  1. His eyes have looked like that since Jenelle’s 16 and Pregnant episode. I despise Jenelle, but I just CANNOT with Andrew and I HATE him more than I can express for making me side with Jenelle on this issue. It just kills me to do so. But, NO ONE has kept him from Jace. He hasn’t paid a penny in child support. As far as we’ve seen, he has shown up a grand total of TWO times since 16 and Pregnant. Two times in nine years. And both times, Barb has gone out of her way to meet with him to try to forge a relationship between him and Jace. How DARE he blame her for keeping Jace away from him! He’s a piece of shit and Jace is better off without him.
  2. It was named. The sign outside was shown a few times and James also mentioned the name It’s Ohm.
  3. I stumbled into this topic after searching for the recent Michael Jackson doc, so it’s been a few years since I’ve watched this VERY tragic, sad, and disturbing story. But something I will never forget was when the aunt who just could not believe that Diane either drank or used marijuana, because she (the aunt) never personally saw Diane do either and there was no way that she (the aunt) wouldn’t know that either were happening with Diane, went to see yet another forensic pathologist for his opinion on what happened: she (the aunt) was smoking outside after meeting with the pathologist and said to the camera something like, “great, no one knows that I smoke, it’s a secret. I guess not anymore.” My immediate thought was, “lady, I could tell by your voice and your skin within five seconds of you being on camera that you’re a long time smoker. Yet you don’t think Diane could have secretly been an excessive drinker?” Her lack of self-awareness was just astounding to me.
  4. James has SERIOUS issues with anger and with rage directed at women. I don’t like Katie all that much, but I’m on her side regarding this issue. Random and unimportant, but I’m genuinely curious as to whether Billy and Bert of the Brandon, Billy, and Bert trio are actually named Billy and Bert, or if their formal names are William and Albert (or Robert)?
  5. I didn’t realize just how much I miss Oprah.
  6. I don’t know what the statute of limitations is in California, but in my state, it’s 20 years STARTING from the time the child turns 18.
  7. I’m a wife, so not a girlfriend, but if my husband and I are going somewhere together, I drive, regardless of whose car we’re in. But, it’s because we have had way too many arguments about how he’s driving while I’m a passenger. I guess I’m a terrible backseat driver. Lol. So, for the health of our marriage, we decided to eliminate the conflict by just having me always drive.
  8. Leah basically has no story line this season. So Kail said she’d cancel Jo’s mandated child support when he got 50/50 custody, but “didn’t get around to doing it” for more than six months? Yeah, I’d sue her for back child support too.
  9. So, there is no longer a parole system for federal prisoners. Almost all convicts in federal prison have to serve at least 85% of their sentences (assuming they were convicted after 1987, which is when parole was eliminated). There is now something called supervised release, which is similar to the old parole system, except that there is no “parole board” that reviews one’s case and decides whether to let one out early. Supervised release has to be imposed by the judge at the time of sentencing. And in the case of certain crimes, it’s mandatory. I don’t know if Teresa was given a term of supervised release, but it’s also possible to be sentenced to prison followed by a term of probation. Probation is technically different than parole, but the differences are slight. I could go on, but I’m already boring myself.
  10. I went to law school in DC (Georgetown), and I also didn’t find the city to be boring at all. However, I did notice that the city is extremely transitory, in that most of the people I met in my five years of living there (I clerked for a judge for two years after law school) weren’t from DC or anywhere nearby. Mostly they were there for school or to work in government. And, when the administration changed, a whole lot of people moved out and new people moved in. I’m from Chicago, though, which I wouldn’t describe as transitory, or at least not to the degree Los Angeles might be (meaning, obviously lots of people move to L.A. to try to pursue careers in entertainment, or for better weather, which of course isn’t happening in Chicago. Lol). So I wasn’t used that part of the “flavor” of DC.
  11. If Dorit thought that she gave Lucy to a good home, how would Dorit know that Lucy didn’t end up in a kill shelter? The shelter called the Vanderpump rescue when the dog was scanned for a microchip. How would Dorit know what shelter is was, unless she was the one who brought Lucy there?
  12. I apologize for misinterprepting your initial post. I thought you wrote that YOU thought his job is to be Stassi’s boyfriend, and THAT’s why he had no problem with steaming her outfit, not that he wouldn’t have had TIME to steam if he actually had a job. I’m glad that you don’t have to iron. 🙂 We can’t deal with ironing at all, which is why I bought an industrial steamer. Lol.
  13. I agree. I also don’t think that because he steamed Stassi’s clothes means that he has no job. My husband and I are both lawyers who work full time. Neither of us are on LinkedIn, and we both steam each other’s clothes all of the time if the other needs help. The idea that a man wouldn’t do laundry/iron/steam UNLESS he doesn’t work is backward 1950s thinking, IMO. I also wasn’t at all bothered by Jax and Beau calling Brittany and Stassi to tell them what was going on. I sort of even feel as though Jax was looking out for Beau by suggesting it because he knows from experience that Stassi would freak out about the situation.
  14. This picture is EVERYTHING!! I love it so much ❤️❤️
  15. I do know how this works, but I represent poor people not convicted of white collar crimes 😬. Usually, ICE comes to get them when they are released from prison. Meaning, they are transferred from DOC custody to ICE custody. Regardless of whether the case is on appeal. If, theoretically, he were to win on appeal after he’s been deported (and I don’t think he will), he may be allowed to come back.
  16. Kristen and Ariana are now friends? I was surprised to see Kristen hug and kiss Ariana (before LaLa) at their lunch before the trip.
  17. He told his sister that their mom only texted him “Happy Birthday” and didn’t call. He told Lisa that his mom didn’t call. Both are true, but he didn’t correct Lisa’s inference that his mother didn’t contact him to wish him happy birthday at all. I have to say, I’m on Jax’s side with this. He is the child, albeit an older one. But she is the parent. The parent should always be the bigger person, IMO—it seems like it should be instinct.
  18. My brother in law sells some sort of replacement fake (or animal) skin (I think?) used in surgeries when the person doesn’t have enough skin of their own to close the wound. Or, maybe it goes under the skin? I can’t recall because he’s kind of an idiot and I tend to tune out when he talks about his job. But, he claims that he spends a lot of time watching surgeries live. In case the SURGEON needs help. Lol. I’m doubtful that a surgeon would need his help, but I do believe that he’s sometimes present during surgeries for some reason.
  19. I haven’t gotten past reading page one of all of your wonderful comments, but I feel compelled to respond that Kail is a petty, immature ass, who looked like a moron completely ignoring Lauren at Lincoln’s soccer game. Lauren was being nice, even complimenting Lux about how cute he is, but Kail just had to be a pathetic junior high school loser, continuing to ignore Lauren. Kail never changes or grows in any way. Lauren went high while Kail went low. This says everything anyone needs to know about Kail.
  20. I forgot to comment about the fact that Katie revealed the audio on the Jax/Faith recording that we couldn’t hear last season for legal reasons. Katie described Jax telling Faith that he’d never marry Brittany, and the ridiculously offensive reasons why.
  21. No DNA test was even needed for Gary’s father. It was obvious that he’s his biological dad based on sight alone.
  22. Most lawyers can decline to take a case (or withdraw from one they’ve already taken) for almost any reason at all. Usually the only time they can’t withdraw is in the middle of trial, or days before the trial is about to start. Examples of why an attorney would decline a case: It’s not her practice area (you wouldn’t go to PI lawyer for a divorce), the attorney has a conflict of interest, she doesn’t want to deal with a client who it seems will be difficult to work with, etc. Examples of why an attorney would withdraw: The client stops paying, there is a breakdown in communication between the client and the lawyer, a conflict arises, etc. Really the only time a lawyer can’t withdraw is when they are appointed to represent an indignant person charged with a crime. But even then, there are a few exceptions.
  23. I’m pretty sure that Kam is not an attorney. She went to art school, I think? I will NEVER be on Leeanne’s side. She is fake, insecure, and mentally disordered.
  24. I’m an only child married to an oldest child. Luckily we agree politically. Lol I thought that both Darlene and Ben were assholes in that situation, which probably accurately describes my marriage.
  25. I’m don’t remember this regarding Tyler, but that doesn’t mean it didn’t happen, obviously. However, I do recall Joe Gorga of the NJ Housewives having a similar story. Also, why aren’t we discussing the name Tezlee? WTF is that name? I realize that it’s a minor point, but it’s still fucked up. Forever, she will have to correct people that her name isn’t Leslie.
