So much for the one thing that helps one get to sleep as opposed to doing so mid afternoon when stuff has to get done. While I don't think Boston will crumble to Miami regardless of who's available for the latter, I sorta have no plans of watching Miami/Chicago. One has a more positive history against what should be the East winner, the other...really I couldn't even dream of a positive history. Injuries suck, but it's sports. You want to see the best perform, but one could argue that everyone in the league is among the best to ever play the game. Within the current era of course
  3. It's going to be a rather long 5 weeks at least before I see some people in Fiji answering for their gameplay. Unless you actually are the one that gets all of the cash for winning
  4. Well, I guess the warning lived up to its hype!
  5. I think it is a coin flip either way here. Of course it would fail if say Tiffany doesn't have a plan B, especially when she's fair game for the boot. Tevin, meanwhile, knows that no one's splitting the title. It's great early but I've seen so many times a decent alliance not even make it to the penultimate episode let alone the finale
  6. Unless it has nothing to do with gameplay...Or common sense, such as: she's on the way out & Q says, Take my torch...and give it to Peachy
  7. Apparently, EGO is the first commercial after that recent segment. You CANNOT make that up!
  8. If someone hadn't seen Survivor until 29 minutes ago, they'd think this was a returning cast seasons full of people America voted as sorta feeling sorry for!
  9. I mean, it's embarrassing that it's basically been done away with, especially when the show extended to 90 minutes. Though not surprising
  10. I mean, Tevin could not have been more wrong there. The fact that he spoke it was a blindside in & of itself!
  11. That is fine, but the advice is people have to laugh to preserve laugh. "Villain" Venus or Venus acting like something better than slice bread is hilarious
  12. I think I might be okay with Venus getting the credit. Soda did ask after all!
  13. And if it isn't, good thing we have Jeff to say that it was worth it!

I think the Lakers actually have a chance this time around. They're not taking both of the first two games in Denver, but I think they'll be able to split there. The Nuggets will quickly erase that deficit / LA home field before a return back home, but amid last year's 4-game sweep, the games were actually close. Well, at least the people that might not like Denver can enjoy a worse beating in the NBA Finals by the East Champions which will be an official denial of a repeat before the series actually ends. Speaking of endings, that's what it's all about for the GSW! New era NBA indeed!

Probably a smart & correct call to win your game & not lose to avoid Denver. Maybe LA gets knocked out in Round one, but avoiding the champs isn't great either. I don't know if anyone else that would've played them first beats them

I'll stay away from betting NBA. Since it appears that not many would back Philadelphia, in favor of Denver, new era teams, the Heat, and of course Miami. It might be tough to avoid laughing if Embiid and company win out
  17. I'm not sure what Scottie Scheffler did during Monday's eclipse, but a couple things, IMO, are true. With his second jacket in 3 years, he eclipsed his first performance. More important, by the end of the month, his story eclipsed at least most of those that were treated to a very nice time. Fortunately, he didn't have to bolt mid tournament & back to Texas to be there for the birth of his first child. Which, by the way is bigger than both of his wins at Augusta. All jokes aside, one thing is isn't a joke is Scottie is definitely the best player in the world.
  18. Final pairings include Bryson & Xander (Third-to-Last Group) ; Aberg & Homa (Penultimate Pairing Group) ; and Scheffler & Morikawa (Final Pairing). Within the Top 5, from one player to the next, it's a one-shot separation (from -7 to -3, DeChambeau's spot). Schauffele is among 3 people tied at -2, and then the final 4 players in red figures include the two Camerons. I neglected to mention the third Cameron (Davis -2) on Saturday. He's five back. Also, Fleetwood has a shot, but there's just a lot of people within reach so he would probably have to shot a 62 and hope someone just do 50% of that. FWIW, I think 7 of the past 8 winners came from the last group. Probably should've been 8 for 8. Feels like it's been the case over the past dozen years. While we have a chance to see Homa win, someone new & unknown win, along with Bryson, if the trend holds we're either getting yet another player that's one event away from the career grand slam, OR another trend (where a year ending in the number 4 features Player A who put a green jacket on Player B who put a green jacket on Player A in a different year within a 3-year period)
  19. Max Homa had the best second day combined with the overall outcome after 36 holes. It's a 3-way tie with him, Scottie, and Bryson (-6). Morikawa is 3 shots back, and the Cams are both 5 shots back. To be fair Tiger has a chance, and Rahm, well, at least made the weekend. Rory will be playing this weekend as well. Unless proven otherwise, however, Jack's record at Augusta is safe, Jon will be putting the green jacket on someone else, and the number of career grand slam winners will remain the same. The only big name that missed is Spieth. Though Jordan played okay, the issue of blowing everything in one single hole was present. Biggest headline is a new record. 24 straight made cuts at the Masters for the 5-time Masters champion. That, I believe is a records in major events outright. No more than 40 people have even played in over 2 dozen major events in their lifetime. Woods' 100th round at the Masters is scheduled for Sunday, April 14, 2024
  20. Death, taxes, Tiger making it to the weekend, Rory in the position of waiting until next year, and Scottie amongst the leaders without much effort. On a different note, I'm going to miss Verne.

Roamyn: I have to admit that when I read this, I was saddened. Yeah, I was upset to see your reaction. The site of encountering Norm Macdonald would have been worth the price of admission. OJ stating his case would have been interesting, complete with Norm's take of, "I'm sorry; I didn't know you were sick!"

At this rate, Kansas City could end up breaking New England's records, and yet the total will still trail the total number of criminals the Chiefs have employed dating back to 2012

Wonder if Belcher greeted him there. I do feel for Calvada & the situation of not getting the Packers game on that Friday despite being pretty close. While I subscribe to Peacock & Paramount, it is still vexatious that the trend of people having to sign up for every since app for NFL viewing is the side. When it ends up on an app I don't have, that would be unfortunate. However, am at peace toward the decision to purchase it or not watch it. Furthermore, if my team is featured, then my network will air it. So that's good. A boycott of the NFL does me no good. If I skip a game, it's due to the long term need for a streaming service coupled with the endgame of a decision of whether it's worth it. I'm one fan; for every fan that's "done with the NFL" the league will find (at least) 5 more to replace it. Nonetheless, and IMO, it's not a shocker that Green Bay gets that benefit. The league is going to do that for them as well as with the Cowboys & the Steelers. Those are the top notch programs, something that might not change in a while, if ever
