  1. Agreed. Ten years ago, my company faxed documents all the time. These days, most of our customers (and vendors) don't even have fax machines.
  2. It kinda surprises me when I see B99 fans who don't like P&R. The two shows share so much of the same DNA, and hit a lot of the same beats. Different strokes, indeed.
  3. You've been banging that drum for a while. I think this recent run of episodes prove that you were right all along.
  4. Panthers defense just set a team record for fewest 1st downs by an opponent - five. And lost by two touchdowns (to a team that completed 4 passes). Pathetic.
  5. Finally got to watch this. Great episode, but if you were a P&R fan, you had to see that proposal coming. Not that I'm complaining. As for the ratings, they've always been bad, but they've dropped off the cliff this year. I'm just glad we somehow got 5 seasons of this show.
  6. I'm an episode behind, but I just realized I didn't even notice she was missing.
  7. They tried. And failed miserably. Anyone remember "Whitney"? "Up All Night"? "A to Z"? I find "Great News" to be amusing, but forgettable. And with the current ratings, I don't see it making it to Season 3.
  8. He didn't even know her name. Cam is the best QB we've ever had in Charlotte. But the constant circus around him gets tiring.
  9. In the end, what bit Paul was all the unnecessary bullying & harassment, which he orchestrated (and the show downplayed). You can attribute Mark & Elena's votes directly to that.
  10. For me, rooting against Paul was the equivalent of rooting against production.
  11. Last year, I rooted for Paul and was pissed when he lost. But this was hilarious.
  12. Agreed. The difference being that TPTB always intended for Jim and Pam to get together. Michael's "happy ending" was kinda thrust upon them, once Steve Carell decided he wasn't renewing his contract. So that always rang a little hollow for me. Especially the entire office staff singing Rent songs to him. For me, there was no reason for this show to exist w/o Michael Scott. As far as Parks & B99 (which I both love), I think Mike Schur learned from some of the mistakes that were made on The Office. Specifically, letting the show become overshadowed by a "will they or won't they?" relationship.
  13. Saw the article a few days ago. Had to laugh at the commenters - article was straight up trolling, and they all took the hook. My problem with the Jim Halpert character is this: Once he got the girl, the writers had absolutely no idea what to do with him. Or Pam. If you view The Office as a love story (and some people do), an argument can be made that everything after "Niagara" is superfluous.
  14. "You should use your left hand to eat some vegetables."
  15. That HOH competition was the perfect microcosm of the season.
  16. Why in the world should Alex care about Jason throwing away jury votes? Especially considering the fact that she could be in the F2 against him?
  17. Agreed. Give him the 500K now, and fill the next month with CSI reruns.

    The NBA

Agreed. If Isaiah is healthy, Cleveland are still favorites to win the East this year. If LeBron bolts for LA at the end of the year, the Cavs will have a high lottery pick and a bunch of cap space. If you're a Cavs fan, what more could you ask for?
  19. Agreed. Don't like Paul, but at this point, it's the only acceptable outcome. When the rest of them are out of the house, they will finally be called out on their idiocy.
  20. Yup. Mark & Elena had no chance. More riggage for Paul.
  21. Could it be any more obvious that they were trying to throw that HOH to Paul.
  22. And it's my contention that there was nothing she could've done to save herself. So we'll just have to agree to disagree.
  23. She did all of that during her HOH week. How did that work out? If she had been doing all that stuff from week 1, she might've had a chance. At this point in the game, there was no way the house was going flip and miss out on the chance to break up Jessica and Cody. Not on Paul's watch.
  24. What chance was that? Besides Josh, who viewed Elena as a bigger threat than Jessica? ETA: Not saying Jessica wasn't a terrible player. She was.
