As mentioned, Applebee's is okay for me. Not on my Top Ten for options for eating & drinking. That's regardless of quality and business level. People like Liz & Tiffany can eat wherever they want and whenever they want, but IMO, I would think they can do better. Or there are better options on a weekly basis. Applebee's is great when it comes to advertising. There's the part of making money & what I'd disagree with. That would be someone saying "no thanks". Unless you have options, I wouldn't pass on Applebee's, so Survivor and other big business are smart to do business with them. Just not a fan of making an episode out of it. I guess 90 minute-episodes counted here

Applebee's is fine. While I haven't been to one in quite awhile, the one or two times I went for the full experience was pretty good. No issues for me. I can't say the same thing about TGIF; BWW can be hit or miss (rarely the latter), but sometimes things aren't great. I just concluded it as a busy period and nothing personal. And it wasn't since the people at the Buffalo Wild Wings I've gone to hustle. No laziness there. For me, definitely better than Applebee's. In terms of quality, of course one would rank it over a fast food place, but not necessarily preference. This (the lack of not being able to make fire) blows my mind. And Liz had it in here to say someone wrecked her game. What game. While the final 4 fire-making thing isn't unpopular, you sorta need to be able to handle that, or you better win the last IC.

In an attempt to take it one step further than JudyObscure as it relates to the disappointment toward Ben, sometimes I'd root for an unpopular outcome. Or not, but be okay with the following: Q makes a move to boot Ben. While being okay with losing, he decides to go with an attempt to do whatever it took to stay in the game. At least until Ben was no longer in the game. That way of addressing Q's rights or decision to choose people other than Liz would be fine for me. It doesn't change how great it would be for him to be out, but at least you doing something that shows care in the game of Survivor. Can't change past actions, but just have to move forward from here

IMO, there are better options in Western Pennsylvania than Applebee's. Including Arby's, one or 2 McDonalds, Subway, and even one or 2 Little Caesars (the KMART ones)

For several options on news related to the release of the 2024-2025 CBS Primetime TV schedule, I'd go a GOOGLE search for them. Especially given the fact that The Wrap actually wrote something to the tune of Survivor being back with an "All-Star Cast" for Season 47 which, in reality, is more than the opposite.

That would make this week's episode about 27 seconds long bc it's mostly an Applebee's commercial. I probably would have replied with a gif full of a standing ovation if I had more time. Since that isn't happening, I might have to frame your response and display it in the Hall of Fame instead. And Jodithgrace, you have nothing to be sorry for. I pretty much do the same. Though I never expected a point where it might be better to fast forward from one commercial break to the next, but here we are

I can't understand how Applebee's exists as a food chain. That's just me since I can cook. Plus, when Chick F La is an option and someone had to eat out, there are other options. Speaking of options, I think I'd take the option of simply walking out of TC if I lost. Saying it's awesome to get blindsided is insulting to people that didn't make it onto Survivor. I don't need for someone to cause a scene, but I need to see a little fire or some pain for losing. Show that you care more than people like me who can't understand why you'd bother to obtain a hidden immunity idol to use as a Ponderosa poker card protector before playing it to advance in the game

I'm sure Liz is a rather decent person in real life. The fact is that there are a ton more worse people in life than Liz. That being said, this show may not have been for her. Maybe going on a race around the world would've been a better call. Liz's comp is Danielle. You want the positives but can't take the heat. While big moves is key, how you handle it is important too. In addition, eating is important, but maybe sign up for Top Level Chef or Kitchen Nightmares in lieu of Survivor next time. At the end of the day, Liz's behavior isn't new, but this is in the moment material. There are people that are worse off than her, both in the show's history & in real life. I'd probably struggle too, but I'd die trying to fight through it. Otherwise, I'd be out of the game. But not only are there people in a worse spot on Planet Earth, they didn't even get a chance to be on television. Heck, they didn't even get 15 seconds on the dame radio! If Liz is ever on the show again, I think she'd be able to handle things better, but after about a quarter century of Survivor, you have to know that there are other options to be on TV (or not) where you don't have to suffer for not being about to eat or even drink

If Jeff had to actually signal for it, then maybe Peachy's NEW ERA ain't great TV

I'm not even sad anymore. Maybe more irate. Not at the vote, but c'mon man! Instead of realizing how bad it was to just sit there after the very last TC... If anything...to add insult to injury, she'll forgo blaming herself, and THANKS to her blunder, it'll cost someone money!

I'm sorry to tell you: I have NO sympathy for Tiffany.
-
I think they've been doing the makeup thing for sometime. Maybe since 2006

Tango64: Everybody's talking about the episode in chat. I think your questions were answered/addressed in there

You know this episode is all over the place if Venus ends up losing, to where I'd actually not be happy. Not mad or sad, but just meh.
-
If Tiffany exits, I'll be okay if it turns out that she passed it off to Kenzie (for a nice upcoming blindside) or someone, tried to make a move in case she's not the target, but it didn't work
-
I think it's the third Second consecutive. Sorta like Season 16. And that year someone actually played an idol before the back-to-back. The thing with that was that Survivor has a decent enough budget to made a HII look like a HII
-
100%. One could say that Liz has been the focus of the episode, and not in a good way. From there, they may have forgot that Venus was still in it
-
Billy Ocean.
-
I'd say bye to Tiffany, but given the history of "dumb" players, I shouldn't not have to.
-
In a perfect world, the director's cut of this season would have Liz getting kicked out for Bruce. That is not a popular decision, but I said Liz, and not Kenzie
-
I'd also like to think no one will put up with Bhanu's crap and he'd be an early out. First 5 seconds of Survivor sometime in February or March of 2026. "Bhanu? The tribe has spoken. Actually, it was just me. You thought you actually had a chance? HA!"
-
Q was an epic dick not to take her, especially after hearing how important this reward was to her. He was, but it's more common than death and taxes to snub someone that put your name down TWICE. As mentioned, nobody made her sign up for Survivor. Imagine if she'd played with returning people
-
The fact is, everybody has issues, even those that don't appear to have them. At least Liz was on television; several others can't even get on the damn radio.
-
That would've made for a decent episode title

The only thing left is death apparently. Help is available.
