I was wondering if the grandparents might have been told to let the parents do the parenting, unless they ask for help. I can see where the grandparents might have wanted to help too much in the beginning.

My grandparents got married March 13, 1925; my mother was born Sept. 16, 1925. I think it bothered her, and I suspect she was teased by her younger sisters. I had no idea until I started doing genealogy.

And very smugly said it was a covenant marriage.

When talking to JimBob, didn't Austin say something about "to be safe"? I think it was in regards to the length of the engagement or courtship. JB just looked at him and nodded. What was that about?

Re: the dinner plate in front of Jill. It looks like there might be someone else sitting there off camera and we just see their dinner plate. Just a guess.

As to People magazine, etc., someone should tell Jill that the world doesn't revolve around her (or whatever she says to Izzy.)

I can just imagine the talk and jokes among Derick's co-workers about Jill being in the parking lot with his lunch and again to pick him up after work.

I think Ben really wanted Wilberforce for Henry's first name, too. But I get the feeling he won out with Spurgeon, so it was Jessa's turn. Ben LOVES giving those explanations for the name and how it's after some great religious leader that he admires. Also, I believe there was a dinner scene at the TTH where Jim Bob kind of asked Mike Seewald what he thought about Ben moving into the Duggar's guest house. And I always thought that Ben cleaning the toilets was an FU to Mike Seewald.

I hope Jessa steals Jill's thunder by announcing baby #3 on the day Jill gives birth. I just want to see Jills' face.

I'll bet Jill really wants to get ahead of Jessa though.

I also think that Jill was very unhappy with the way Izzie's birth played out. She may consider it his fault because he wasn't in the correct position. It will be interesting to see how she treats this baby if everything goes according to her birth plan.
