Of course you're right! How naive to purchase real property on that basis. I took it that they were equating getting "married" to some expensive "wedding." One thing has little to do with the other. You can have the "wedding reception" at a later date. Personally, I always thought (not that anyone should care) that the BIG WEDDING should be held after about 10 yrs of being married (or at least 3 years) as by the time you spend all that $$$ on a reception the couple should know if they are getting along (with or without children). By being "married" you can see how things evolve and if successful and loving, THEN you can spend the big bucks on another ceremony and reception.

I've lived in Phoenix for over 30 years and couldn't BELIEVE how mediocre the homes she was shown were in the $700K price range. The one she bought had absolutely no "curb appeal" with a quirky interior that had no features I thought were appealing. The 2nd Scottsdale choice was also very modest in appeal. The 3rd home in Phx was better insofar as attractive features and SPACE ; however, I understand the kids wanting to remain in Scottsdale schools. When I see what $700K buys in other parts of the Country it pains me to think of how the Greater Phx area compares. Also, there was something off-putting about the buyer's voice and personality that stuck with me throughout the episode.

I think they stayed together for any monetary benefit or advantage they reap from it. I wonder if they're still in that same Rhode Island apt where they've been for years. She made a big fuss over expanding their family a few yrs ago when they "reconciled" but I believe nothing has ever come of that.

I noticed that on Tori's IG YESTERDAY, she had a video about her COACHING Lilah oh WRITING the letter "B"! I think she wrote the "example" on a line on a workbook page, and Lilah was supposed to copy the example. Lilah tried as best she could and I thought it was a "start." HOWEVER, in response to Tori's encouraging "chatter" during the exercise, I still could not make out a word that Lilah was saying, so there's that! Who knows maybe someone who knows someone who knows someone who reads these boards, MAY have brought the fact of Tori's attention that Lilah's speech delay NEEDS ATTENTION!!

Yes, I agree! I think it's because they had Jackson undergo "stop-gap" surgery that accomplished nothing visible but will, they say, have some positive results in years to come. So, on that basis, I guess they placate themselves that they've done everything they could to address the issue.

I also thought she was saying, "si, si" because that's how Tori usually refers to the baby. I REGULARLY see Tori's IG posts and am struck by the fact that although she portrays Lilah regularly in different situations, Lilah's SPEECH has not improved ONE IOTA from the time MANY MONTHS AGO when the show was airing and Tori specifically said on the show that she was going to prioritize Lilah's speech delays with PERSONAL TEACHING TOOLS. I find it so irritating that, apparently, what the viewers observe about Lilah's speech delay is, apparently no "big deal" to Tori (I won't even include Zach as he's completely uninvolved as far as I can tell). That little girl DESERVES parents who are in tune with her special needs so she may be able to function "normally" in society where she will, for sure, have enough challenges. I also agree that Lilah is very cute.

Since the era of "size acceptance" emerged (with overweight being re-branded as "CURVY,") I sense that regardless of a woman's weight and/or appearance she sees herself as "attractive" in whatever she picks out to wear irrespective of how unflattering others might find her outfit on her particular figure. In other words, ANY "JUDGMENTAL OR CRITICAL" opinions (whether voiced by words or facial expression😊) places the speaker into a hateful category that NO ONE would want to be placed into. 'NUF SAID!

I completely agree that Nicole was and is INSUFFERABLE! How Chris can sustain his sanity constantly listening to her babbling is beyond me. My brain borderline blows up when she goes on her verbal tirades ESPECIALLY when she offers her "professional" assessments and other comments about the OTHER COUPLES RELATIONSHIP ISSUES!!

Agree. She really offered nothing attractive to entice a man to even want to get to know her better. She seemed like a very negative person who was "pressured" to participate in the show by her mother and never adapted to her role as a personality on reality TV. Gil, from Houston, on the other hand, is a AAA WINNER, as far as I'm concerned and could certainly, without a doubt, find a much more compatible romantic partner than she would ever be in 100 yrs! To this DAY, I'm disheartened about the SHABBY treatment he received from MYRLA, the vamp, very shortly after Decision Day when she left him "high and dry" with no warning and nowhere to live.

Dom seems to be attracting such attention among several MAFS guys (past and present). Someone please enlighten me about the basis for this frenzy of "attraction" as I must have missed something.

I'm completely with you! I think they WILL stay together for any and all filming (for the $$$$) and then he'll tire of being treated like her "son," guiding his every move with her BIG MOUTH and misplaced sense of psychological "superiority". The mentality of someone who could have plastered such an unsightly tattoo on her arm to "advertise" whatever it is that it depicts (I never could decipher what it was) has issues with appropriate behavior when it comes to appearance that manifests in many other ways (like the time she INSISTED he dress up in that ridiculous COSTUME for a get-together and he complied). Nicole is a study in contradictions resulting in her personality being obnoxious, controlling and all together off-putting. I can't FOR ONE MINUTE, see Chris living in such an oppressive environment for a lifetime but, hey, I know that the "Stockholm Syndrome" is REAL!! My last comment on this duo is that I HOPE that nicole doesn't become a "stalker" when Chris dumps her, tracking his every move and going into "tantrums" when he starts dating someone new!!

I agree! I can't get over the MASSIVE POSITIVE TRANSFORMATION in Dr. Pepper's appearance. In previous seasons, she looked like a disheveled MESS with a face that resembled a sagging, wrinkled dishrag. This season, she looks professional and "pulled together" with a shining, bright, presentable appearance. Much improved!!

I thought I heard him say that if they bought the house they did for a bargain price and spent whatever was necessary for the reno they could keep their present house and not rent it. Between the reno and the cost of purchasing, housing and caring for all those animals combined with the trips they plan to take, the motorized vehicles and farm equipment they will need and other furnishings they will have to purchase, I'm thinking maybe they have some other source of income at their disposal. Fire fighters, as heroic as they are, don't make that much $$$. However, maybe her sales job produces massive commissions selling equipment to fire houses. They're obviously getting the $$ from somewhere!

On another note, I'm hoping that perhaps some DENTIST on Long Island, N.Y. where the guy lived, saw the episode and would contact the show to DONATE his/her services to get him some much needed TEETH!! I'm not sure how he survives financially as he obviously couldn't work with the pre-Dr. Lee medication; however, even with his prospective girlfriend/roommate who must help with his expenses, it wouldn't be realistic to think he could afford the dental work. I KNOW from personal experience how expensive cosmetic dental work can be. I'm not sure whether the dentist would have to pull all his teeth and fit him for dentures, instead; however, whatever it would take to get this lovely man "presentable" and able to EAT normally, would be worth it!

Yes, I agree that the prison authorities (who would have probably permitted her to have a live interview with Dateline) agreed to have her respond to prepared questions from Dateline. I would also presume that her LAWYER was the one who instructed her to answer the questions: "I didn't do it." 😊

I watched last night's episode and was surprised at the mediocre level of ability of all 4 chefs from the Navy. I seem to recall many previous shows with military chefs (including that grand finale lady winner who bought a food truck with her huge winnings!!) and the contestants were among the most expert and creative ever to appear. Hopefully, the abilities of chefs from the other military branches will improve on the performance shown last evening. I will continue to watch because I simply love the theme!

He may be getting a substantial amt of $$$ from ongoing and continuing student loans that, of course, will end when he graduates. The student loan pkgs not only cover tuition and books but living expenses, as well. Also, insofar as repayment plans (govt student loans) they are suspended at this time (as far as I know) and when payment resumes they peg the repayment amt maximum to only a certain %age of your wages.

I also note that not too long ago, both were discussing having a child. From some video clip that I saw, Jamie was lamenting that he's 39 and mentioning not being too old to be a father at his age or even when he's older. Maybe that's something they might reach a decision about should they ever consider getting back together. I think that will happen.
