I'll pump the brakes before saying it's the return of a legendary matchup for the right to lose to the team that'll get humiliated by the eventual East winner. Despite saying so earlier. In other words, I'd bet on it, but only if I had to. It's looking like that now, but both teams (LA/GSW) are built & experienced to win out. That might be a problem for teams like Sacramento and Boston (and whomever else). However, they'll old teams that might go back & forth before a winner is crowned in six games
-
I guess I can crown Boston (no) thank to that Scott Foster news. Though I can also blame Golden State for failing to win or even compete in their sixth game , which was a home game

To be fair, there shouldn't be an A grades either. For one, Jamarcus Russell existed. Better yet, so did Sam Bradford (better example). If you get selected to be in the National Football League, that's successful alone. It's the highest level of (American) football as far as that goes on Planet Earth. Therefore, grading someone an F is not smart, period. On the other hand, grading someone with an A grade is not that smart either. While people have to play the game to prove that they suck, they also have to play the game to prove that they are that damn good. That's why I brought up people like Russell & Bradford, especially the latter. You never know until you know

Probably depends on Embiid's health and/or how great Harden is. I think Philly can win Game 1 due to the rest and being okay, but then get pummeled in Game 2
-
That is fair enough, and as a supporter of a business maximizing that, I have to respect it. However, I also respect the viewer and the fact that people have lives outside of sports. I'm not talking about me; I have outside stuff too, but I can handle it (or the DVR plays out). To be more specific, I just hope they don't go over by a lot when it's unnecessary. While I agree a short first night is bad for business, going well beyond Midnight is just disrespectful. JMO. On an unrelated note, it's possible I'll throw up if ANY of the AFC 2022-2023 playoff teams trade up to one of the Top 16 spots. And in a related note, I'm just glad that Philly is in the NFC. Gotta say sorry to the NFC to see the last team standing get better before most teams

Not much of a surprise with Bryce Young's name being the first of about two and a half dozen called/heard tonight. As mentioned sorta, the only surprise is the unnecessary stalling which adds time to the Thursday Draft that could end sooner than not. I believe he's the first Alabama (QB) taken first overall. That would be modern era. In case the 2021 Heisman winner didn't go to Carolina, Bama always had Broadway Joe to fill that honor before 1970 of course

The current unknown is the new OC in Todd Monken. It could be a scenario where Baltimore is super scary (better than 2019 which isn't too much), or a total nightmare
-
I think I'll let it play out instead of coming up with 1202 guesses only to be wrong everytime

If Butler turns into just another human being playing the role as an average hoops player on the way to a loss to Boston or New York, then his efforts would not only emulate the most important game of the 3 against Atlanta, but SUPER Jimmy Butler would have been all for nothing. That being said, no way this Milwaukee team was going to survive against the Celtics or even NY had they made it. As mentioned, injuries and really high level NBA action did not help the Bucks. Most important, gotta give credit to Miami despite whatever I'd said. The Heat played who they played, they still had to earn the win, and they did

I think they can be okay in Game Six. Memphis was up against it to where L.A. felt better off punting to the next game. They will have to win there or else. Not saying it's an auto Game 7 loss, but the longer the season the more they'll be doomed against Golden State or Sacramento. And to be fair, despite 3-1, they really were fortunate to survive on Monday
-
Huh. I though LA was up 3 games to 1 heading into Game 5. Of did Memphis steal homecourt back from them to regain home court advantage
-
Meh. Even though the future isn't promised, the world continues. Try again over the weekend, Los Angeles
-
Meh. Kane wouldn't have been Top 5 in terms of one's humiliation in terms of HII and TC
-
100% on Frannie FTW. BTW, I think she's become more of game than relationship. It's been a minute and a half since Matt's ouster. She beats Danny (days after Brandon), and then she thinks outside of the box. It didn't work, but that might be a good thing with Carolyn still in the game
-
I'm sorry, but Yam Yam is the latest example of why I hate the Final 3 format. BTW, if I'm actually right, please let me know. I did not read any spoilers, and you know I would never post actual spoilers. That would be petty. As mentioned, people might think he's a mastermind, but I'd think they would've targeted him somewhat by now
-
Well, Carolyn survived...so I guess I have to end the night sorta livid. I honestly have no idea how things end in 4 weeks, but unless someone does something bigger than big, while Carolyn would be a deserving winner, Yam Yam is getting that invisible Final 3 edit with an invisible result
-
Heidi survives, but man that wasn't that exciting
-
Every-so-often...I wait for the words or for the infamous saying.... "Oh no! It's Boston Rob's music!"
-
Shut up Yam Yam. Though to be fair, in a real-life era, Yam Yam would be great to have a drink with or socialize or whatever, but man, it's tough seeing him in action here
-
Man, I hope this works for Frannie. Danny might want to listen since he seems to be the most vulnerable
-
Great job by Frannie...I'm only pissed off that she won because I sorta wanted Danny to win. So not hating from me to Frannie at all. I just wanted Massa to win since he's the most determined to emulate what Survivor is all about...and Frannie already won (which isn't factor at all due to people winning multiple stuff in the past). If it were Yam Yam she'd defeated, I'd be doing cartwheels. Instead, it's the one person that saved her...and that might've cost Danny in more ways than one
-
Heidi knows what's up. Might be the perfect spot in case of someone turning on someone that has the HII
-
Just bring up a twist to vote out everybody that sits out, and they all go home
-
Danny respecting the history of Survivor. Massa FTW!
