  1. Just throwing some spec out there, what if Dany orders cersei and the baby to be put to death. This could signal a descent into '' madness''. Tyrion will have an issue, thus wanting to free cersei. Even Jon could view it as' 'not honourable' ', since the child would have been Dany or himself in the past. Jon and tyrion may distinguish killing cersei and killing her child.
  2. Not sure if I believe the latest spoilers that Jon reserects Dany, especially with the kiss of life. It seems a little too disney with the trope of true loves kiss (even if the result is Jon dies). Not sure grrm would go this way.
  3. I think the problem that Olivia had with the role of first lady was that Fitz wanted to keep in her in the 1950's version. It was shown when Abby suggested the get Olivia's help with passing the budget and he mentioned that she was "busy". Either for selfish reasons or as a punishment, Fitz didn't want her to have an expanded role.
  4. Regarding the question about series commitment, most shows with one will proceed to air somewhere on the network (even burned off on Saturdays). However, there are exceptions. Hieroglyph from Fox never saw the light of day last year. The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt was picked up by netflix after NBC unloaded it.
  5. I am not sure how they slot in the performer's for most of the show, but I recall reading a producer's interview whereby they stated that they save the final performance slot for a contestant who will have a "moment". Sometimes, they haven't even decided until after dress rehearsal. Saving the most buzzy-worthy performance for last ensures the show finishes on a high note. It will also wash away all out of key performances. :)
  6. In the end, I also don't think the "secret" room was much of an advantage, it transformed M+K to a four bedroom without the benefit of having additional funds to spend on the room. Also, it was accessible by a spindle staircase and seemed unconnected to the appartment. Not sure the additional uptick to the reserve price was worth it.
  7. While the above article is an answer to why Kalinda and Alicia are not BFFs, it doesn't really answer why the don't share scenes anymore. It was quite strange that everytime Alicia went to LG she never ran into Kalinda and vis versa. Even during this Cary storyline, you would think they would have a conversation about the matter. Instead, its Diane and Kalinda, Alicia and Robin, Diane and Alicia, Cary and Kalinda. From a storytelling point of view it doesn't make sense that the characters don't intereact more.
  8. I think the "official" reason is that it doesn't make sense based on the characters relationships ie: Kalinda "betraying" Alicia by neglecting to mention her past with Peter etc. However, in my opinion, there must be something behind the scenes. The characters according to a buzzfeed article in 2014 hadn't shared a scene in 30 episodes. That's a long time and is starting to get noticeable.
  9. How I tend to read the situation is that Liza's discovery of the radiation has sparked an "episode" for lack of better word without knowing her condition. I don't think the gov't would have been suspicious of her yet to sweep her house and remove everything radioactive from the premises. It would take too much time and she hadn't yet confessed her discoveries to anyone. Instead, I think the discovery of the lack of safety controls has sparked an "episode" which led to her finding radiation everywhere. One thing I was wondering after seeing syd's widow is why did Frank bring his family with him to New Mexico? Of all the scientists, he knew the danger/restrictions of the program along with his wife's history of mental illness. Why did he think it would be good to bring them along with his wife having to give up her career and be put in a high stress situation. Wouldn't it be easier to reunite after the war?
  10. A rewatch of this episode reiterated one thing for me in that for all of Jessica and Harvey's legal skills and ability to outmaneouver opponents on the fly, their one big flaw is their inability to compromise or give a little. Had they let Louis take Versa Life or one small client to Zane, they would have had his gratitude and continued loyalty. Instead, Jessica was adamanat that she didn't care about what happened to Louis and couldn't care less if he found a job. Harvey, while caring about Louis, wasn't willing to find a way for him to stay in the only city he ever loved. Offering a job in Cinniciati is no compromise for Harvey. In their minds because Louis screwed up so immensely and betrayed the firm, he was not entitled to any assistance. Had they been willing to bend a little, Mike's past would never have been discovered.
  11. Ah.....but you are forgetting the most important thing which was that Harvey threatened to quit if Jessica got rid of Mike. As shown endlessly, Jessica believes that Harvey is integral to the firm and gives him tons of leeway to break the rules. That's one reason I was pleased that she refused to hire back Mike when asked by Harvey.
  12. I'm not sure that the decreasing ratings can be solely related to the Brandon/Callie story line. It can take some time for a show to stabilize its ratings. It's not uncommon to see drops in its 1st season. In addition, some of the highest rated episodes in season 1 dealt with either their relationship or its fallout. Furthermore, i don't think that the ratings are sufficiently bad enough that the network would interfere in the show runner's vision.
