  1. Probably because they would have been saying the same thing over and over again for at least a month given the way NBC has been dragging this out.
  2. They're not talking because they don't know anything NBC is the one keeping things quiet. Other shows like Lucifer have had updates and insider info, we recently got confirmation about that show being in talks with Amazon recently. We also knew about shows being in negotiations/talks like The Expanse before it was even picked up by Amazon.
  3. Well it hasn't exactly been a 'good' network, especially since the rebranding.
  4. Well that too, but Syfy is a different kind of mess altogether.
  5. Agreed, especially once they set up her condition a while ago.
  6. 16, so 2 more left after a break next Saturday.
  7. Yeah, I sort of had a feeling with the way they were doing the whole 'mad scientist' trope with her dying and desperate to live.
  8. I think World of Dance and Good Girls was scheduled there and that's probably because NBC wanted to revamp the lineup next season.
  9. Yeah, it's no wonder this show didn't work out, the relationship drama is really bad here. It should've only focused on Stella getting her life back together.
  10. Episode 10 would've made a better finale ending tbh.
  11. Agreed, this would've been the best ending with all things considered minus that last scene for a wrap up.
  12. It's really sad that this is the most activity that this show has gotten since its cancellation.
  13. Timeless' series low was 2x08 with 2.23 million viewers and a 0.5/2 share, so just barely in viewership. Again, not sure what NBC was expecting for a Summer dump that they obviously had no faith in to begin with.
  14. It's pretty rare, for every Expanse and Brooklyn Nine Nine, there are far more shows that don't.
  15. The new character seems to be skating between being utterly insufferable and/or utterly useless and constantly gets in people's way.
  16. It's possible, some shows start out being more proceduralish before becoming more serialized.
  17. I'm not sure what they're expecting, they clearly had no faith in this show as they dumped it in Summer and it was already dead on arrival when it premiered as expected.
  18. They're there to force the love triangles/quadrangle.
  19. Yeah, but it's the tone I wasn't sure what they were going for in that scene. Same here, there was actual closure instead of dragging it past S1.
  20. The audience is there, hence the longevity. For other shows, it's a much more uphill struggle to get much traction outside a fanbase, which is usually niche.
  21. Because these shows are usually niche and not mainstream enough, especially for broadcast television, so basically the big networks like ABC, CBS, NBC, and FOX. They either usually get sampled before dropping off hard later on or are low to begin with and stays that way.
  22. It's an annoying part of the trope and characterizations of these kinds of shows: Castle, Bones, The Mentalist, etc. One of them is the agent character who does cop/detective stuff, the other is an expert who is usually the more charismatic and eccentric one who usually solves the case. in their own way.
  23. It came off as too goofy.
  24. Both the case of the week and Lizzie's backstory getting closure made it feel like a mini finale.
  25. Probably not since it was cancelled after the fact.
