  1. Prediction: The Pats will win the SB in a close game, and Eagles fans will ask, "How the hell did we not win that?" Just like the Ram fans, Panther fans, Seahawk fans, and Falcon fans before them.
  2. Four or five year dynasties. This has been going on for 18 years. For me, the Pats in the SB is as uninteresting as Alabama in the national championship game. But I can only speak for myself.
  3. They don't listen to me.
  4. While that may be true, the I think NFC has been more competitive recently. Over the last 15 years or so, the Seahawks have made their run, the Saints won it all, and the Panthers, Falcons, Cardinals, Bears, and Eagles have gotten there. Throw in the Giants, Packers, and 49ers, and that's more than half the conference. Contrast that with the AFC, where it's pretty much just the Patriots, Steelers, Broncos, Colts and Ravens.
  5. We're talking about games the Patriots played in. SB 39 was the "first" Pats Eagles matchup.
  6. That was the only Super Bowl I ever skipped watching. Not interested in the sequel, either.
  7. NFC Version: 2002: Warner 2003: B. Johnson 2004: Delhomme 2005: McNabb 2006: Hasselbeck 2007: Grossman 2008: E. Manning 2009: Warner 2010: Brees 2011: Rodgers 2012: E. Manning 2013: Kaepernick 2014: Wilson 2015: Wilson 2016: Newton 2017: Ryan
  8. Perfect casting. I enjoyed the Office-style cringe moments, but Amy's story line is starting to get depressing. Loved Dina, as usual.
  9. As someone who has spent the first half of his life rooting for the Jets, and the second half rooting for the Panthers, it's much more frustrating to be competitive, but come up short every year. For me, anyway. I never think about Carolina's 1-15 and 2-14 seasons, but I sure think about those Super Bowl losses. I'd rather be a Browns fan than a Chiefs fan.
  10. I just realized that this doesn't make any sense, lol. I guess S2 is the most rewatchable, I just watched it one too many times.
  11. Yep. My wife is from Maine, and she can't stand it when it gets under 50 degrees in NC. On an unrelated note, how excited do you think Kirk Cousins' agent is to be watching this game?
  12. I had a feeling that the Rams' youth and inexperience was going to show up in the playoffs. That's why I wanted the Panthers to play them. Unfortunately, the Bucs didn't get the memo.
  13. With the Eagles looking less and less like a #1 seed, it was interesting watching the Rams and Saints jockey for the #4 seed. I guess once the Saints realized that the Panthers weren't coming back against the Falcons, they decided to throw the game to the Bucs. And I'm sure they'd rather play Carolina than Atlanta.
  14. This is why all fantasy playoffs should end before the last week of the season.
  15. Falcons own the tiebreaker over Seattle. If Atlanta wins, they're in.
  16. Every time Jimmy G. throws a td pass, my stepson (an annoying Pats fan) dies a little inside.
  17. People already talking about the Panthers relocating. I don't see it. That team makes a ton of money in Charlotte.
  18. They had shot six episodes when they found out they were going on hiatus until the spring. So no winter episodes.
  19. Count me as another person who never disliked Gina .....until she was gone, and I realized how much better the show is without her. If for no other reason than the fact that they stopped doing C-plots while she was gone. One less character to service. And we got more Scully and Hitchcock.
  20. What a trainwreck in Miami. Billion dollar team in a $600M stadium. Fans don't show up when the team is good, and now they're rebuilding from scratch. It's like a Black Hole of money.
  21. True, but with people streaming more and watching less live tv, syndication isn't the boost it used to be.
  22. TV Avalanche Podcast, Episode 43: The All-‘Parks And Recreation’ Episode
  23. As a Panther fan, I don't get this at all. I thought KB would get moved in the offseason, but in the middle of the season, when you're 5-3 and fighting for a playoff spot? Panthers offense (which wasn't very good anyway) just got worse.
