  1. It should be common sense, but this is a completely braindead move. Unfortunately, that's what a forced, double love triangle has led to, it's a shame that the final episodes are wasted on this.
  2. I guess it was decision time for the cable networks hence the timing of the announcements of some shows.
  3. That's probably what help hurt the show for a lot of people because it dropped a lot this season compared to last season.
  4. It's sad that it took network interference just to avoid that. The writers wouldn't care, we've had countless examples of Regina straight up killing people left and right without anyone batting an eye and the same would've happened here.
  5. There's plenty of unlikeable characters on this show and unfortunately they're the leads. It was pretty obvious what they were going to do, especially once Billie was introduced, unfortunately.
  6. It's always someone else's fault and she had the nerve to lecture anyone about responsibility in their fight...
  7. Yeah, the former has such trivial issues compared to Jordan and Tangey.
  8. I think it's because NBC had no faith in Reverie at all, hence why it got dumped in Summer.
  9. S2 I think, back during the killing Cora/darkening her heart nonsense when she was reduced to being a spineless cheerleader for Regina who begged her to kill her for daring to protect her family, that was the point of no return.
  10. Yeah, it's basically people trying to escape their problems, almost every character has some tragic backstory where they lost loved ones, based on the set up so far.
  11. It would've been better if that was all his set up to get rid of him and his cult.
  12. People have asked, repeatedly, especially for this show. The problem is that NBC isn't giving them any answers.
  13. No decision yet. Paige is just plain obnoxious, if she's not whining about being famous, then she's whining about the cheating and then had the nerve to lecture anyone about taking responsibility.
  14. Roseanne was a half hour comedy so the hole would be much different and that's mostly a different situation altogether though, they have recently floated around the possibility of a Middle spinoff or a Roseanne-less show altogether with the rest of the cast. I think it was Shades of Blue being taken out is what gave this show the Sunday slot and that's probably because it was ending and used this show as midseason filler instead. As for Reverie, that felt like a reject they just dumped in Summer because they didn't like it or something negatively happened during the development process. Honestly it doesn't seem like it would do well either way so I'm not sure what their expectations are, it's Summer and scripted shows (especially) usually don't fare well. It's usually unscripted shows like Big Brother, America's Got Talent, or American Ninja Warrior that thrives here.
  15. That's probably part of the problem of why most viewers weren't interested, you can't get away with these kind of mysterious high concept shows anymore, especially post Lost, hence why these types of shows keep failing or don't last too long.
  16. Definitely, they got rid of a lot of dead weight in the finale with all things considered.
  17. Izombie usually holds off on the action until the finale and even that's limited since it's one of the cheapest shows on the network sans the dramedies like Jane the Virgin and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, it mostly takes place at the morgue/police station that feels left over from other procedurals and it's mainly Liv in make up solving the case of the week in terms of its structural format.
  18. It's budgetary constraints, it's the CW and it's not one of the superhero shows that costs the most among their network. It's why it's mostly been Liv in makeup, solving cases, and doing different personas, while action set pieces are few and far between.
  19. It's not that they're going to sing kumbaya or anything, it's more that the show is moving on from having FG being antagonistic, next season is the last and they're most likely going to shift focus on other storylines. Blaine is going to be stuck with his brain smuggling operation and whatever storylines they have in the final season. With next season being the last, it's just not as likely they'll be stuck with these storylines, they have an entire series to wrap up next season and they've set up the government to being antagonistic next season on top of other storylines they have to deal with. There's a reason why they had both Blaine and Major turn on the antagonists in the end and dealt with the villains of the season that wrapped up those storylines.
  20. Because that was when Adam and Eddy tried to force in the notion of Snow 'darkening' her heart when she stopped Cora in self defense from killing her family to the point of having Snow beg Regina to kill her and that was when any backbone she had at that point completely disappeared before becoming a fully fledged Regina cheerleader.
  21. Probably to keep her mysterious or something and then come up with a backstory somewhere down the line later on had it survived, I guess.
  22. They look so much alike, so that's probably why. Emma's character got tossed away like trash.
  23. Major taking over pretty much means that FG aren't antagonists like they were this season under Chase, the government seems to be set up as the antagonists for the next and final season which sort of makes sense given the increased scope of the series each season. As for the zombie cult, all that seemed to come out of it was daddy issues for Blaine that ended once his dad died along with his cult, his plot is pretty much brain smuggling hence the final scenes in the finale.
  24. They literally stood around and did nothing after the fact, it's only when Major stood up did he basically be declared their new commander. Agreed, but at the very least things have changed because Chase is gone and Major took over, so that's 1 less thing they have to worry about. Between this and the Zombie cult plot, they were juggling far too many storylines at once this season tbh, hopefully the final season is much more focused now that they've closed out the zombie cult and Chase plots.
  25. Yes, it was announced at the CW Upfronts that Izombie, Jane the Virgin, and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend would all end with their respective final seasons next season.
