  1. T is for Thomas, Cinderella's own Prince Charming
  2. Technically, the episode started with a flashback of Emma giving birth to Henry. And I think you mean 'Dark Hollow' as 'Ariel' was all about short party dresses and Lana living the dream of being Ursula. ;) But, yeah, the lack of a new story happening during The Missing Year really grinds my gears. One would almost think they didn't think 3B through very well and were just obsessed with their shiny new toy, Zelena. ETA: Maybe 'White Out' is actually referring to the fairyback having a blizzard of some sorts. And, as to characters being from long ago, I'm sure A&E could wank it that Arendelle has been Frozen all this time and just unthawed when the Dark Curse was undone, so those characters travelled to Storybrooke for the first time with the Merry Men or something. Logic need not apply.
  3. Yeah, the 'you trust me, so you're chaining me up to die??????' face was priceless. I would agree but
  4. I didn't even think of that. We could have gotten a flashback all about how Walsh was sent to meet Emma and what the heck he was actually doing. Argh! Wasted potential!!!!
  5. Things I liked: Emma got an episode. By only focusing on basically 3 characters (only side helping of Snow, Aurora, and Mulan) after being split 20 different ways for the preceding episodes, the storyline was that much tighter, and the parallels in the flashback and the present were excellent. My biggest issue with this episode was the CGI. I had a hard time taking anything that happened on the beanstalk adventure seriously because it came off so cartoonish. Oh, look, Hook is getting crushed, I think? It's hard to say as he's standing straight up and yet rocks are on top of him. And let's have actors have lots of dialogue with other characters that aren't really there. That's always a good idea. Also, confession time as a CS shipper, I kinda anti-shipped CS this episode. Well, not CS themselves but that the writers seemed to be telling me to ship them instead of making me want to ship them. It's my big problem with how OQ is presented, actually, and that hasn't been fixed yet for me, whereas I got over my anti-cs-ness a couple episodes later.
  6. Well, yeah, their Rumple was a one-off so he needed to be beaten. But I did think it was a cool twist with the name thing (All his aliases used the letters in Rumpelstilskin eg. Neill Trumptkiss) since OUAT just ignored that part of the character completely.
  7. lol That's a great tagline for Adam and Eddy. First part, YES! That's originally where I thought they were going to go when outlaw queen met in the past was that they were together and then forgot, but they WEREN'T and it definitely soured me to the fast track coupling in the present time. At least I get to use this relationship to point to whenever someone says captain swan was rushed? Second part, and it's such a shame that I feel like they've closed off that period of time, never to be explored again. Like, how could they? It was so early on that they found out about Zelena, then at the end of the year apparently nothing else had happened, all focus on Zelena. Boo.
  8. I think Rockybeach is referring to wanting to take him back to New York? I still get a kick out of Emma saves a life, she must apologize, Regina kills lots of people, no regrets. (I'm only using Regina as my example because the whole argument is about the two of them, I don't actually HATE Regina) Somewhat related, is anyone here a Swan Queener here? I generally don't cross paths with any but I want to know what they feel about the Emma saving Marion's life situation. Are they mad at Emma for ruining Regina's happiness? Or are they saying see? She wants her for herself.
  9. Hey, I could be down with that except for I didn't see that attitude from him in the Enchanted Forest. Maybe Regina doing a good thing and saving Roland was actually a turn off for him? Really, that's where I'm finding the biggest disconnect in their story. Their initial meetings were even so similar that it comes down to him having a tatoo as the reason they're together and that bothers me so much.
  10. What Aliasscape and stealinghome said, but you are also saying 25 years as if anyone recognized that any of that time passed. In the town's viewpoint Regina was mass murdering before the curse and it was only a couple of months (at most) after everyone regained they're memories that she wanted to destroy the whole town.
  11. Wait. If Emma was soooo concerned about preserving her own timeline, then bringing Marion to the future with her isn't the best move on her part as you stated that she purposefully changed the timeline by doing this. ANY CHANGES MADE TO THE TIMELINE COULD EFFECT HER AS SHE WASN'T BORN YET. You don't just get to pick and choose like that and just KNOW what'll effect you or not. So, either there were no changes to the timeline after this point, or she wasn't only concerned about how it impacted her.
  12. C is for Cane, that he beats people with.
  13. More on the bike scene. Maybe this means we'll finally get some of that fish out of water plot with Elsa.
  14. I think by sticking soooo strictly to the original design of the dress was a mistake. Seeing the full version I think it looks kind of cheap. So, timeline wise it goes, Charming family walk, Hook pulls Emma aside, flirty times (or is this a different scene?), then Grumpy interrupts, then they chase after Elsa into a building, yes? So, is Elsa just going around freezing everything and hiding out? Or is she attacking someone inside? Because, let's face it, who would feel the need to get away from the scary team of Hook and Emma. Oh, yeah, forgot that there is an actual confrontation outside first. Thanks.
  15. Wait. Wait. This would probably solve the disconnect the audience was having between little Bae and Neal. Can't have that. It's much more interesting that Peter Pan is also the Pied Piper.
  16. So I've been reading a lot of future fics lately where everyone ends up in the Enchanted Forest happily ever after and it got me remembering that I always thought the show would end with Storybrooke being a gateway of sorts to the Enchanted Forest and they could travel back and forth willy nilly. And all because of that early season one episode where the mine collapsed. There was that shot at the end that went down the mine shaft and showed the Enchanted Forest, yes? (I don't think I made it up, but it happens) Anyway, my question is: what the heck was that about?
  17. Sorry, I should have been clearer. My response was about the TLK portion of the curse breaking that 'anyone can do it'. Time had already started in Storybrooke and had nothing to do with TLK. And the 'miserable lives' and 'restoring people to their original identities' is what I'm referring to as breaking the memory curse. I'm not trying to say Emma wasn't the saviour and needed for curse 1.0, I'm just saying the second curse wasn't even a curse if there was nothing to break. Was there even any time stoppage going on? And if so, when did it restart? How is this the same curse Adam and Eddy!?!?!
  18. You know, Wandering1 does bring up a somewhat valid point. All Emma really did with her TLK was break the memory curse (but she was also being a saviour by bringing people together, yes) but there WAS no memory curse the second time until Zelena added it last minute. (And that's all Regina's TLK did was break the memory curse added after the fact) So what would even need to be broken in curse 2.0?
  19. I just feel the need to point out that the Jen interview is from 2012 before a million new characters were added so, it's not the best comparison. I mean, even Meghan was interviewed at that same time in that 2012 set. (Lana, Josh, Ginny were also there, basically the adult regulars excluding Robert) In the 2013 roundtable interviews it's more likely that Colin and MRJ got grouped because of all the dumb triangle talk and sheer number of cast members to interview. And I think I've seen gifs from when they were interviewed solo as well. (can't find the actual interviews)
  20. Dani-Elle is correct about the inter-realm travelling methods not working until the curse was recast**, but I wanted to add that the last time there were beans (that weren't dried up, dead, and useless or fiercely protected by giants until James and Jack came along) was 300 years ago, when Blue gave one to Bae and Hook went to Neverland, yes? So, am I supposed to infer that the one itty bitty plant that Regina didn't burn and she kept in her office was transported back to the Enchanted Forest and Anton's been tending to it and handing them out like candy to people who would trade for the Jolly Roger? Or...? Where did the bean come from???? ** I still call bs on that since Bae went to London no problem
  21. I remember just skimming the first few chapters (it was so wordy) and not really getting into it until maybe the fifth/sixth chapter when the actual plot started coming together. I ended up liking it, but it's not one of my OMG!faves. One of the few AUs that I like that take place in modern settings is Hamlet and the Pirates (highschool setting) because the author really connected events in the fic to events in the show. eg. Emma being shuffled from home to home, Neal disappearing on her after she thinks she's pregnant, Regina having a grudge against Snow because of her big mouth to Cora, etc. I like Lady Silverblood's When In Rome and Ghosts of Britannia (ancient Rome setting) for the similar reasons.
  22. My brother commented to me about Elsa being on OUAT the day after the finale and he has never watched/been interested in the show ever, so people outside the show's fanbase have definitely heard about it. Whether that translates to viewership... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  23. Guys, I am 100% sure that is not the actual cover art for season 3. Cover art isn't always available when DVD release's come out and recognizable temporary art is used as a place holder until the final art selection is decided. It's very likely going to have a similar look to the first two seasons. So chillax please.
