  1. Yeah, it definitely picked up in the last few episodes with this Devlin arc.
  2. It doesn't seem like he type of show that'll last too long.
  3. The storylines barely revolve around the impending asteroid itself, it's more about other characters' own motivations like Monroe trying to invoke a civil war was more of a power play for the presidency and the RESYST hack group trying to blackmail the government for their own self gain. Even the storyline with Grace was more about a botched cover up over Claire's death.
  4. Agreed, even the President herself is kinda pushing it, even putting herself in danger which would immediately put Darius in that position. Most people would probably not care about the government, it would probably be chaotic with all that's going on, on top of the threat of a civil war going on. As for the premise, many pointed out last season how limited the premise was, it's just that the show is turning to Designated Survivor 2.0 tbh.
  5. Well, none of it has any consequences because of the asteroid so any plans coming from the 'civil war' or hacker group are void of any tension because of said looming asteroid. As for the storylines, it kinda felt like Tanz was being pushed into being the next President role, especially after how fast he was already made VP.
  6. Yeah, I was wondering why they didn't just open it right away, whether or not she's in there, there are still people stuck inside.
  7. Yeah, I think that was more for their awkward introduction of Willis' character into the show because it sort of petered out once that storyline finished.
  8. It is, it's becoming more of a political thriller tbh with the storylines.
  9. Yeah, Salvation is pretty much turning into a political thriller, the asteroid just feels more like a distant afterthought especially with the latest episodes.
  10. Agreed, although it seems more like he's playing with her in his own twisted, crazy way.
  11. Basically this, they had 1 more season and they needed to keep Liv a zombie, at the same time, this was to help Bozzio and by extension Clive.
  12. It was an obvious trap, which shouldn't have taken that long to figure out a set up.
  13. Exactly, they'll almost always use new technology like this in these kinds of stories.
  14. His character honestly spent much of the season shoving a camera in people's faces until the last few episodes where they tried to redeem him where it was way too late and at that point the show was already wrapping everything else up asap.
  15. It explains a lot, the asteroid doesn't need to do anything, they can take each other out.
  16. Agreed, that's another trope, which they've done a couple of times just recently.
  17. Yep, it's a disaster trope that's usually found in medical dramas like Grey's Anatomy, ER, and this.
  18. That's exactly why I can't get into the other subplots, it just feel too trivial compared to the threat of the asteroid.
  19. Yeah that was really dumb, especially with all that's going on.
  20. That and the way they handled their former partner a few episodes ago, that's just a backfire waiting to happen sooner or later.
  21. Very annoying, especially given this subplot.
  22. A lot of people considering the very premise of this series so it wasn't thought up well at all.
  23. Free

    The Cure

Plot convenience for when Liv gives it away and to keep her a zombie for 1 more season.
  24. Same here, especially since they were obviously going to revisit this before the end of the season.
  25. The good news is that next week is the last episode in this case. Otherwise, he's been nothing but an obnoxious character that shoved his camera in people's faces and got in people's way. Who knows how much he hallucinated looking back, it could explain away some inconsistencies.
