  1. But wasn't that the point? To show how sloppy, and careless the criminal justice system is on every level? That's basically what Michael K Williams, the actor who played Freddie said in an interview. One of the people interviewing him said that they weren't happy with the ending because they didn't find out definitively who the murderer was. Michael went on to explain that the writers goal overall was to show how fucked up the system was, that there was a crime within a crime, that the second crime was the criminal justice system itself. I think having Naz's lawyer, the female (I can't remember her name), behave the way she did was just another example of another player in the system, not serving justice with the integrity that it should be served. I do wish they had more time to explain just WTF was going on with her, her background. Why the hell would she throw her career away? Shit, all that damn work that goes into law school, then trying to pass the damn bar exam. The NYS bar exam at that? You're going to throw that away? I use to live in NYC and I sat on a jury, my dad use to get called to sit on the grand jury all the time. And yes, they are sloppy and the lighting in those courtrooms is dark and dreary. Even the damn hallways are dark and if it weren't so stressful and depressing depending on the case, the lighting would put you to sleep.
  2. Well Hillary actually said that Citizens United was about her. She said it about twice during the primary debates when Bernie brought up Citizens united as her defending herself in being motivated to have it overturned. She didn't give the details like we got here, but she definitely said that it was about the Republicans going after her.
  3. I tried to watch the new show, but the acting is so bad IMO. This show on the other hand, better make David suffer otherwise I'm going to be done with this as well. I can't stand that man. And of course I want Veronica dead, but I really want that smug expression wiped off David's face. He's going to pull a gun out on "thug" Benny, for his son as if Benny isn't someone's son, someone he damn well knows too. David is a piece of shit behind his high and mighty facade, no wonder he fell in love with Veronica eeew to both of them, they literally think their shits don't stink. I don't know why Tyler Perry thinks he needs to keep winning, he doesn't deserve it. This show is on it's last leg for me, unless Perry starts spreading the bad karma around fairly. Candace, that's what happens when you lie that damn much, and cause that kind of destruction. Your brother doesn't believe you when you say you were raped, and you were, repeatedly. It's a damn shame.
  4. I was turned off by George, Meredith and Izzie, hated Izzie. I was usually turned off if Shonda had any of these characters given sympathy or care for especially by Bailey and the Chief, when it was never given to Yang. That would cause me to turn on them even more than any of their character flaws, I guess you call that jealousy on behalf of my favorite character. Izzie annoyed the shit out of me from day one with her smiles and hugs personality but the shit really hit the fan when Bailey went and coddled her to try to get her back in the program, because of her "big love" with Deny, yet wanted Cristina crucified for Tremorgate. She treated Cristina as if she too were not an intern, as if she had the last word over a fucking a attending, that would Burke. She didn't want to give her a second chance but didn't hesitate to fight for Izzie. Fucking bitch that Bailey, I can't stand her. I was ever so glad when Cristina told her ass off when she used Cristina's race to get her to take the Nazi patient because she didn't want to deal with him, bitch. LOL, don't mess with Cristina, do not treat her like she doesn't need someone in her corner like the rest do, my blood boiled. I started loathing Bailey after all of this shit, truly loathing her. I never felt that the Chief nor Bailey showed any kind of we have to look out for this intern as well towards Cristina. Alex, I could forgive anyone looking out for him, but the rest got way to much coddling for my taste, forgiveness, and Izzie was at the top of the list, pissed me off. But once again, showed Shonda's deep seeded hate for Cristina, just another example. Speaking of the Nazi term, I remember when Shonda had Burke's mother chastise Cristina for calling Bailey the Nazi, Why? Why the fuck did Cristina get chastised when they had been calling Bailey that term since before MAGIC showed up in the program? Because it was once again, let's shit on incompetent relationship and overall human being Cristina again. That spiteful bitch Shonda, she could never hide her bias against Cristina it was always very clear in the writing. I would one day like to know who exactly Cristina represents in Shonda's background because it isn't anything good contrary to what she's said.
  5. It was? You mean she stood up with cameras rolling and they covered her speech in its entirety, until she left the podium? Because that's how they covered Trump's last speech. If they did, then I stand corrected.
  6. Good to know, so Chris Hayes is all I'll be watching tonight apparently. I have no idea why his speeches need to be covered especially in their entirety. Again, this is total bias, I don't care how boring they feel Clinton is, where the hell is her full speech to I believe it's the American Legion today. Where is it? If they cover his speeches in their entirety where are hers? Then they come back and report that she's in hiding and talk about the speculation of how sick she is...oh and she won't give a press conference. Well be that as it may, take what you can get because her face was right up on a podium today giving a speech to veterans, why wasn't it covered live? See ya tomorrow Rachel, unless Trump interrupts your show again. Keep it up MSNBC, keep allowing Trump's speeches to interrupt your highest rated prime time show, good luck with that. I don't want to see him for five fucking minutes much less and hour or more. I know he needs to be covered, what he says has to be covered, but it should be covered in short clips especially if you're not going to cover the speeches of the other candidate in the same manner. He should give his speech, it should be reviewed behind the scenes and during the next hour following his speech, the most important parts of his speech should be shown and then analyzed by the journalists. Not torturing me, the viewer, to watch it word for word. Yep, because they sure as hell will never stop covering Hillary's.
  7. Yeah, I caught that mistake and changed it. LOD has the illegal model agency story, thank you Lawrence for following Hayes in detail. It should be all over the news, unbelievable. Keep digging, I'm sure if they dig even further they'll find out this is exactly where Melania came from.
  8. I'm personally done with Paul LePage, it's not interesting. Get back to me when he steps down, or gets hauled off to jail or a mental facility for something. The Trump/Mexico story will be interesting when the Mexican president remembers the good relationship he has with President Obama, the summit that he just had with President Obama and the Prime Minister of Canada, the objections he's expressed toward the campaign that Trump has been running, and proceeds to rescind his invitation. Well he can't do that since he also invited Clinton, so he'll have to come up with some other excuse to back out of it, so he doesn't start looking like Putin negatively interfering in our election. Yeah, when the story has this angle, the press can get back to me.
  9. Trump going to Mexico is not news, get back to his modeling agency's illegal immigrant hiring practices and poor treatment of young teenage girls. I'm glad Chris Hayes went into detail with the story, it'll probably be the only detailed coverage it gets.
  10. They both look like stoners. And yes, quite a few times I was like who the hell is the doctor here? Why the hell does she keep talking? No one is interviewing you, you're not the doctor. She wouldn't shut up.
  11. I agree, and when the prosecutor was reciting words from the Koran I believe, it really got to him. He teared up and said that he didn't know if he killed her, not because he couldn't remember but more because he did agree that had he checked her pulse or called the 911 maybe she could have been saved. She looked dead to me but the point was made. So in that scene, I thought he was thinking yeah, she's right, I didn't stab her but I might have helped in her death because I could have saved her with a phone call. Poor thing, I did feel for Naz, especially when he confronted his mother that in truth, she did believe that he did it. I mean yeah, he took his father's car without permission, but it's not like he wasn't going to bring it back. They knew he was going to a party, they just didn't know he lost his ride and took theirs without permission. Bottom line, I don't think the punishment that he suffered fit the crime at all. Now what's going to happen to him? He's probably not going to get any therapy of which is definitely needs and he's gonna be hooked on drugs. Life totally destroyed, shame. I mean he could have met up with the same circumstance if he had gotten the ride from the friend to the party. It was just the wrong girl at the wrong time because of the sicko she was tied to at one point and he could have met the same kind of girl at the party. It was all sad/tragic, the girl seemed troubled but sweet. I've gotta go back and watch this from the beginning because I got into it kind of late, but when I saw Michael K. Williams was in it, I started paying more attention. I see James Gandolfini was a producer. I wonder if they would have continued with this for another season if he hadn't passed away. Although there are other producers but... Or, was this a play or something before it came to HBO? I haven't read anything on it. I knew that cat had some symbolism to the "system" and I was trying to figure out what the hell his almost debilitating eczema had to do with the system. It was excruciating, what a nightmare. The song, Roberta Flack, my mother use to play this version of the song all the time, so soothing. I would have been one of the six who said not guilty that's for damn sure. No way could I send a man/woman possibly to even a sentence of death, based on the angles that were overlooked in this case, no way. I couldn't live with that even with that bloody knife many things were just off.
  12. "Pastor" Devil Burns was screaming at the top of his lungs at Kristen, I was like girl, I gotta change the channel. I can't... It would make sense to me if one of these journalists would ask "Pastor" Devil Burns, who is supposed to be a man of the cloth, um, does he think that a "Hillary in blackface" cartoon the most effective holy way to express his objections toward her? Or did Kristen ask him this, because I couldn't watch. I came in on him screaming some shit about her ancestors and that was it....Again, key word being holy, duty to uphold a holy standard unlike the rest of us, who don't have a job of helping others try to connect with god like he does. Yet this "man of god" who is a Trump supporter thinks this cartoon is the best way to respond and point out that Hillary in his opinion has her own racial biases? Again, what a "man of God." EVIL
  13. Yeah it was really sweet, genuine the way she was curling her pony tail. That entire scene was not in the reality tv script, that was a real moment. The promo editing monkeys for this episode really got me. I was totally not expecting the kind of camaraderie I got in this episode.
  14. Boy Jacq. is crazy, she definitely needs calming influences 24/7. I did feel for her where Nicholas is concerned, poor thing. Tre is really trying not to engage in the bullshit, she's really trying to keep calm and put some things in perspective. I think she's trying to let things roll off her back, I like it. I don't need table flipping Tre to come back to make her interesting. I like Dolores and Siggy. It was good to see an episode where they all the ladies had a good time together.
  15. LOL, I agree, this is good tv, yet terrifying at the same time.
  16. Yep, he said it, with all the other bullshit he mumbled. He said that Trump told him that Hillary's Dr. would be putting out a note for her and since he knows her Dr. and knows that her health isn't all that good.... which was completely a digression from what he was asked. He was asked about how he came to write the note for Trump and he of course thinks mentioning Hillary's health is part of that answer.
  17. Bwaah, he said he knows Hillary's doctor so he knows Hillary's health is not so good, LOL. Make sure when you get him on your show Rachel, to ask him if he thinks it ethical to talk about the patients of his "fellow" doctors. Yes, he does look like a predator, sleazy. Just about every person I see associated with Trump looks sleazy in appearance, ewww. "Governor DMoney/Shifty" over there in Maine is the gift that keeps on giving.
  18. I see Michael Steele has found his long lost Uncle Tom hat. I thought he lost it for good. Fucking fool, he can't get out of it, and he never will. He hasn't even apologized for the birther movement and he hasn't fired Bannon. Steele must be crazy, it's ugly, you're damn right it is and I know I emailed the Hillary campaign asking them to use it all in ads... to get the Breitbart in ads....Aw, you're offended, yeah, I'm offended too. I see Chris Matthews has a similar problem, you can't empathize with the attacks on your guest, yet think it's wrong to point out that said candidate is supporting the likes of the people who are terrorizing him in an advertisement. You, Christ Matthews, and your anally retentive buddy Steele, are another example of why the problem continues, you gotta call a spade a spade over and over again. I'm done with Chris Matthew's show, watch Chris Hayes my friend and maybe you'll get the the picture.
  19. Hell no Rep. Coburn, I want the exact opposite, I want the states to lose power. I don't want governors to be able to poison the water supply of poor citizens so they can line their pockets and pockets of their rich friends. Meanwhile the federal government is powerless to be able ride in and give citizens assistance. Or haul governors off to jail for not using the money they clearly have to install new pipes. Fuck that, states needs less power and more oversight. They're still pushing their fucking secession from the union state by state, that's exactly what they've been trying to do.
  20. Yeah, Trump gives press conferences, and answers what and how ever the fuck he wants to answer, when he's not telling reporters to be quiet. I'm looking at you Katie Tur. What a joke this campaign season is.... Quite frankly,I don't remember any press conferences from the 2008 election season, I really can't recall any. I recall interviews, there have always been interviews, but press conferences? Not unless there's scandal, so yeah, Hillary needs to give a press conference on this foundation, LOL. She already did one for the emails and no way should she have one every time they release a batch and they try to make shit up in between the lines. But yeah, she can have one to address the foundation. But I feel like they are once again allowing Trump to decide the criteria for campaigning. His orange ass is always hogging up screen time with his pointless rallies and press conferences where he tells reporters to shut up. Yet the long standing criteria for releasing your taxes, he has not fulfilled, along with that fraudulent doctor's note. However, Hillary still needs to roll out press conferences because the orange dipshit does them? Get the fuck out of here. Maybe I'm wrong but I just don't recall any press conferences the way I recall interviews in all the years that I've watched elections. And how in the hell are these journalists allowing the Kelly Conway's of this election season to form their lips to say that Hillary Clinton doesn't have detailed policy plans WTF Rachel? Just like this delusional Conway bitch and the rest of Trump's surrogates have been all over these sorry networks forming their lips to say that Hillary hasn't taken her ass to minority communities, are you fucking kidding me? They just let his surrogates spout that blatant lie without batting an eye. Again, you have got to be kidding me, this literally made my head spin around and that's saying something in this election year.
  21. The best part was Ramona mumbling to herself over in the corner that she was going to give the jewelry away, OMG, LOL. That woman is a mess, I love it. Well based on that toast she made at the end, this would make sense. Meanwhile, Bethany and her evil ass with crazy Ramona faking tears, Bethany under the covers, oh the tears of it all, LOL. Yeah it's all about you and Ramona, damn these women are narcissistic. You know what, was that Bethany in that picture with Tom? This was entertaining, good laughs.
  22. Did Glenn Beck pay that caller to say that he's pretty much going to put a hit out on Trump if he doesn't build that wall should he get elected? This is some scary shit.
  23. Like Cher said on LOD last night, "I don't like that chick." I died laughing.
  24. Yeah, I truly did think she was getting somewhere with that extreme vetting policy, to actual make the point that it needs details. He can't use the old extreme vetting policies because they were deemed unconstitutional, so what's the new policy going to look like? What is the vetting policy in place right now, you have to know the details if you're going to say it's not effective enough and your policy will be better. I keep hearing the GOP criticizing the vetting policy of Syrian refugees yet I never hear them doing it with details. The Dems. will come back with who is involved in the vetting and how long the process takes, as well as which states are taking in the refugees and the number of refugees that have been placed so far, but then the Reps. never respond with details on what they would add, change, make the vetting more effective, safer. I'm listening. Then they talk about border security, what exactly do they need? More boots on the ground, more helicopters flying over to monitor the border..... because they claim that they won't consider any immigration laws until the border is secure. But what exactly does that look like outside of that ridiculous wall which everyone on both sides knows won't be built.
