  1. Watching her "dance" immediately reminded me of her awkward walk through the doors and to the elevator with the doc to deposit the body. I had asked on that show thread why she was walking so stiffly with her arm jacked up. It's clear now she has coordination issues.
  2. I don't buy the manpain conspiracy. Daryl's actions and reactions were appropriate based on his relationship to Beth. Maggie breaking down over Beth's death is appropriate based on her relationship. About time. When Daryl barely reacted to Carol's banishment, there was some uproar, not because we just wanted to see manpain, but because their relationship warranted more reaction. The only situation I find that might fit a manpain conspiracy theory is Tyrese's pain about Karen's death. But in that situation the manpain bugged because it was out of proportion to the relationship. I just don't see how Daryl killing Dawn in Beth's name is any more offensive than the group killing termites in Bob's name.
  3. Did these Beth fans petition when Mika died and demand she come back? Wasn't she also a symbol of innocence and hope or was she too young for a team crush token? As for charges of sexism, all I'm hearing is that any hardship, death, sadness, etc. suffered by a female is an attack on womanhood itself. A sullying of the female divine, so to speak. Of course all hardships, deaths and attacks on males are just good storytelling I guess. I'm not just being snarky. Sure there's sexism, racism, religious bigotry, etc. However thinking that the mere elimination of the male opposite will create a utopia is a fallacy. Men are the physically stronger sex and when they are barbaric, the weak and women suffer. But being physically weaker doesn't mean anyone is all goodness and light. Our social constructs shape all of us based on how just and nurturing they are, but we are all human and the whole spectrum from smart to stupid, bravery to cowardice, evil to good is applicable to everybody. I don't believe TWD female characters to be nothing more than victims of male portrayals. And in my mind if someone can't see women as anything more than victims of every circumstances, why bother asking them to be voice of influence.
  4. I see Nene is still wearing that white talc mask around her eyes and it looks ridiculous.
  5. What has happened to Cynthia's fashion sense this season? The blue raccoon eyes in her talking heads? That hooker get up she wore to the restaurant? Even her weaves are jacked up and the blonde is not good on her.
  6. I forgot to mention when it aired, but it was unrealistic how they made Daryl so soft with these bad cops. Although Daryl is perfectly fine with Rick, I would think that Daryl's background would put a chip on his shoulder when dealing with the hospital cop gang.
  7. That's a bonus scene? I watched that scene and I sure didn't go looking for any add ons.
  8. For some reason, Teresa never bothered me personally. However she is really blowing it with this latest foolishness. Obviously she's still not capable of putting on her big girl panties and taking her medicine. I've always known there's no way she could pay back what she owes, even if she wanted to. However trying to sue your lawyer and continuing to play the nut roll? Not cool.Time is ticking and she's wasting precious time on these hairbrained schemes.
  9. Noah was behind Daryl when they came out of the hospital. However since people would naturally focus on Daryl carrying Beth, it was easy to overlook Noah.
  10. I tried to watch some of the ComicCon footage online, but that was a 45 minute panel. Can someone pinpoint the approximate time these altercations took place?
  11. There might be something better somewhere, but why leave the functioning society of the hospital now since Dawn and a few bad seeds have been done away with? Make plans if you ever have to leave, plan escapes routes, but all the ZA can ever be is finding a safe haven. Isn't that what the prison was?
  12. But I got the impression he was eliminating competition to save his own life because the "rules" dictated there be only one doctor.
  13. What's worse, Carol was on her way in to take care of Martin, freeing him from delivering that justice. So why did he stop her?
  14. The scissor stab was incredibly stupid. However a nice roundhouse bitch slap would have been a nice emotional release before biting the bullet.
  15. I don't think having all your characters immortal except for the red shirts equates to good story telling, especially in a zombie story.
  16. Another glaring stupid thing about the hospital arc was that Beth basically free to roam and always getting info because she was doing some non-essential task nearby TPTB who insisted on talking in her presence. Every single time it happened I wondered why she was mopping with no purpose or fiddling with a picture frame absentmindedly. I think the camera shots were all the same. Blurry TPTB in the background discussing sensitive info, Beth in foreground, too obvious to be a fly on the wall.
  17. So you don't have a clue either as to what exactly happened with the good cops/bad cops story, except there were good cops/bad cops and Hansen had to go down :)
  18. Don't forget she was aiming to kill the doctor right when Carol got wheeled in. The stupid grows strong when Beth has scissors in her hand.
  19. Milaxx, what was the exposition? All I ever heard were vague musings about having people's back and not letting people down. Maybe my mind is clouded but I don't recall being told what happened. Even Dawn saying she killed Hansen doesn't tell me why this cops formed this laundry obsessed group.Even the rape scenario was weirdly undefinable.
  20. Well remember Beth was going to kill the doctor in the hallway because she was angry. Numbskull.
  21. Seriously, given how paranoid Dawn was, why would you have Noah in the hallway to poke the bear.
  22. Beth didn't stab her anywhere near the jugular. It was probably below the collar bone. It looks silly on rewatch seeing those petite pair of scissors sticking out of Dawns dark blue uniform even outside the collar. Heck it's probably firmly implanted in her bullet proof vest. Watch the scene again. After she shoots Beth, it is clear she is not injured at all by those scissors as she is begging for mercy.
