was considered shocking because women were supposed to suffer during childbirth. 🙄 After Victoria used anesthesia, other woman could and did.

There is an excellent book “The Ghost Map” about how Dr. Snow discovered the source of the cholera and basically created medical epidemiology. I read it several years ago. Poor Skerritt. 😞I liked her. For once I was on Albert’s side, championing science over biblical allegory. The Duchess’ husband needs his ass kicked. 😡 That’s true, but historically he should be around 64 years old not 40 like Laurence Fox. 😏
