Carlin and Evan: But Mostly Carlin!
GeeGolly replied to PrincessPurrsALot's topic in Bringing Up Bates
I don't get it. They seem to be at their inlaws'. Why would she be packing there? Or is she actually re-packing for a reel? -
I thought I heard Carlin, Josie and Tiff say, "pregnant".
-
Are Tiff and Josie pregnant too?
-
Could they own it as 'the church'? I have no idea how or by whom churches are typically owned by, but I was thinking maybe a trust or charity organization.
-
Jessa once said she didn't want a big house because of too much housework. Jessa and Ben made a mini, one floor TTH and I think she is right where she wants to be. As far as ownership, that has me curious. Is it possible they do own it, but under the name of the church?

Jana and Stephen: Slow and Steady Gets the Best Wedding
GeeGolly replied to ginger90's topic in Counting On
I'm thinking Jana will be taking clomid if she's not pregnant by their first anniversary. -
The house is pretty isolated. I'm guessing Anna will basically be house sitting until JB decides to put it on the market.

We know JB changed diapers. He also seemed somewhat involved with the kids on the show. And Jill was very close to him, so I'm not surprised the adults sons are involved with their kids. The currently incarcerated son seems to be, maybe not an anomaly, but very different from his brothers in many ways.

In this instance, for this post, I think the word explains my thoughts.

Carlin and Evan: But Mostly Carlin!

Could this be a coincidence? The model, the pose, the shoes, and of course the dress. Or is BSB stealing marketing ideas from others? -
I do think Jill is needy and prefers company to being alone, but I also believe both Jill and Derick have deep seated fears of their kids becoming woke.

She could manage all three. Or she could start and stay at what would be Izzy's school and eventually Sam and Fred would be there.

I truly believe Michelle loved it when JB talked about her baggage and JB did too. When he would tell her stories Modest Michelle quietly enjoyed everyone knowing she was a sexy cheerleader who mowed the lawn in Daisy Dukes and a bikini top. And JB absolutely peacocked because he snagged the sexy teenager. Michelle's baggage was a win-win for them in addition to the Fundy win. A Duggar Fundy trifecta🤣.

I think Michelle was a master at making JB think everything was his idea and/or decision.

Carlin and Evan: But Mostly Carlin!

I for sure believe C&E are taking in the big bucks. Influencing alone has so many different streams of income and they all add up. Paid sponsorships, payment for links, passive income from subscription partnerships, and of course all the freebies - from make-up to a trip to Dubai. And then there's their YouTube income, which could possibly pay for their mortgage and car loans. IMO, its an unhealthy job that distorts influencers own reality, but an influencer who saves their money, will have a hefty, hefty cushion to survive on when they are no longer relevant. It seems to me C&E spend money like they'll forever have this kind of income. -
Meet the Parents: Gil and Kelly Jo Bates
GeeGolly replied to Meredith Quill's topic in Bringing Up Bates
Yikes, poor Janie and Bill can't seem to catch a break. I hope they're getting plenty of help. Somebody should park an RV on their land and rotate out the Bates19 as helpers. -
My SIL's kids got good at managing her changing moods as they got older, but like you said, the unpredictability makes life difficult for all. I used to tell my mother it would be easier on the kids even if she(SIL) stayed in bitch mode, because at least they'd have a norm. With JillR forget it - she's moody and (likely) a narcissist.
-
Jill is like an ex-SIL of mine - her kids never knew which version of mom they would get. I'm sure Tessa thought she was supposed look intently at whatever they were watching, because, you know, that's one version of Jill's reels. The elbow in the ribs told Tessa nope, we're are doing the smile and giggle - oops.

Carlin and Evan: But Mostly Carlin!

Carlin needed the dentist to tell her Layla's tooth is loose? Does Layla brush her teeth all on her own, without even monitoring from a parent? -
The Vuolos, Dillards aren't alone in this. I have one friend who posts 'action shots' of her kids with never anything more than a sliver of their profiles, but usually the backs of their heads. Another posts a yearly pic of hers. And of course there's still the few who post every "core memory" their kids have.

I had one tacked on the basement wall that said, Sheets need to be washed twice a year. Or something like that, lol.

Weirdly enough my dad's organs migrated due problems with his esophagus. He had a couple of surgeries years apart and the last one changed his life in not so good of a way. He was in his 80's for that one. Hoping Amy's youngish husband has a better outcome.

A couple of Jill's SsIL have 50 shades of beige homes, as well as a few of the Bates sisters and their homes look put together. IMO, Jill lacks the decorating gene. Not a big deal, but to me her home looks sad and not homey at all. I'm fairly certain they moved into their present home about 2 months before Freddie was born and have been there for about 3 years. Yup, I found this posted in May 2022 and Freddie was born in July.
